We love Ocean Lakes.
Once we were checked in, we had a great stay. House was a quick golf cart or bike ride to the beach and pools. Our family will definitely come back!

Comfortable home away from home
Comfortable home, responsive host. Easy peasy once we got in and unpacked. Everything we needed to cook meals. I really liked the furniture covers because I usually bring my own sheets to cover sofas and chairs but did not feel the need to use. The only negative was finding available parking in the overflow area on a couple of occasions.

Charming home close to beach in ocean lakes campground
This charming one floor home is located in ocean lakes campground . It was perfect for us and our 4 kids . Lots of amenities within the campground . I recommend renting a golf cart to access the amenities which include a water park , store , restaurant and beach . Our host was wonderful and we really enjoyed our week at Oceanlakes .

Best host on here!!
This property is darling. Great location in the Ocean Lakes community. What really makes this location great is the host. Jessica was so accommodating and understanding. She was so sweet. The world definitely needs more people like her. She was very easy to reach and answered on the first ring when we had trouble unlocking the door. It was easily fixed with her help. Highly recommend this listing if you’re wanting to stay in the Ocean lakes community. Thank you for everything!!

No surprises! Was perfect!

Busy park- great host
Jessica was very helpful and a good communicator as we prepared for our stay and throughout the stay. We had not stayed in this park before, so were surprised at how busy it was. A golf car rental was a must. We enjoyed the beach, pool, water slides, and mini golf. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. and the size of the cabin worked great. Thank you, Jessica!

First time at ocean lakes and wont be my last time
This was the first time visiting ocean lakes and between the expressiveness of the resort and the owners of the house we rented they reached out and made a personal connection with us that I will definitely be returning and recommending ocean lake and the ohana house to friends and family

Awesome experience!
The house was super cute and just what we needed as a family of six. The community was amazing so much as you barely needed to leave it. The owner Jessica was seriously the sweetest person and very responsive. I highly recommend this place!

Loved it!!!
The house is lovely and Jessica is an amazing person. On my first night there, I got overwhelmed with my kids and family trying to leave for dinner, that I ended up locking the keys in the house. Jessica was super nice and helpful with the situation. She was involved with the entire process and very easy to contact and talk with. The rest of my trip was amazing an uneventful. I will definitely keep this listing in mind for my next trip. I highly recommend this house for your vacation.

Family Cozy!
We absolutely loved the family environment to the home itself and neighbors! Many great amenities to enjoy with addition to the home rental. My family and I loved it and we look forward to coming back! Additionally, the host was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to answer any questions and was very honest about everything.

Hello Shannon, my name is Jessica. We have done some renovations since taking over ownership and I think you will find it much more spacious! Although we are not able to do anything about the proximity of the house behind us, we've created a new patio area that you can enjoy, so there's no need to be in the back of the house! Grandchildren Halloween trip
The home is cute and quaint. Parking is not good for 2 trucks and 2 golf carts but we improvised and used the extra parking at ocean lakes and problem solved. It is a very busy little street something I’ve never really dealt with in the past so my grands couldn’t really ride the bikes in front of the home... but all in all we had a great time and look forward to next year. Wanda is very attentive and answers quickly with any questions or concerns. She was also able to work with me with the payment schedule!

Not happy at all with place
Owner needs a new cleaning service. No toilet paper, No sheets on any of the beds, dishes were dirty, grill was gross, trash under the beds. My children had splinters in their feet from the front porch. Will not be staying here again.

In the renter's contract information it states that renters are to provide all paper products. Also the renter's contract states that renters are to bring there own linen, and leave the-house per a departure list. This renter left house trashed, dirty dishes in dishwashers, candy wraps and candy under the beds, and coke bottle under the couch, dirty diaper in bedroom trash can, and a bloody mattress pad. Couch had chips under the cushions. Also if renters use the grill, the renters are to clean the grill after they use it. This renter never called me with any complains during their stay. i ask all renters to call me immediately if there we any problems. i wouldn't rent to these people again.

Enjoyable Stay
The space was great for my husband and myself. We loved having a little getaway at Wanda’s. She was great with communication and description is accurate. The space would accommodate a family with smaller children as well. When reading the reviews keep in mind this is a older home so it’s not going to be some new luxurious hotel, but it is clean and cozy - so glad we chose to stay! Very happy with our experience!

