    The space

This lovely semi-detached cottage is full of character and charm which includes exposed beams, log burner, exposed stone walls and sash windows.

The ground floor entrance hall leads to an open plan kitchen diner, with the added bonus of a cosy log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with an undercounter fridge, oven and hob. There is a wall mounted smart TV and a selection of games, perfect for family time.

Off the kitchen is the family bathroom with a shower over bath. There is a small utility room with washing machine and mini freezer.

There is an additional downstairs WC, and a bright and airy sitting room with lovely french doors leading to patio and tiered garden, with sea views.

Upstairs you will find a spacious double room with lovely rural views, Victorian fireplace with stone mantle, and at the back of the cottage there is a smaller double bedroom with sea glimpses.

Footpath benefiting from a right of way over the entrance of Clifton into Manteg, which opens up to spacious gardens and grounds with raised patio area laid to slabs making the most of the elevated views over Cardigan Bay.

Outside there is a patio, steps lead down to a large grassed area being fully enclosed with a traditional stone wall with timber garden shed. There is a gate at the end of the garden with a rugged footpath leading to a rocky area and over to the beach. The garden is fully enclosed.

The property is approached via a narrow private road, continuing into the private parking area for up to 3 cars.

We had a lovely week at Manteg. The location was great for the Coastal path right from the doorstep (about 35min to Aberaeron), It was also only 5 mins walk to the bus stop to Aberaeron and New Quay. We enjoyed meals on the patio but were grateful we took camping chairs as those provided weren't in great condition. Also worth noting that the beach access from the garden is via a difficult narrow park followed by climbing over a sea wall made of boulders (about 3m high). There is much easier access to the beach on the other side of the river.
