I would definitely visit again!!
Mrs. Wade was a very nice host. She was there to greet us and checked in periodically to be sure we were ok. The home was lovely - really nice and clean. Well equipped with everything we needed including beach accessories and towels which I found to be a nice plus. Our family fit comfortably in both suites which was nicely segregated in the event you only wanted one of the units . We will definitely plan to visit again.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed renting from Jean-Marie and Russell. They are a lovely couple who made us feel welcome from the time we booked. They answered multiple questions about the area, helped with taxis, and gave helpful recommendations. Jean-Marie even picked up our grocery order and had it waiting for us when we arrived. We rented both the Hibiscus and Pineapple suite with our adult children and it was a great layout for two groups or a family. With the Fairmont being closed, the walk to Horseshoe Bay was a long 20 min walk for us so we mainly took taxis. Bermuda is a beautiful place to visit and kept us completely entertained for over a week. We can't wait to come back!

Serenity!
Wade's Garden Inn is the perfect place to find comfort and beauty in and out of the home. This is the place for a perfect vacation located relatively close to beaches and golf courses if you choose. An early morning walk through the beautiful garden which has a hidden gem at every turn made my day. I found our host to be generous with her hospitality. She truly is a super host.

Sweet Oasis!
Very clean property and hosts were accommodating & friendly. They were at the property to assist us during check-in process and provided fast communication & turnaround. The 2 bathrooms and patio were definitely a bonus for us!

Great stay and amazing hosts!
We loved our stay at Wade's Garden Inn. The property was just as advertised and our host, Jean-Marie went above and beyond to make our stay so nice. We booked both suites for our group of 3 friends, which was plenty of space to spread out. Jean-Marie made up one of the rooms with two beds instead of one king bed and then we had a queen bed in the other bedroom. Since it's technically two suites in one, we even had two kitchens, which was a nice bonus. The air conditioning units in each room worked super well, so we were nice and comfortable indoors during the hot summer weather of Bermuda. Jean-Marie was so responsive leading up to and during our trip. She answered all my questions, picked up our grocery order for us prior to arrival, and arranged a Taxi to pick us up at the airport. She was a pleasure to chat with while we were there as well, giving us great advice and tips for things to see and do around the island. We had such a nice time at her place and if we go back to Bermuda, we would love to stay there again!

Extremely happy with our stay at Wade’s Garden Inn! The host, Jean-Marie, was exceptional. She reached out before our arrival and arranged to have a taxi pick us up and also picking up our online order for the nearby grocery store! This was so helpful to our family given we have young kids. When we arrived she presented us with a local favorite drink, a dark n’ stormy. She was super helpful with getting around - gave us a quick but thorough introduction to the bus system - and even more helpfully had bus tokens and tickets available for purchase. Walked us through how to get to Horseshoe Bay Beach (20 minute walk or $9 cab ride…with little ones we used the latter). She has storage bin filled with beach toys and snorkeling gear that kept the kids occupied at the beach. Also walked us through local necessities - the nearby grocery store and restaurants (Wok Express is across the street and is great! More than Chinese food and a great resource for beer/liquor). As per the pictures, the actual unit is huge and well appointed. A big space for the little ones to run around. When we weren’t at the beach or site seeing there’s plenty of TVs and a huge backyard with a beautiful garden. There’s also a patio space which has a grill (which we used). It was so handy to have a kitchen for our picky eaters. We will be back!

Bermuda Getaway
Wade's Inn was a perfect fit for us. This was our third trip to Bermuda and while we started this one with no scooter or Twizy the first two days we had no problem with nearby bus service and walking to Horseshoe Bay (after Covid Cleared). It has always been my experience that the Bermuda people are some of the friendliest you will run across and this was no exception. Our Host and Hostess were friendly and discreet. They made themselves available for questions in person as well as via text and email. In fact, Jean-Marie helped arrange our groceries to be delivered before we arrived! We had concerns about travelling due to Covid and the Bermuda government had strict protocols that had to be followed. We thought that the testing that was required at the airport after landing would be a long drawn out process and it turned out to be one of the most efficient (almost enjoyable) operations I have experienced. In short, Wade's Inn was perfect for us. My wife and I had one suite and her sister had the other one and each had its own bathroom and kitchenette and shared a common room. We hope to return to Bermuda and hope that Wade's Inn will be available when we return! Thank you Jean-Marie and Russell!!

