This hotel certainly deserves its 4star rating.
We had a very pleasant stay in this lovely hotel. The staff are very welcoming and professional. Certainly can't fault the cleanliness throughout. I would thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful clean hotel. Room very stylish and comfortable. Staff very attentive. The house keeping staff were very efficient, cleaning the room and topping up items. Dining room staff were fab as weee reception staff

For a 5 star rating, the quality was missing overall from food to service. The staff all round seemed stressed always and that was transparent in their duties, which meant the customer suffered. I wont be going back.

Have happily stayed at La Place Hotel (our 'go to' hotel in Jersey) several times over the years and it was great to see General Manager, Tim Brooke, still at the helm running a superb team of staff at such a delightful venue. Everything up to it's usual VERY high standards and was a welcome first break for us 'Post-COVID'! Accommodation - top notch and food was again gorgeous. Silvio and all his colleagues were always friendly, cheerful and as attentive as you could possibly wish for. 'And', on reception, was especially friendly & helpful and a credit to the business. Thank you all, and in the words of 'Arnie'....WE WILL BE BACK!!

My wife and I could not fault the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They took time to look after us and gave an excellent service. Of note the room and food was of high quality. We look forward to returning.

Lovely countryside hotel - everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean and attractive public areas. Very well run, helpful and friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Food very good in both restaurant and bar. Enjoyed the swimming pool too. The perfect weather helped make it all the more enjoyable.

Hotel la place or should i say hotel la fantastic!
Fantastic stay af an amazing place. Should be 5 star +! Nothing too much trouble for staff. Complimentary transfers from and to the airport. Staff even let us check in early. Jersey beautiful too. Will be back

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights in a deluxe room which was extremely comfortable with a huge bed and seating area. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming, and always took the time to say hello. We would definitely recommend La Place as the place to stay when visiting Jersey

Lovely La Place
Hotel La Place is one of our favourite places to stay on Jersey. The hotel itself is beautifully located amid tranquil countryside, near St Aubin. The staff are really lovely and very helpful. The rooms are extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. In the room we stayed in, my only issue might be that the room got very hot and there wasn't, as far as I could tell, any air conditioning. There is a lovely pool that is central to the hotel, overlooked by many of the rooms, which you can use at your leisure. I'd wholeheartedly recommend La Place to families and couples alike. I'd say the clientele when we started were mostly couples in their 60s or 70s but there were also a few families. Not too many kids, it seemed. We ourselves are still (just about) in our 40s. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!

This is a very comfortable hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would particularly mention the cleaning staff - our room and all the communal rooms are very clean and tidy. The food is good. The pool is not heated, except for a few months over the summer: this would be our only slight criticism as most guests were of the opinion it was too cold to use.

Amazing Hotel and staff
We had an amazing stay La Place. Amenities are superb as is the service and food. Staff are very friendly and professional and deserve extra praise. Spotlessly clean. In a quiet setting but only a 3 minute drive to St Aubin and the beach. Will definitely return.

this hotel was tucked away in a quiet rural area but with easy access to beautiful beaches and little towns. The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate and well-stocked. The food was delicious.

Excellent stay
We have stayed several times before and the service has always been excellent. The food in the restaurant is fresh and tasty and the staff look after you very well. I will return and and would recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Jersey.

The location was lovely and the meals were very good, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was disappointing from being served a frozen bread roll at dinner, having my husbands scrambled eggs served after he'd finished his breakfast (they'd been forgotten), having housekeeping leave our bedroom door bolted open all day whilst we were out, to the final insult of being held up on departure because there were charges on our bill for drinks we had paid for, and which we had asked the waitress to check had NOT been put on our bill, due to the fact that the bartender was nowhere to be found and we had to find a waitress to take our cash. We found the staff unfriendly and unapologetic in all cases & for this reason would not return or recommend. Shame on them - spoilt our break which was for our Ruby Anniversary

We had great experience: - I contacted them before our arrival date. The staff, Karina, Raisa and the Hotel Manager Craig were excellent in giving us information we needed. - pick up from the airport and check in was very easy and was friendly - stay was pleasant - service for our meals and drinks was friendly, of high quality with excellent attitude - housekeeping staff can not be faulted in the way cleaned our room - check out was easy and drop off at the airport was efficiently handled. OVERALL OUR STAY EXPERIENCE AT THEHOTEL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS.

Lovely cottages, great staff.
Lovely cottages, staff at the hotel are brilliant and so helpful. There was an on going issue with a drainage smell that didn’t get resolved but apart from that a really good stay. St Aubin is walkable and has some great places to eat and drink, otherwise it’s a bus which stops outside or a cab. Lots to do on the island so probably worth renting a car while you’re there.
