Beautiful home in the woods
The house was fantastic. This was the first time in a long time we had our whole family together and the house was laid out perfect to get everyone together. Love the large open family area with the open kitchen. We had plenty of beds for everyone and all were very comfy. We were only about 5 minutes from the slopes and had no issues. The homeowner was very responsive to questions and we get blessed that they chose to share their home with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Even more magical than the listing!
We didn’t want to leave! This light filled home is beautiful and its setting is stunning. During our stay in Feb we looked out the A-frame two story windows to enjoy views of the mountains and the Aspen trees, and sunsets in the evenings. Our families enjoyed cooking meals on the large island while the kids gathered in the adjacent family room with a fireplace and amazing views. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking necessities, pantry items and clean, new appliances. We loved having two washers and dryers for our group as well! The beds were very comfortable (we loved the sheets!) and there were robes in each of the closets which was a nice surprise. There are blackout curtains for sleeping too. The tile floors are heated throughout, keeping us cozy. Mountain Village - the biggest ski base - is just down the road from this beautiful home and very convenient. Our host messaged us on the evening we arrived just to check that we got there safely and to see if we needed anything, which was very kind. We felt lucky to be staying in this wonderful home. We loved our vacation and look forward to returning!!

Lifetime Memory
Brought our 3 adult children and significant others. House is in a very convenient location for not being ski in/out. I was concerned about NOT being on ski hill, but the setting and privacy made for an exceptionally enjoyable environment while still very close to whatever we needed. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, beds/linens all very nice. Furniture/furnishings of good quality. Cindy was extremely responsive leading up to trip and with the couple questions we had once we arrived. Lots of space/privacy, would absolutely recommend to groups with kids or older. It was an incredible week and the home was a huge part of our amazing vacation. And yes, in winter, recommend a 4 wheel drive. Road up to property can be tricky and then driveway slopes down to home. Do VRBO's 2-3x/yr and this property overall is right up at the top of all we have stayed at.

Beautiful home
This ia true VRBO gem. The house is authentic, elegant and rustic all at the same time. A herd of elk bedded down below the balcony one night and we opened the windows to hear them bugling. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks Cindy!

Amazing Mountain Stay

Perfect Setting
We chose this cabin for a ski reunion of four old friends. The cabin fulfilled the fantasy of a western ranch lodge with great log walls and rafters and antlers everywhere. The cabin is nicely secluded and rooms are full of light. The kitchen is well stocked and we had some terrific meals there. There is a lot of room to spread out and the hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Really a great spot, we felt lucky to be there.

Telluride Log home
Great property, with great location in the ski ranches. Plenty of space for our large group and easy access to Mt. Village or downtown Telluride. 4 wheel drive is a must in the winter.

Feels Remote yet close to everything!
This was the perfect house for us! Family and extended family along with our best friend couple and everyone had room to themselves when they needed it yet we could all easily gather in the kitchen area and hang out. The hot tub was for 4 or less people for sure but was enjoyable especially when it snowed while we were enjoying it. Two sets of washer/dryers was nice. Sleds were in the house and we enjoyed sledding in the back yard! The beds were cozy and plenty of warm blankets. The loft was cozy too! Living room couch while it looks leather and not comfortable was quite the contrary. House is only 8-10 min from Mountain Village and 15 min to downtown Telluride in Winter. I can't say enough about the property we loved it and would return again when we come back to Telluride!

Great Property!

Great house
We had a great time and the house was awesome for my kids and extended family. Beautiful property, only 10 min away from skiing. The owner mentions needing 4WD in the description, and I would definitely recommend that in the winter if there is any new snow, as the drive is quite steep. We loved our stay.

Overall nice home. No Mountain Views but feels remote even in a neighborhood. A few small housekeeping items that could be better- sharp Knives etc. but overall nice place to stay!

Wonderful stay for families!
This cabin was absolutely beautiful, functional, and comfortable. Truly one of the best VRBOs we've stayed into! Its layout was so well thought out, so many spots where different family members can hang out. All bedrooms were very well appointed, very comfortable bedding, very nice bathrooms. Beautiful deck areas, and so nice to sit in the hot tub after skiing. Plenty of room to store our ski gear. Kitchen was fantastic, very well stocked with spices, etc. The location is great, Ski Ranches is such a gorgeous neighborhood and we love how secluded it feels there, tucked away in the woods. We will definitely visit again!