Wonderful vacation at Wade's Garden Inn!
We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Wade's Garden Inn. The accommodations were perfect for us; my wife and myself in one apartment, and cousin in the other. Each with our own bedroom, bath and kitchenette. We shared a common lounge area with TV, perfect for relaxing and reflecting on the days activities, and discussing the next days plans. Each apartment had it's own private entrance. The accommodations were immaculate and well appointed with everything you need, including beach chairs and towels! The outdoor areas were beautiful as well, and even included a gas grill to enjoy your evening meal on the terrace. Our hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating, giving us suggestions and helpful advice when needed. We were within walking distance to several beaches, including Horseshoe Bay Beach, and also to the local Marketplace, the Railway Trail Path and the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. We also enjoyed a walking food tour of Hamilton, and visited the Royal Naval Dockyard area. We are already looking forward to a return trip!

exceeded all expectations
the suites were more than enough space for our family of 3. i highly recommend the wade's garden inn for families and couples. the bedrooms were big and both with en-suite bathes. we used the kitchenette for a number of meals and it worked perfectly. the inn is located centrally and an easy ride (bus or taxi) to almost anything. and horseshoe bay is only a short (and beautiful) walk away. moreover jean marie, owner, is amazing. she's more than an inn-keeper or concierge (and she is those things). she is a friend. always available with advice and suggestions. her smiles and care for her guests are genuine and more than welcome. jean marie helped make our stay special and we would gladly return.

Perfect!!!!
We had the perfect vacation at Jean-Marie’s apartment. It was great for our family of four, with a separate space for our 4 year old twins. The beds are comfy, the apartment is super clean and her garden / flowers are beautiful! You can walk to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen, horseshoe bay! It’s also right on the bus line that we rode every day. Jean-Marie is so sweet - she helped me plan the best vacation ever and even gave my twins a little toy they still play with every day, lol. Will 100% stay here again. Perfection! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Fabulous place to stay
You will be glad you booked at Wade's Garden Inn. It is the perfect accommodation for 2 couples. Each has their own bathroom and kitchen, with a shared living room. You can walk to beautiful Horseshoe Bay Beach, a grocery store, and the bus stop. Jean Marie conveniently leaves bus tokens for purchase in the room and is readily available for suggestions of activities and directions. A nice quiet place to come hone to after a day of activities. Book it!

Delightful!
This was such a great spot. I was traveling with my two younger cousins and wanted to make sure that had their own room and space. The accommodations exceeded my expectations with the amount of space. Everything was in place to make you feel at home. And Mrs Jean-Marie and Mr Russell were very lovely and attentive hosts. They were always available to answer any question or concern. They also provided all the information you needed to navigate around the island. And Mrs Jean-Marie was sweet enough to give us a ride to Warwick Bay one day. When I return to Bermuda I definitely plan to stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone going to the island.

One of the best family vacations ever!
Jean-Marie and Russell were the best hosts we’ve ever had at a vacation rental, and the property, location, accommodations, weather, crowds, attractions, etc exceeded all our expectations! Wonderful hospitality on a beautiful island!
Apartment was ideal for two couples complete with private bedrooms/kitchen area and well stocked+ with whatever was needed for our stay - both in the apartment and any outside activities (beach chairs/mat/noodles/snorkeling) .... nothing was missing! Common area was well stocked with bus schedules, menus, and various reference books about the island, vegetation, and birds. Very clean throughout the apartment. The best part of our stay - in addition to the beauty of the island - was our hosts, Jean-Marie & Russell! They are very welcoming people to share a laugh with or just sit and talk. They always made sure we had what we needed and provided us with suggestions of what to see on the island - and how to get there. They were also helpful with info with Covid restrictions. This is a must-stay place and more private and personable than a hotel. Definitely on our list for a future return trip! Wish we could have stayed longer with them😊!

Arrived as strangers, left as family!
I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about the amazing duo that is Jean-Marie and Russell Wade, the owners of Wade's Garden Inn. To start, the communication with Jean-Marie prior to our arrival was prompt, warm and welcoming. It was my birthday weekend and she was extremely helpful in helping my husband organize a treat for me! Upon arrival to the Island we were greeted by the charming and island expert Mr. Russell who patiently took us around the island most of our trip! His stories, explanations and particular care shown to our 3 year old daughter made the trip special. The grounds and accommodations at the Inn were flawless. Rooms were clean and bonus points for a full cleaning and refreshing given to the rooms after a few days of staying. The location is superb and makes traveling alone easy. We didn't realize it going in but this rental is rated #1 for BNBs on the Island. One nights stay and you will quickly see why! Kudos to you both for creating such a warm, unobtrusive vibe that made us feel like extended family members when we said goodbye. My daughter literally cried as she waved goodbye to her beloved "pineapple" room. Be sure to ask Mr. Russell about his personal stamp on the Island and Mrs. Jean-Marie about her gardening expertise! Can't wait to come by for a visit next time we're on the Island! Xoxo.

Nice house for a family vacation.
My son and I along with my friends spent a week here on vacation visiting Bermuda. The hosts Jean- Marie and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The house is located close to the beach, bus stop and grocery store. I would highly recommend this place to those who visiting Bermuda.

