Dips in the heated outdoor swimming pool are a must (available April-September), while the private enclosed garden provides plenty of seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining. When it's time to sleep, three spacious bedrooms are hosted on the ground floor – two super-king-size rooms and one king-size bedroom – as well as three stylish en-suites. The final bedroom is on the first floor, offering a comfy twin room with an en-suite bathroom. Private parking is available for four cars.
This holiday home is an excellent starting point for avid walkers and keen climbers. Stroll along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal right from the cottage, or tackle the more challenging Blorenge, Skirrid or Offa's Dyke (all within 10 miles). For quirky boutiques and Michelin Guide restaurants, Abergavenny is just 6 miles away, while Crickhowell (9 miles) offers a quainter market town experience. Other attractions include the Brecon Mountain Railway (24 miles) and Zip Tower (30 miles).