Excellent cabin, great location
We loved this VRBO! We were very comfortable in this cabin and it was clean and well stocked. It felt secluded, yet it is very close to town and village station parking/gondola. Would definitely book again for our next telluride trip!

New Year celebration with family
The property is very nice and very clean. Excellent views, very cozy and comfortable, ... very comfortable matresses - the floors were heated....LOVED IT? I loved everything about it BUT the roads may be icy, you must have a 4x4 in my opinion. The shuttle will not take you to the market, or anywhere ..... when we walked- IN-cheked in and saw the Christmas tree there and the house was still decorated for Christmas - it was a such pleasant surprise, and the Christmas tree was gorgeous! Everything in the cabin is quality! Yes a big A+

Very nice
Beautiful home. Had everything we needed. Backyard deck was wonderful to sit and watch the golden Aspens. Layout was great as well, and we never felt cramped. Nice furniture and well constructed log home, felt like it should in the mountains. We have stayed at many VRBO homes over the past 20 years and this was one of the best.

Fun time at High Noon!
Our family had a fabulous 6 day stay at the High Noon property. The owner was great to work with and went above and beyond in handling our questions before the trip. She provided a lot of information regarding hiking opportunities of which we took advantage. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we need for our stay. Could not ask for more!!!!!!

Just departing our 5 day stay in Tellurlde. 2 adults with 5 adult children. High Noon was perfect! Great location. Great common space and rooms offering comfort, privacy and space. Entire home is well appointed, beautifully decorated abs stocked with all you could want in towels, cookware and all essentials. Cindy could not have been more helpful or gracious. First day encountered problems with Direct TV. She contacted provider and stayed on it until resolved. Location is perfect. 5 minutes to Mountain Village and 10 minutes to town. Thanks Cindy and Don

Winter Wonderland
Cindy's home is just gorgeous and we felt like we were on the set of a Hallmark movie. Everything we needed for a picture perfect Christmas vacation was at our disposal, including a tree and Christmas decor! The views are stunning, amazing skiing, we will definitely be back. Beautiful Log Cabin near Telluride
We had a wonderful time celebrating birthdays and exploring the area. The log cabin was large enough for the 10 of us, had many amenities, and is surrounded by tall aspen trees. The decks and the hot tub were great, and the kitchen and dining area allowed us to enjoy many meals together. We enjoyed the free gondola from Mountain Village to Telluride, hiking Bear Creek Falls and Lizard Head trails, and biking along the San Miguel River in Telluride, which is a very cool town. The cabin was close enough to Telluride to drive to and shop. Although there are no mountain views, I would recommend this property for large groups wanting to enjoy the Telluride experience at a reasonable cost.

The Perfect Choice
A gem of a home just two stop signs away from the slopes. We were treated to some good snow fall during our stay and the couple inches of fluff layered over the home and backyard just made it magic. Our first time to the Telluride area and couldn't have asked for a better trip. The mountain, the people, the town, I can see why they choose the area. The house was perfect for our group of all adults. The master was such a treat, heated floors in the bathroom and a steamer in the shower! The views around the home are easy to lose yourself in, staring out off the back deck at sunrise with my coffee will be embedded in my memories for life. I was concerned with the drive to Mt Village but it was very easy and a beautiful ride to boot. 4x4 is a must. Driving to Telluride takes about the same amount of time as the gondola so after a day on the mountain we would just valet our gear and head to town on the gondola for drinks and dinner. Wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Cindy thank you for being so accommodating, I have already shared your listing out to a bundle of people who inquired after seeing some of my photos.

Guys... y’all are missing out on the snow this week !!! It’s great but of course the down side is ..some white out conditions yesterday .. but today sun is out!! 4 wheel was necessary!! Glad you got to visit Telluride.. it is beautiful!

