What a awesome location
This unit on the top floor offered unbelievable views. The best unexpected part was it is in the midst of a totally pedestrian only zone with shops , restaurants, pharmacy and a grocery store beside the front door. We rented a car and never used it. Daily 5 minute walk to the train station and off we went to the Cinque Terre towns. A few blocks away and we were on the waterfront. Ferry ride to Portofino was so pretty. We don't speak Italian but Google Translate and super friendly people made it all a breeze. Most natives can speak some English and love it if you try some Italian. It was simple the best European vacation we have ever had. Be sure to add Sestri Levante to a local town to visit also by train. Laura and Roberto are so easy to work with and this home is very clean and quiet. My wife and I are 70 and my daughter and husband are mid 40s and we were able to navigate all of the towns easily. We plan on going back again !

Lovely apartment in perfect location
The apartment is spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The views from the large terrace are amazing. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance to shops, markets, restaurants and waterfront. The hosts went above and beyond assisting us when we needed transportation to the train station. (The train station is a short walk but my sister has pulmonary problems so we required transportation there) I have no negatives about the apartment. The only suggestion I have would be to have bath soap or body wash available. But all we had to do was go downstairs to the market to purchase it. All other supplies were furnished-dishwasher soap, detergent, paper products etc. I will stay here again if I ever get the chance to return. Many thanks to Laura and her brother for the assistance and kindness.

Romantic week in Santa Margherita
My wife and I stayed at Laura’s apartment for 2 weeks in October. The apartment was exactly as the pictures describe. The location was fantastic. We took the train from Milan and it was just a short walk with our luggage from the train station. When you walk out the door of the apartment you are right in the middle of a lovely street with restaurants and shops. It is just w few minute walk to the ferry to Portofino , which we took twice , and a quick walk to the train for our evening in Camogli. When we arrived at the apartment we were meet by Luca, who is Laura’s nephew and he could not have been nicer to us. He walked us thru the apartment and showed us everything. We spent many evenings on the beautiful patio eating our fresh pasta we bought downstairs while we listened to the beautiful church bells from the cathedral down the street. If you are looking for a relaxing stay on the Italian Rivera you should book your time in Santa Margherita at Laura’s apartment……IT WAS PERFECT !

Perfect!
The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was clean, beautiful, stocked with high quality utensils, dishes, pans etc. Everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The location is amazing because it is right in the center, top floor with an elevator and you can't hear any noise from the outside because of the sound insulated windows. Can't even hear the church bells! The view from the huge patio is breathtaking. The owner was always available if we had any questions. We will definitely return!

Fantastic apartment!
This was a fantastic apartment! Centrally located in the center of everything. We walked from the train (even with over packing) the apartment was clean, cozy, beautiful and appreciated after long days! The elevator was perfect to have as well. My only suggestion would to have beach towels. If you can, book the chair rental in advance at the beaches. They do have free beaches that were fine but we needed to buy an umbrella, towels and mat. The store to buy that stuff is right down stairs. There is also a grocery store right downstairs which was very convenient! This was at the end of our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy, we appreciated the beautiful & comfortable extra space. Also the terrace was fantastic! We were lucky enough to see fireworks from there:) If you can book this apartment- do it!

Perfect spot
Very convenient and beautiful spot with all my husband and I needed for a few night stay. Us Americans can confirm this spot has very European-style bedding…thin and smaller mattress and pillows without much support.

We loved this apartment in SML. Perfect location for vacation without a car.
We love SML and this apartment made a perfect 'home' for our two week stay. We got a friendly helpful welcome from the owner's brother Roberto. Everything was clean & comfortable, we were able to use the terrace some days even on a winter holiday. Great layout and views. Easy to get to the train, bus and boats for our trips out hiking. Short walks to get supplies or go to restaurants. We hope to be back again soon! Thank you Laura

Wonderful Holiday in Santa
Beautiful property, centrally located only 3 min walk from the beach. Supermarket down the street, many cafes and restaurants nearby, 7 min walk to the train station. Apartment is very light and airy and wonderfully maintained (pictures represent it perfectly). Any questions one might have are answered swiftly by the host.

Fabulous apartment
This was the first time we used VRBO, but must say the apartment exceeded our expectations. The area is fabulous with restaurants and stores all within walking distance. You get a true sense of Italy and all it has to offer. So much more than staying in a hotel. As we closed the door behind us, we were thinking about when we would come back.

Quality & Charme
A delightful penthouse, bright, spacious and with spectacular views. Furnished with contemporary taste, to deliver an uplifting space easy to keep, wonderful to enjoy. The generous balcony is the focus of the apartment and saves you from long, sweaty sessions on the beach to achieve the desired tan. Laura is a courteous, prompt and helpful host. Wonderful stay.

Fabulous apartment in a gorgeous square, in the centre of town.
Had a fabulous week in Santa, our favourite town on the Italian Riveira. The apartment is very comfiortable and beautifully furnished, the terrace is wonderful for relaxing and dining. Public transport is excellent, and there is a reliable ferry service to other towns along the coast. We are already planning another trip in the autumn.
