"We had a fantastic experience staying at the Tides B&B in Ballybunion. David and Noreen were so welcoming, kind, and helpful as we were planning our next couple days in the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway. Our room (#6) was spacious, had a walk in closet with two luggage racks (!) , sizable bathroom with a wonderful four-way shower and bath product. "While we were staying here, the hotel had a private party with a live band on the ground floor. The party went into the wee hours, and it was right below our room. It sounded like the band was in the room with us. We heard and felt every vocal, every drum beat, every guitar riff. Those rooms should have been blocked off so that no one would have to experience that. It was miserable. We asked for a room change, but the hotel was booked, so we were stuck with it. "The property was well presented, a little tired in areas but clean and comfortable. Some areas could do with improvement and basic fixings need replacing. TV’s weren’t connected up so we couldn’t watch tv, sky didn’t work. Netflix only option on main tv in living room. Little things that make a stay better could be easily and cheaply sorted.
