"My first stay at the Westgate Hotel was frustrating because of the construction work next to the hotel.
I received a message before check-in informing me about the construction, but the noise continued throughout the night and was very disruptive.
At check-in, the hotel staff did not offer earplugs to help reduce the impact of the noise.
The breakfast was simple but good, and the hotel's location next to the train station was a definite advantage."

"Great country space. Loved the location but would suggest trying to get there before dark to make it easier to find. Comfortable bed, quiet location, great access to walking trails and not too far into the town. Easy commute to Oxford, either park and ride or bus. Great facilities in the cottage."

"What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management.
Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy.
Would happily stay again when in the area for work."
