The first floor bedroom is a double bed, the 2nd floor has the two twins and a queen bed. The first floor platform bed is definitely on the higher side--so, we appreciate the feedback on a step stool. The clothes washer is a Maytag and though it runs well and has for years--we agree it is very loud. The grocery store, ice cream shops and beer distributor is very close--glad you found them!
