"We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time! "There were 6 adults from Canada and we had a wonderful stay at Roisin and Larry's home. It is a very impressive home and they had a well stocked pantry for us to enjoy. There were lots of things over and above what was required but they were really appreciated by us. The check in and out process was great. "Had a great stay, the home is a nicely restored farmhouse and had everything we needed. The showers were great and the beds were comfy. We did make a few meals while we were there and the kitchen was well equipped. Very quiet location it was nice listening to cows mooing instead of cars beeping. "Great location for Killarney National Park. We stayed 5 days and walked Gap of Dunloe then boated across, Ring of Kerry with boat trip to Skelligs, day trip to Blarney castle and Cobh , Dingle and Slea Head and golfing at Beaufort golf course. Very well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms with ensuites have showers with bath shower combo in main bath. Great for two couples or family. You do need a car. Host was great and offered suggestions that helped make our stay special."

"Con and Marlene are natural hosts. They keep a beautiful, clean and spacious home. My daughter was ill while we stayed with them and they were genuinely concerned and shared some remedies with her!! "We really enjoyed Elizabeth’s home. The views were wonderful, the home relaxing and comfortable. The walk into town was easy- although the walk back up the hill was challenging ( no fault of Betty’s haha) The location couldn’t have been better for the day excursions and it’s nice to be able to leave and return at will. Next time we are in County Kerry we will definitely visit again!"

"Enjoyed our stay in the cabin, loads of space for everyone to enjoy time together but also to be able to get our own space. Loved that we were just a short ride to the beach and you can drive your car straight onto the beach. Enjoyed bodyboarding as a family. Lots of lovely places to drive to and explore. "We loved this vrbo, it was an authentic Irish cottage. Communication with the host and the local people who help take care of the cottage was great. Timmy the groundskeeper was extremely helpful upon our arrival at the location. Very spaceous, with a large fireplace, full kitchen, washer, dryer. Lots of history and photos of the cottage over the years. Central to Killarney and Dingle. Our favourite!!!"
