"I like how the staff especially Dani the receptionist made our stay pleasant. Easy check in, adding points to my account, clear explanation of the amenities. The hotel is super clean, the guy who is cleaning the ground was a great in his dealing with each inch of the ground. Highly recommended for a quiet stay. "

"So relaxing and beautiful surroundings! Our hosts were amazing and the cookies at check in were so delicious!! The town of Elsah is literally you taking a step back in time! Over 50% of the town is the original buildings from the mid 18 hundreds! The Bald Eagles were very active when we were there! Our hosts gave us a private tour of the town’s museum it was amazing! You can’t go wrong staying there and visiting "

"My flight got delayed trying to get home. The shuttle van was perfect. The driver who picked me up was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The driver who took me back the next day was adequate, but not very friendly. I was disappointed that there wasn't a free breakfast. I had to pay 21$ for mediocre food. I should've saved my money and had something better at the airport. Room was nice. Shower was great! I love the rain shower head. Overall it was good stay. A little overpriced especially...

"The stuff made my stay amazing! The shuttle driver who they called Bishop was friendly and quickly got me to the hotel. Terrence (dining) was super friendly and gave me much needed advice about navigating the city. The breakfast was amazing! Brielle (front desk) was so patient and accommodating as I needed early check in . It was not as early as I hoped for but she did everything she could to get me as soon as she could. "We were just looking for a nice evening getaway while in the Foundry area of St Louis. We took a chance on this historic Inn and were NOT disappointed. Being a sucker for historic buildings, this place had all the modern amenities while still feeling like you've stepped back in time to visit. We'll be back in the future for sure!"
