"Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%"

"This is a lovely hotel to stay at. The staff are friendly and helpful. My shower wasn't working properly so they moved me to another room. Both rooms were were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Its close to central Hull - the main square being a 5min walk away. My breakfast was good with various options."

"We went to a concert in the town hall. The hotel is just across the road so couldn't be more convenient. Breakfast was very good. There are only 6 parking spaces which are quite tight but alternatively there is a big carpark next door. We will definitely return. "

"O hotel possui uma arquitetura bem bonita e um ambiente bem acolhedor. O hotel é limpo, os quartos possuem um tamanho bom, mas as camas não sao muito confortaveis. O banheiro é bom e tinha o necessario. O cafe da manha estava incluso e possuia uma boa variedade! Vale a pena a estadia!"

"A lovely pub in the centre of York with rooms and a pay and display carpark behind it. I've stayed here before and will always stay here whenever I visit York."

"Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated."

"Self check in details sent in good time and the process was painless. Room a little compact for a deluxe room and not sure which city i was seeing from the "city view" but all i could see was the house next door. "
