"The room was spotless and white bed linen crisp and white. However the overall rating was let down by historic carpet stains in abundance throughout the property. The sash windows either need repairing or replacing and the glass was blown therefore affecting the view. Also one of the windows could not be closed and the others couldn't be opened. Then once you are in it smelled like a teenage boys room, sweat and lynx. "We received a warm welcome from the host, with drinks served in the garden on arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well presented to a high standard. Breakfast on both days had a wide choice and was delicious with friendly service throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this country house hotel to anyone staying in this lovely part of Wales."
