"The AC is weakkkk. Room set at 65 will not go lower and was HOT & Humid. Complained and said nothing they can do they are sold out, no other rooms. We showered and were sweating. I asked for Fan, sorry no fan. Asked again for different room or to look at AC, they said AC was working fine. No way was it 65 mor like 77. The room we stayed in was a Cubicle. No windows but a sliver at top of room. This room is the same price as all the other rooms. I complained, no change in price. There...

"A room with a waterfront view is nice. Waited more than 30 minutes to just get acknowledged at the dinner restaurant by the water, then after waiting another 15 minutes of being ignored...we left. Decor is tired. There are better choices to stay in Newport. It's an expensive hotel, and should at the very least have better service."
