Charming
The location was perfect for us as we were at a family gathering in St Clair. My father grew up going to the church before it became lodging and we stayed here about 13 years ago. The windows are beautiful! Could use w little updating as it’s exactly as it was when we were here last (even w kitchen outlet still didn’t work). I would stay here again because of its charm and town.

Fun Girls weekend
This is such a unique property. We enjoyed our stay but it is a little odd to have separate bedrooms upstairs that did not have a bathroom. Since we only had half of the VRBO booked it did require some planning to think about having a key upstairs to unlock the downstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Next time I think I would book the entire property to feel more private. Otherwise, great space and well kept. Very enjoyable.

Unique space
We had a fun family gathering in this unique, pet-friendly space. The beds were comfortable and there were good spaces for games, a puzzle, and cooking. Be careful when you read the description so you understand which bedrooms are included in one or the other suite. There is nothing in St. Clair (except a nice park and playgrounds), but you're only 15 minutes from Mankato. Hosts were very responsive.

Fun Stay
The Belltower is a quaint, unique get away for friends and family. The stained- glasses windows in the main room are amazing and the beds were all very comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire with friends and cooking dinner in the furnished kitchen. The hosts have many small amenities including coffee, tea and cocoa! I definelty recommend a visit!

Very nice stay
The Belltower suites was a great place to stay. The suite was very unique and nice. It was comfortable and the kids really enjoyed it (due to the weather, we got in a game of Life). I didn't cook while there, but there seemed like it had all the utensils I would have needed. The hosts were very accommodating. I'll mention a couple of things that might help others looking to stay here. It's listed as 3 bedrooms but it feels like you have 4 bedrooms available: 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs. My kids liked this because everyone got their own room. The rooms upstairs are physically separate and has a separate key. This worked fine for us since my teenage daughter was up there, but I would have been less comfortable with it had it just been younger kids (like having them stay across the hall at a hotel rather than having adjoining rooms).

The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved having plenty of room to spread out and relax on our trip. We were visiting my son who attends college in Saint Peter. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience and near the Twin Cities
Our group included my husband, daughter and her friend and our two dogs. The property was convenient and was refinished beautifully. I had looked at a few converted churches and this particular one was redone extremely well - making the rooms warm and welcoming with comfortable furniture and still keeping the unique qualities, such as the stained glass and shelving, of the church. We used the gas fireplace and used the big table to work on a puzzle. The king-sized bed in the master bedroom was a treat. The owners managed to make an expansive space warm and welcoming. The girls stayed up in the loft, each had their own full-sized bed, and loved being able to open the windows that overlooked the main space to talk to us. It's so hard to find a place that accepts dogs, let alone two, and ours had a wonderful stay. It’s stressful leaving them behind with a sitter. We would definitely book again.

Highly Recommend!!
It was a beautiful space and super comfortable to hang out in. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoys meals in. We highly recommend this place to others and will stay again if we come back to the area.

Relaxing family vacation
We were looking for a place to get away from crowds. This was perfect. Plenty of space to spread out. Fireplace and large TV. Fire pit and corn hole for family fun. All the basics to make meals.

Original Property
This was a unique piece of property. 5 of us stayed and really enjoyed the layout. The property was easy to get to and in a very quaint neighborhood, close enough to a lot of meal locations and entertainment, but tucked away enough to be quiet. Easy to check in and out. No communication issues with management. They were very easy to work with.

Family Xmas gathering
We rented the whole place for a family Xmas! Had plenty of room! And had a wonderful time! Very clean place and very nice. Property owner were great to work with. Would rent again!

Wonderful experience!
The unit is so beautiful. Yes there is a shared entrance way but that didn’t bother us at all. Everything you need, and then some, was provided. Beautifully decorated. Extremely clean and new. Excellent owner with very quick response time. Our little dog was allowed and very comfortable. Everyone in our group had a ton of room. Our only challenge was only having one bathroom but we managed. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We will be booking again next year.