Incredible, beautiful, and cozy
Our group of 10 absolutely loved our stay here. This is the creme-de-la-creme of ski cabins. The house is spacious and gorgeous, PLENTY of sleeping space, a big and well-stocked kitchen to feed our small army, and heated floors on almost every hard surface. We couldn’t have picked a better home to stay in for our trip. Thank you so much again Cindy, we hope to return next year!

Beautiful Home, Stunning Town, Awesome skiing and kind helpful Owners
This home will not disappoint! It was so beautiful, clean and well stocked! Only a few minutes from Mountain Village too! Everyone had a comfortable bed, the kitchen and family room were so cozy with stunning views of the the mountain and majestic snow covered pine trees. The hot tub was big enough for our family of 6 and felt amazing after a fun day on the slopes! The Owner, Cindy, was so helpful and accommodating. She has been by far the most pleasant person we have had the pleasure of meeting on our ski trips! I would stay here again in a heart beat! The only sad thing was when we had to leave!

Amazing property, amazing house, amazing amenities, amazing locale, in amazing Telluride
More than we expected and we expected alot. Being snobs from Vail (hahaha) four couples who have traveled the world are used to nice digs. And these were more than that. Every detail interior and exterior of the house was impeccable. The kitchen was first class with every pot and pan and plate and glass and cup in perfect condition. Every appliance worked as well as every shower and bathtub and hot tub on the deck. Furniture and TV and stereo all in perfect condition. Probably a $20M home for the rich and famous at a reasonable price for guests to experience how the 'other half lives' We'll definitely be back. Thank you Cindy and Donald Michel for a perfect abode to celebrate my birthday with wife and friends. Aloha until next time. :)

House was amazing!
House was great for our family vacation. It was very clean and was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. I would absolutely go back there again. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings. It was absolutely perfect!

Warning: Would give ZERO stars if it was an option
Owner is unrealistic with this rental. The home itself is beyond gorgeous! Just don’t expect to get your deposit back. Very unrealistic expectations. We lost our deposit due to “finger prints on the walls” “foot traffic on the carpet” “too much garbage” she found a few leaves in the hot tub and charged us for that. This is a cabin with white carpet in the mountain. If you make any sort of noise the neighbors will be rude and threaten. Beautiful but not enjoyable or relaxing. If you want a vacation in mountain village pick another home.

You left out the following: You forgot to mention the dirty diapers left under the bed and livingroom . The jacuzzi was full of dirt, not leaves. It clogged up the filters which shut it down . You packed my 2 stadium chairs and didn’t return them . Food/dirt finger prints on walls and sofas. It was a lot of excessive cleaning. I had to return kids I-pads that were found under the bed UPS. There were missing window cranks I had to order. I didn’t know about the neighbors til now. That’s real hard to do since their not close. Until now, I’ve never not denied a return deposit in all my years of renting . We had no other choice.

best escape ever !!!
our annual vacation this year went to Telluride--and rather than be in the busy pace of Mountain Village, we chose this fabulous cabin in the woods... close enough to be there for coffee in a flash and far enough away for the feeling of seclusion. The house is overwhelmingly comfortable, charming and full of everything you need and more... two washer and dryers (who does that! including detergent!!) the two tier decks offered privacy for outdoors for our two kids and their mates... the kitchen was fully stocked and we prepared 3 incredible meals with all the equipment needed, including a large grill that allowed 6 huge steaks for cooking... the Directv worked, the computer had great WIFI/internet and the jacuzzi was perfect. the only problem was the trip came to a close sooner than we wanted ! do not hesitate to book this home -- it is such a treasure destination--we will be back !

Beautiful log home that is in a great setting with Aspen trees all around.
Our family stayed there for 9 nights in July 2018.The log home is beautiful inside and outside with a big yard for kids to play in. The owner Cindy was very helpful with ideas of things to do in the area and ideas for hikes and restaurants. Also it is very easy to get to Telluride using the free Gondola which our young grandchildren treated as a Disney ride. The home is well stocked and maintained and we had a great time.

Amazing Private Cabin!
This property is perfect for a large family or group of couples visiting Telluride. Amazing time and could not have asked for a better place for the 8 of us to comfortably stay and enjoy our trip. The cabin feels secluded being in a large lot but is close to everything. Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!
