"Audrey and Tony's place was perfect for 3 families to spend our vacation together. The house had everything you could ever need! The yard was perfect for outdoor games and the patio had so many areas to sit and hangout. The screened outdoor living place worked well for avoiding mosquitoes. There was a fire ban in effect during our stay so we couldn't use the fire pit or pizza oven but they were set up nicely and would have been great to use. Thank you again for the great stay!!"

"Great cabin, suited us very well. Road in is currently being worked on and thus was very muddy and a regular car would have not been able to get to the cabin. Hopefully the work will be done soon. Otherwise everything was fantastic."

"The cabin is located a bit out of Clearwater, approx. a 15-20 minute drive away. Good described, easy to find. Lovely equipped and decorated, clean, comfy bed, even mosi screens and net (inside and outside). Jane is very hospitable, couldn't ask for more. Wonderful views to wildflower meadows and forest. - Clearwater is a nice place, a great restaurant (Hop N Hog) close by and even a farmers market on Saturdays. Jane, thank you so much."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Wolf Den. It was true to the listing, and well appointed. Our swim in the lake was memorable, though it was a bit of a hike down to the water. The hosts were very friendly, introducing us to their dog, Peaches, and rescue parrot, Woody, pulling out swimming floaties for us, and offering a lot of interesting information about the property. Thanks for the wonderful stay!"

"Listed VRBO photos don’t do this place justice—the setting is absolutely beautiful and serene, clean and very quiet. It’s so relaxing. Building designs are creative, and staff are helpful and friendly. It’s a great location for Wells Gray exploration! There was a pair of sandhill cranes on the property while we were there, as well as farm animals, black bear and deer nearby. "We had a great family vacation! The lake was wonderful for the kids to swim and explore, kayaking was fun on the calm water. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The little kids enjoyed the swings and playing games in the yard. Everyone fell in love with the duck that visited every day for treats! Fishing...well...that wasn't so good but it was relaxing. We were quite disappointed the hot tub wasn't available. All in all, though, this was a great place for our annual family...

"Inside the cabin was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the Property Manager was very prompt and helpful. Our group was travelling to and from a family reunion for four days which meant 20 kms of tough gravel road driving each way. It was tough on our car, would recommend a truck or SUV if doing a lot of driving from the cabin."

"Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts."
