Mother's Day with my family
The place was really nice. Beautiful ocean views from every floor and room. Downside, I did not know there were 3-floors. I recently had a knee replacement, and I also brought my grandchildren a two-year-old in addition twins which are six months old. It was very difficult to go up and down the stairs on to get to all 3-floors. Lastly, the beds. All the beds except for the top right room were very hard and very uncomfortable. We were not able to sleep on them. Location, great! We made the best of it but had to leave a day early.

Amazing views and comfy family space!
We spent 3 nights at Beth’s home and enjoyed every minute. Our large fmaily fit comfortably and everyone had a blast! Our favorite part of the trip was the bon fire on the beach at night. Good times!

Very Happy!
Thank you for a lovely stay! Plenty of room for two families. We all really enjoyed the views from the main living area and upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked. The beach is literally steps away. Provided beach chairs and boogie boards were perfect for a day at the beach. Beth Ann was very welcoming our entire stay and we can’t wait to return!

extended family trip
This home was a great way to relax and be refreshed. The property manager was very accommodating to our needs. The view from the windows was a feast to our eyes and the beach so accessible to children who wanted to play. The pictures on the web site made it look as if the doors opened on the beach and did not show the flights of stairs. Bringing ones own towels was a hassle for us.

This house is spectacular and perfect for a girls trip! My friends and I were stunned at the views and the house accommodations. Such a great time and want to stay here again very soon.

Perfect weekend

The best spot for a group getaway!
Each year, I find a spot for my family to get together at the beach for my mom’s birthday. This was a multilevel space with enough room for everyone to spread out. The middle level living room and kitchen was the perfect home base for our family meals, games, and movies. The views and beach accessibility can’t be beat! We were so grateful for the beautiful and comfortable home to relax in together this year.

Clean, comfortable condo
This is our 3rd year and we enjoy our stay. The beach is close and our grandchildren will hopefully have special memories. We did lose our electricity on the last day, but worked with it. It was sad though, the grandkids ended up going home that night since they were afraid of the darkness at night. We plan on coming again.

Always love coming here!
We always enjoy our stay here. It’s our annual anniversary trip with our family and the layout is perfect for groups!! Easy access to the beach and the owners are always very accommodating!!

Perfect, relaxing getaway
This beach house is the perfect romantic getaway or if you want to go on a mini vacation with the family. It had the perfect view, easy access to the beach. We are definitely coming back next time. Just bring your own bath/beach towels & paper towels.

Hi Pauline, our cleaners do provide plenty of paper products for our guests and bath/beach towels are not provided per our website. So glad you had a fabulous time!

Amazing property

We loved being here!
Our family has stayed here many times and we always have a relaxing and refreshing time. We loved the walks on the beach and the beautiful sunsets from the deck. And the owner is great to work with!

Ideal beach setting
We had a group of 7 staying, family and friends, for a wedding in the nearby redwoods. The house had ample space for us and other family who came by for a dinner. The condo is right on the beach so we could enjoy coffee in the am, or cocktail in the pm on the balcony. Walking the beach is great as it goes for miles in length. Kitchen was amply stocked and we appreciated that for cooking a few meals like we did. Note there are lots of stairs as it's 3 levels, so not for those with bad knees or difficulty climbing stairs. I would go back again for sure. Note, count how many little ducks are stashed throughout the condo...:)

Perfect for Friends Reunion
The home and its location were perfect for us! We are four couples who get together once or twice a year. As mentioned in many of the reviews, the kitchen was well-stocked, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the living space was ideal for visiting. We have already talked about booking again sometime in the future. Thank you for providing a great place for us to celebrate lifelong friendships!

Location, location, location
Our group consisted of 5 LONG time BFF’s who do a trip every year. We’ve stayed many places and this La Selva condo is definitely top of our list on ideal spots. The beds were ALL very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the proximity to the beach, the very best! Communication with owner was perfect. Definitely deserves a revisit!

Beach views!
Enjoyed our time, hard to find an unobscuted beach view in Santa Cruz. Great location, lots of room. Only caution is the stairs, gives a great beach leg workout. Will be back!

Family Girls Trip
It was such a treat to have beach access right out the door. The waves can be heard by cracking open the sliders to the deck and the fireplace adds an extra touch. This is a special place where we hope to return, next time with the guys. Read the fine print and bring your own towels. It is noted, but I missed it, the owner was incredibly accommodating.

Christmas on the beach
Wonderful, well appointed unit right on the beach! Owners were very responsive and everything was easy as can be. Weather at Christmas time is hit and miss, but we enjoyed 3 beautiful days out of 5. We have already booked for next year!

Beautiful location!
The property was right at the beach. The pictures don't do justice! The views are way more beautiful in person. Just a 2 min walk to the beach downstairs. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Be sure to get your own coffee!