Very clean, roomy and unique property. There was an interesting part that to get to the upstairs room / loft you have to go through a common space witch could be awkward in some instances. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a great time.

Nice house
The listing is a bit confusing. It is 2 units (with a shared entry area , a shared upstairs landing area, and shared outside space. My party had the whole house and that worked out quite well. Just be aware if you book one suite you could have some shared areas. There was an issue with knowing if we had the whole area, but Taeler honored her word. She was good to work with. There were lots of nice added things (snacks, DISH, game, and extra tables). We lost power the first night due to a storm, but Taeler kept us updated when power would be restored. Kitchens and bathrooms are updated (shower a bit small). Having both suites gave us the room we needed for our group. The patio and fire pit are near the road which was a bit hard with little ones. Plenty of parking and yard space for games. And a park not too far behind the property. Overall a great space with both suites. Cute town and not too far from Mankato.

Perfect for families!
We loved this property! Safe neighborhood. A children's park in our backyard. Beautiful patio for grilling or sitting out in the morning to have a cup of coffee. It was all so lovely! The space itself was super for our family and accommodated us very well. We really loved the big meeting space in the kitchen/dining/living room area. It was so nice to have our family enjoying the space with one another. Taeler really makes this property feel like a home. She makes it feel special with all of her touches to detail and the extra amenities like extension cords for charging phones on the nightstands, nightlights for the littles in the bathroom, snacks, laundry and dishwashing supplies and the Keurig in the entryway for a quick cup of coffee as we left or arrived. She was helpful, prompt and sweet any time we had a question. What a SUPER VRBO to spend time in! Would definitely use again!!!! Loved it!!! Thanks for the memories, Taeler!!! <3

Wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the historic bell tower. It was charming and clean and the property manager was super helpful and accommodating! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because having only 1 bathroom for 6 adults was difficult to manage at times...would love to see an additional half bath added in the common area...but realize this may be a big expense. Would definitely stay again! Such a cool place! Love the stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings!! :)

Great for a family gathering!
Wonderful space for a family to get together. With both suites, there was plenty of space for everyone to gather or break away. Everyone was comfortable. The kids loved the nearby park and playgrounds. Hosts were very accommodating and the space was well stocked with all the essentials. We had a great stay!

Great Getaway
Our gaming group met up for the second year in a row at the Belltower Suites and had a terrific time. The suites are ideal for a group of our size (12-14), and it has everything one could need. Taeler was very accommodating and helped provide us with the extra tables and chairs we required. All the new folks raved about the venue. We will definitely be back next year!

Small town charm
I have to admit I was confused by the fact that I thought I rented a 6 bedroom 2 bath space. When I checked in it is actually 2 suits, and I had only rented 1. The space is very nice and very clean. We were in suite 2. As with many old spaces you must walk thru 1 bedroom to get to the next. This can be awkward if you are with multiple couples. The upstairs 3 bedrooms are shared space with the other suite, depending on how many bedrooms you need. Ultimately the people in both suites can access the upstairs bedrooms. I am hoping the owner will add mirrors in the bedrooms because there is only 1 bathroom so it was hard to share the mirror. The suite was really well equipped with a full kitchen and lots of extras including coffee, snacks,bottled water, laundry detergent and dryer sheets. There is no grocery store in town so this was really nice to have. We ate in the next little town Pemberton at the Backyard Bar and grill for dinner and Jamie’s for Sunday breakfast. Both were very good small town bar cafe type places. All in all we have a great stay in a very safe small town. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful and nostalgic with plenty of space.
We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the spacious living area with the beautiful stained glass windows. The children had fun peeking down over the living area from the loft. The beds were comfortable and in the morning we enjoyed coffee out on the front patio. We took pictures by the big bell and imagined all the people walking up the steps when it was a church. The booking itself was confusing. The Bell Tower appears to be one living area based on pictures and list of bed/bath and amenities. Think it would help to have separate pictures of each suite with number of bed/baths. The VRBO description listed 2 bathrooms so assumed we had 2 bathrooms. But it meant 1 bathroom per suite.
