"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Lincoln is located in the heart of Marfa and is great home-base for trips to the McDonald Observatory and Big Bend. "Our group of 6 chose to stay at Mark's place to be near the BBNP entrance, but that didn't work out quite right for us. Location is ~18 miles down a narrow, winding, lonely road off the main hwy. Then about another 5 miles of dirt road to get to Casa de Chiles. Mark greeted us as we drove up in the early evening. "Excellent location and hard to beat on price. The only quibble is the shower head needs to be swapped out, it's pretty much only allows just a dribble of water to come out. Probably just a hardware/sediment issue."

"We liked the property a lot. Very unique, coffee shop and Starlight theater, food & drink close by. we had 4 nihts in the bunkhouse room. It was the only drawback, bunkbed-too firm, sleeper sofa too soft, shared bath out of room a little inconvenient. Despite that would definitely stay there again, but in a different room."

"My fiancee and I stayed here for several days. The walls are thin and you can hear the outside, but the a/c noise will counter the outside noise. If you are a light sleeper like me, I would recommend a noisemaker if not used to street sounds. The bed was comfortable, pillows were too soft for me (so I travel with my own), and the walking room is just enough.
