"Came to stay for an early morning interview. Was on train and delayed so was worried I might not make it. The owners were great and reassured me. Clean tidy too. Lovely comfy bed and quiet. "

"I was very happy staying at The Grainger Hotel again. Incidentally i have stayed at The Grainger Hotel on numerous occasions. If i need to be in Newcastle not far from Town i always choose The Grainger Hotel as i know it makes perfect sense to do so. The single room with en-suite was immaculate & well presented. "The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. "On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 "

"Was exactly what I needed, a place to stay for one night. Wasn't expecting ‘private bathroom’ to just be a sink in the room and a shared toilet but it was fine for one night."

"The property is overall really good, the bed was comfortable. The staff was really good they provided me with extra towels at no additional cost. Safe parking and location of the hotel is exactly to be on point, especially if you are visiting the city center. "

"A very good country pub, good food and a very restful overnight stay. Highly recommended."

"The property is in a great location, perfect for the bus and the coop. Short walking distance to the centre of Seahouses. It was clean and felt like it had been decorated recently. Towels were nice and fluffy. Coffee/tea stuff was refilled daily. Only thing missing was hand wash in the bathroom."
