"Not often do I find accommodation where it is even better than it looks in the photos on websites - Settlers Boutique Motel has been beautifully renovated with a lovely look and feel. I got a warm welcome and shown to the cosy warm room thanks to the heat pump being already on, which was a nice touch. "Tony was a fantastic host; attentive, welcoming and informative. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm. Bed extremely comfortable, bathroom spacious with his and hers vanity to get ready.
5 min walk to the hot pools, restaurant and coffee shops.
The grounds are well kept with a seating area overlooking the gold fish pond.
My wife and I were looking for a short getaway and would highly recommend OakView Hanmer Springs.
We will be back for sure!"

"The 2 bedroom units where we have stayed were great! They are clean and in great condition! They have great activities for kids like the playground, trampoline, mini golf and carts ride. The staff are great and friendly!
The only two things that might need a bit of work would be- the playground might need a bit of work on it and the parking spots between the units was too tight to park the car in due to the shrub/bush which would need trimming back.