Best Beach House
This property is right on the beach and each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of Manressa Beach. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home is beautifully decorated. I loved the propane stove in the living room which was cozy and warm. The host answered all questions promptly and we felt very welcome. It’s worth every penny!

Amazing place (but no towels!)
We booked this 4-bedroom for a 4-person work retreat, and it was incredible. Can't beat the views and the sound of the ocean, and the place was perfect for our needs. Our only issue was the lack of towels - not even hand towels in the bathrooms! We didn't see anything about no bath towels until we got to the bottom of the email with check-in instructions ("Don't forget your towels!") which we saw when we were already in the driveway, ready to check in. The listing says paper products (paper towels, TP) are provided, but should more explicitly say that bath and hand towels are NOT provided in the bathrooms! This is a rare exception (most places we've stayed not only have towels but even offer basic shampoo and soap) so should be called out. We had to run to the store to buy towels for the weekend. Otherwise we couldn't have had a better time.

Glad you had a good time Shelley. Sorry for the confusion about the towels. It is listed in the amentities that linens are provided but no bath/beach towels. Unfortunately with the smaller stackable washer/dryer the house cleaning crew doesn't have enough time to launder all 5 beds and bath towels. I also send the reminder day of in the email just as a double check. Again glad you had a great time.

Wonderful Beachfront Home
Our family of 7 Thanksgiving holiday thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Selva Beach. The house is well appointed and has incredibly easy access to the beach. We had amazing sunsets, viewed dolphins from the deck, and were lulled to sleep by the quiet sound of the nearby ocean. Our host was extremely prompt and helpful responding to the few times we had questions. We definitely would stay here again!

Great views!
Our family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids) enjoyed our stay here. The views were amazing from the upper bedrooms and main floor living space. We wished that towels were provided and that bed linens / blankets were more plentiful.

Hi Julia, sorry for the confusion, linens are provided for all 5 beds however we ask that our guests bring their own bath towels as our cleaning company is unable to launder all 5 beds and towels in time for the next guests with our smaller stackable washer and dryer. Sorry if this was an inconvenience.

Return trip
This is our second year in this home. We had a wonderful time and had everything we needed. It feels like you have your own private beach. The stairs to the beach was right below our condo. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Always Wonderful
This was our third stay at this property and we have always enjoyed it. Right on the ocean and close to Santa Cruz with open and sparsely populated beaches. Lovely as always. And the house is well maintained with everything you need.

This property was roomy, and by being multi level it afforded space and separation. Listening to the waves rolling in and being able to walk the beach was exactly what we were hoping for!

My peaceful serenity
Incredibly pleased lovely place with enough room and privacy for us all, beach access and privacy top notch, loved cooking and eating on the deck with the ocean sound and music playing, it truly was a refreshing trip for us and our crew was very happy, just remember to take the back door key not the front key when going to the beach, we made that mistake after a night stroll on the beach so my husband walked all the way around. Truly fabulous spot with all the amenities, we watched zero tv, and just had family time with board games, food, and drinks thank you! We will be booking again

The BEST location & home for your money.
This is our 2nd trip. We enjoyed the house so much last year, we returned and it was perfect yet again. We ordered out every day and enjoyed dining at the house as much as possible. The pictures do not do justice. Truly need to sit on the balcony to experience the beauty yourself. House has everything you need to cook and enjoy the beach. We will return! :)

Great Beach Get Away
This condo is always clean, neat, and family friendly. There's plenty of room, comfortable furniture, and a great view from every room. We always enjoy our time when we stay here. Beth Ann is helpful and quick to respond to questions. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great escape.

Amazing family stay. Can’t wait to go again.
VRBO very user friendly. Easy access once we arrived. For family get togethers or group of friends, this is a truly amazing location and home. Very comfortable, easy to relax, children comfortable and easy to stay busy. The amenities are incredible. We were so comfortable cooking there. It’s close to shopping, gas, the Boardwalk, Aptos. etc and you’re right on the beach. Can’t beat it. We’re looking for dates now to go back!

The view!
This condo was perfect for our group of 5. Plenty of living and dining space for all of us, plus ample room on the deck to sit and enjoy the view. Its location is ideal for quick trips around the area for dining, shopping, and beach-going - whatever it is you enjoy. We appreciated not having to share beds or sleep on couches and having 2.5 baths between 5 of us was a luxury. We loved it so much we're planning our next stay.

Great place for family beach vacation
This was an ideal spot for our extended family party of 8. (Family of two adults and two small children, plus four grandparents) Plenty of room for everyone, and the house was immaculate and well-stocked. La Selva Beach is a beautiful, quiet beach that we enjoyed very much. Beth Ann was responsive and helpful answering my questions prior to our stay. We would love to come back!
