"Beautiful River view! Fire pit with chairs in grassy area by the river. Clean room, lots of fluffy pillows, very nice proprietor. Convenient to local restaurants and stores."

"The house is wonderful the location is perfect away from the crowds and if you love to birdwatch it is ideal."

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "

"The unique property was perfect for our stay as an extended family including grandparents, siblings and kids. Everyone had plenty of space without tripping over each other, the property was private and clean, in a great location, and the host very responsive. The AC in bedrooms and plenty of toys already there for young kids were great added bonuses. They have clearly put a lot of thought into what will make their guests stay more enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawall Shores. The house had everything! Location is close enough (1 hr drive) to Bar Harbor to easily explore the main part of Acadia, but also very near the Schoodic side entrance (10 mins) and a few local shops, restaurants, and a brewery. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed the game room! My wife and I took our morning coffee in with a water view from the porch while we ended our nights with a glass of wine in the chairs on the rocky beach or by the firepit. Even...

"This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....
