"What a dirty, unkempt, broken down hotel. They're under renovation but even the new touch ups are cheap, messy, and thrown together. They need better contractors. Their own maintenence dept needs an upgrade. Broken irons, missing hair dryers in 3 rooms we had. Room 410 has some kind of plumbing behind the headboard wall that shakes the entire wall, lamps, and bed constantly. Ver frustrating place to spend time."

"Very convenient to walk to various shops and establishments in Port Jefferson. The private seating in front of our room was wonderful. Parking was convenient and the room was nicely decorated. This was a great little getaway with a beautiful view."

"Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"Inicialmente parecia muito bom, já tendo uma decepção ao registrar onde fiquei sabendo que os quartos de não fumantes são mais caros, desanimando muito. Ao chegar no quarto piorou, pois o cheiro de fumaça misturada com perfume estava muito ruim. A cama muito velha e barulhenta, com uma depressão no meio. Já o café da manhã nos surpreendeu, suco, café, 3 tipos de pães e uma máquina de Wafle. Tudo muito bem arrumado e limpo"

"Check in was quick and easy. The day desk staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and nice, although the mattress was a bit too springy and our room was right next to the elevator so we heard the doors opening and closing as well has other guests in the hall all throughout the night. The pool was nice and well maintained and overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"The worst stay! The beds were so uncomfortable that you can actually hear and feel the springs. I was lucky to get any sleep at all considering I got there around 10:30pm and was up all day and driving forhours.The carpets were questionable. Water stains/hole on ceiling. The shower ceilings were sooo low that it was hard to take a proper shower. The only positive was the workers were friendly. They probably felt bad for the people that paid to stay at this hotel. I didn’t mention anything...

"The room was clean. The location was good for what we needed. The children next door were very loud as well as the parents till after midnight. Unless they do something about that I won't be going back unfortunately"

"Wonderful clean hotel in a great location. The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean. The kitchenette area came in handy traveling with kids and had a lot equipped with the it. Indoor pool was also a plus and very clean. You need to sign a waiver and get a separate key to access the pool."

"The inn was great it worked perfect for our family. Having 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths is great for 4 people. The owners had great snacks, coffee, Fiji water. Location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and the Gateway theater. We were here for a show that my daughter was in at the theater. I highly recommend the Belport inn"
