I paid through Expedia and they didn’t explain when I first checked in that a standard room I had gotten prior directly off the website with no problem, didn’t include a king size bed this time. I said something and they said all king size beds were booked.
The toilet didn’t flush I also complained and they charged me $50 additional when I explained that the tank didnt have water after the first time we noticed it didn’t flush. They asked if I had tried looking in the tank, I think as a guest you shouldn’t ask what I tried to troubleshoot with, but that it’s an issue in the first place.
I travel for business all the time, and have stayed here prior to this visit with no problem, but purchasing through Expedia for some reason made it a huge inconvenience for me and the availability somehow changed. The staff half apologized but the fact I got charged extra was wrong and I will no longer be recommending this hotel to anyone that visits Yorkville. What a shame.