Too expensive for what you get. We expected it to be small but not nasty.
Would not rent again unless updates are done and a complete cleaning. There were literally clipped toenails in one if the chairs. Old cheetos and m and m in the floor along with dust. I know it humid there but the mold and mildew was awful. I spent a whole day cloroxing and sanitizing the bathrooms and kitchen and beds before my family could stay there. Financially we didnt have a choice. The bed we slept in and a couple of black spiders on the mattress cover and some other kind of bug. We do have bites but I'm praying its sand fleas. We are a hardworking family with one budgeted vacation together a year. Our accommodations on this one was not good. We made the best of it. My daughter and her husband rented one similar and it had obviously been cleaned. We cooked and grilled at there rental mostly. The owner of the property is really nice and I liked our communication. I do not want her feelings hurt but we would like our deposit back. I have never complained on any stay there. I've never sent a complaint on anything. I actually feel bad sending this message. But this is for the next family that might stay in that rental. Especially if they have small children. There is no excuse for uncleanliness.

I never heard once that there was any problems during the week she stayed. I have the house sprayed every quarter for bugs. I have a cleaning person cleaning after every stay since I do not live in Ocean Lakes. I appreciate her letting me know about the cleaning.

Clean and plenty of room for us (3 adults and 4 children) , great location --walking distance to beach. Ocean lakes is such a fun place to stay, this is our second time here and the kids keep asking to come back. We really enjoyed our stay

Great vacation
Wanda was easy to reach and very responsive before and during our stay. We had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen to cook with. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. No complaints and we would stay again.

NEVER AGAIN!
I would not recommend this property unless you are willing to drastically lower your standards. Unit smelled horrible; pocket door in one bedroom didn't work; curtain used for a door in one bedroom offered zero privacy; back door drags so badly we were unable to open it even halfway. Owner was totally non-responsive to issue she failed to notify us about until the day before our scheduled arrival. Issue was "the master bathroom toilet doesn't flush real good." Only suggestion she offered: "you can cancel if you want to". Really, THE DAY BEFORE scheduled arrival!

I’m very sorry that this lady was unhappy. I called to tell her about the toilet. I told her that I couldn’t get it fixed before her stay because the problem was under the floor. She was mad that I couldn’t get another plumber before she arrived. Ocean Lakes only let certain contractors in Ocean Lakes. I did offer a full refund before her stay because of the toilet problem because I didn’t want her to be disappointed. She did not call me during her stay. Not sure what the smell was. This is an older property and we try to get problems fixed that we know about. Owner

Good way to Spend the Week
We always have such a great time. The house is relaxing and easy to get setup for the week. It's so convenient to the beach and pool area. We never have to leave because there's so much to do. Wanda is so easy to work with and is very responsive to emails and calls. We will stay again!

Small & Dated
Wanda was wonderful to work with, and addressed all questions/concerns quickly. Although some updates have been made, The property needs some attention, and a thorough deep cleaning. We never went barefoot... We had 4 adults and two small children, and the property worked, but was small (the pictures are taken at great angles). We loved the outdoor shower! It made sand control so much easier. The master bedroom and bathroom are great! But, if you’re not the one staying in it, here’s what to expect: The other bathroom is super small - no adult could fit in the tub comfortably. The two small rooms: one has a curtain as a door and is right off of the 2nd bath/kitchen area so depending on your party, it could be loud (we had a toddler). The other small room has a sliding door (right at kitchen also), and is roadside (loud) and bright (street/porch lights). It is an ok property, as long as you know what to expect.

We enjoyed our stay in Ocean Lakes again this year! This home was just right for us, being all one level it accommodates those with mobility issues. Wanda was very friendly and easy to work with, quickly responding to our questions! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect for a weekend getaway
Stayed her to celebrate my 30th birthday with my husband and close friends. Easy to book, easy to find and was all we needed. The only complaint I have is that the water in the showers never would get hot, and if you tried to adjust, it would turn freezing cold. Wanda was wonderful to work with and was very polite & understanding when I called her so late when we checked in(we were having issues figuring the lockbox) We really enjoyed our stay and it was very nice!!

Spring Break Vacation

This was a very nice house for the price. The owner is wonderful and reasonable. We didn't get to spend much time in the house, because of tournaments. I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this house and community to anyone.

Cute, Convenient House
Great little house in a fun "campground." 3 small bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. Very clean. We had 4 adults and 2 children stay in the house. It was a little tight, but since we really just needed a place to eat and rest, it was perfect for us. It was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. Cable television and internet for our down times...and we could all take showers without running out of hot water! The campground is really more like its own little town. We walked the beach, played mini golf, went swimming in the pool and played in the arcade. We had a lot of fun. Overall, great house, great campground, great location!
