"The cabin was very clean and very well supplied. The property ended where the pond began and the host provided a fire pit and chairs for enjoying the view in the evening. A screen in porch was very nice, too. Wish we had known about the boat landing right next to the cabin."

Debbie is super friendly and accommodating; she already had a lot of the things we were worried about needing to bring. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy wildlife, stargazing, and nature in an area with rich history."

"The location is remote and very peaceful! Cabin is clean and stocked with everything we needed (pots, pans, utensils, plenty of towels and extra bedding.) Debbie was a great host- she helped us find local farm fresh eggs & answered any questions we had. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!"

"My friends and I rented marks house for about a month for part of our snowmobile season and its great spot. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and trail is like 1/4 mile from the driveway. House was nice and clean plenty of room for everyone to sleep"

"Although the cabin was not cleaned before we arrived, the Vacasa cleaning crew came right over after we called. They said it was a scheduling problem that caused them to not have the cabin cleaned before we got there. I would have expected a proactive call to let us know about the problem and for them to have corrected the schedule before we got there and called them about it. Vacasa is also refunding us our cleaning fee."

"Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1."

"If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful place to stay, this is the one! The cabin was extremely clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot, and the views of the lake can’t be beat, and the location of this cabin is also ideal- it was close to many hikes, and extremely close to the local grocery store and all the restaurants."

"We had a lovely stay at Prong Pond. The property is quiet, and although there are two cabins next to each other, they still feel private. About 6 miles outside of "downtown" Greenville, just the right distance away. The pond was quiet when we were there, perfect for paddling. Amazing scenery and wildlife, although we didn't see a moose, which was one of our goals. Great vacation!"

"Everything was great except the beds and linens. Pillows should be replaced-stained. Mattresses were hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and bed frame squeaked.Linens should be updated, very old. The family did a lot of outdoor activities, it would have been wonderful to go to bed and get needed rest but unlikely with the mattresses and flat stained pillows. Betty McBrien"

"Great spot- walking distance to town, or just hang at the house all day. Plenty of firewood- just bring a starter log if it’s damp! The 3 season room was our favorite and where we spent most of the time."

"The place was just as pictured, in quiet, woodsy surroundings. The trip into Greenville was easy and uncomplicated - we went back and forth at different times of day with no problem. We had everything we needed in the cabin. We would recommend it for sure. Excellent value for the money."

"This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. The gas stove was plenty warm for us, but there are other heaters in the bedroom and bathroom if you need it super toasty. Heidi is a great host making sure we had everything and always available if any questions. It snowed while we...