We celebrated our 25th weddding anniversary with our 3 grown daughters at Wades Garden Inn In Southhampton, Bermuda. The inn was perfect for all of us. Jean Marie and Russell Wade are wonderful and thoughtful hosts. They provided helpful information about the area Including getting to the inn, a tour to Gibb’s lighthouse, a stop at the supermarket, bus tickets, pamphlets and beach towels. The kitchens are nicely stocked, the bedrooms are spacious with beautiful views, the patio has lovely trees and flowers. We went to Horseshoe Bay Beach by shuttle and took the bus to Hamilton. We also rented a scooter to pick up groceries and get takeout from nearby restaurants. We dined at the Waterlot Inn, Fourways Inn, Boundary bar and grill and a wonderful Trattoria in Hamilton. We couldn’t think of a better vacation for our family, so glad to find this gem. Bermuda truly is Heaven on Earth.

Great Vacation
We had a great stay at Wades Garden Inn. We found the rental very convenient to transportation and the Fairmount shuttle. The house was super clean and the grounds beautifully landscaped. This place has everything you need for your vacation. The Wade’s are wonderful hosts and really go out of their way for guests.

Beautiful home and host family. Ideal location and amazing, fruit-filled garden. Perfect space for Two couples! Easy access to pick up Twizys and dine at BLU for a sunset meal. Bonus - Russ also has a taxi and accommodates requests. We’ll be back!

We have been to Bermuda many times and this is one of best properties we have been to. Rooms and shared spaces are lovely. It is plenty of space and you have a kitchen. The location is perfect. Walk to the Water Lot, and the bus and the Southampton shuttle. Our hosts - Jean-Marie and Russell were awesome ! They were helpful and very knowledgeable when needed and unobtrusive otherwise. Russell is an amazing tour guide. The garden is lovely. Cannot say enough great things about Wade’s Garden Inn !

Wonderfully decorated 2 bedroom suites centrally located in Southampton
Just spent 10 wonderful days in Bermuda.Our accommodations were fantastic-we had both suites.Jean-Marie and Russell are wonderful hosts,full of local knowledge and excellent suggestions.The suites are very well appointed and extremely clean with everything that one requires to feeling at home.Their home is well located just off Middle Street,minutes walk to great beaches,eateries,grocery store and bus stops.Major bonuses are the Fairmont shuttle that conveys anyone free from Middle Sreet to Horseshoe Bay from dawn to dusk and Russell who has his own taxi service which was greatly used by us as he was really punctual.Picking us up from the airport saved us the problem of organising transport especially when jet-lagged..We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone vacationing in Bermuda.

Bermudiful vacation at Wades Garden Inn
Beautiful Island, beautiful weather and beautiful people. We stayed 7 days at Wades Garden inn. The inn was the perfect set up. My wife and I had our own suite. My 20 year old son and two friends had the other suite. As mentioned in previous reviews the inn is perfectly located for beaches, dining and sight seeing. I rented a moped but also used the public transportation that was very easy, clean and reasonably priced. We have traveled throughout the caribbean in the past and I can honestly say this was by far our best vacation. Beyond the absolute beauty of the Island the thing that stood out the most was just how friendly the people of Bermuda are and Jean Marie and Russell were no exception. We had plenty of privacy but the convenience of them being a phone call or quick shout across the garden away if we had any questions. The inn was very comfortable and very clean. Jean Marie and Russell thank you so much for your hospitality and a 100% stress free vacation. We'll be back next year!

The best place we could have enjoyed Bermuda from for a week
Wade’s Garden Inn was the perfect spot to explore and enjoy the island from. It’s location in Southampton was ideal. We were able to walk to the grocery store and various stunning beaches, great restaurants, and even a scooter rental shop. The inn was nicely between both ends of the island so day trips were a breeze, and the bus system was easy to navigate. Jean-Marie and Russel were marvelous hosts, providing a tour of the island, everything we needed for cooking, towels, and ample A.C. I would especially recommend staying here over a resort or hotel. I would hope to enjoy a stay at the inn again in the future.

It was amazing experience to stay at Wades Inn.
Staying at Wades Inn was very positive experience by itself. Jean-Marie took very good care of us. Helped us navigate the island by ourselves. Jean-Marie and Russel were exceptionally helpful. I would definitely recommend Wades Inn and I would stay at Wades Inn when I go back to Bermuda.

Dear Viktoriya, It was so much fun having you and Nitya staying with us. My friends and I were so happy to have you join us on the annual Palm Sunday walk put on by the National Trust. Great experience and great owners.
We really enjoyed our stay, the location was very convenient to the grocery store, restaurants, bus stops, and the Fairmont hotel. Our rooms were very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We had everything needed to clean, brooms, mops dustpan. Plenty of towels. Jean Marie always checked to make sure we had everything we needed. My family was even invited over for dessert on Christmas night. We enjoyed our stay. The location allowed us to use all of the amenities of the Fairmont Hotel, which was really a bonus because at Christmas time most of the businesses close around 5 pm. We were able to go movies, roast Smores, play soccer golf as well as go to tea time.
