Great, cozy stay with everything you need close by.
The Balcony overlooking the Ocean is worth the price! Great options on site: Pool, Basketball, Pickelball, Tennis courts and of course a few footsteps from an awesome beach if you just want to relax! Also very close to some great Food Kiosks on a neighboring Beach.

There are 2 elevators in the lobby and one of them was out of service. The worst part is the remaining elevator needed to be placed out of service also. When riding in the elevator you hear what sounds like chains slamming against the elevator and the elevator shaft. They have signs posted in the elevator and outside of it to keep the weight limit to a minimum. It also states that the security in the lobby would monitor and assist to which they did not help at all. Unfortunately I had to reduce my usage of the elevator to a minimum because I was literally scared to use it. I also had to wait in line at some points to get on the elevator and at that point people were definitely exceeding the weight limit. Scary situation especially when you are staying on the 9th floor. Also in the hallway on the ceiling there was exposed rebar that appeared to be rusted. Location wise it is great but due to these safety concerns I will not return.

The views from the balcony were amazing! The security personnel were super friendly. We really enjoyed the use of beach chairs and towels. The property on line details had warned about the elevators, not an issue. the condo grounds and pool were kept immaculate. I would definitely recommend this place.

The condo was great!!! Expedia was totally inept!!!! Their incompetence almost cost me a wonderful stay. There is no condo with the number t2@9, nobody knows where that is! It’s condo 902 and they never sent the code for the lockbox! I was able to get it straightened out the next day thanks to some great help from the condo owners!!

Excellent spot near the beach ⛱️
This is great apartment in nice gated community with pool and parking and some basketball courts. The complex is across the street from the beach. Literally 2mins. The elevators were ok they are odds and even. 1 of each set was always out but it wasn't any inconvenience. The staff is super friendly. It's located about 30-40 mins from SJU. Super easy drive especially if you take the toll road. There is supermarket across the road route 3 you can see from the unitl and shopping complex for all other thing. There are several restaurants within walking distance or if u want to be lazy you can drive. The host was very attentive. The unit is in a quiet section of the building so you can hear the waves at night and just enjoy and fall asleep. The apartment has all things you need washer and dryer. Plates silverware coffee maker toaster and blender. It has 1.5 bathroom.

This apartment was in an older complex which had clearly seen better days. The property was relatively well equipped. It was certainly functional but lacked even one ounce of charm.

This was a nice area plus the view of the ocean was a plus! Very close to a lot of restaurants and bars and beach. Worth the the money to stay

Good Stay for the Price
The apartment was as advertised and was clean. There was a sign in the bathroom that said white washcloths could not be used for makeup removal (or you will be charged) yet no dark colored ones were provided. The check-in process was quick and easy and the host was nice through messages. The apartment could use a little TLC. Numerous lightbulbs were burned out, drapes are hard to open and door to balcony does not close easily. I'm sure some of these things are a result of being so close to the ocean and aren't a huge deal, but could help the overall feel of the apartment. The bed quality was similar to a pullout in a living room. The center has a dip that my husband kept sinking into. The AC worked great and the view was awesome. As far as the building goes, it's pretty outdated. One of the elevators was out of order and the one that was operable was slow. It also stopped on the floor below us every single time we went down (not up) and there was no one ever there. We didn't use the amenities, but they seemed nice. Overall a good stay for the price.

Small condo but lovely view
Carmen was responsive to issues we encountered with our stay. Unit is dark and needs updating. It was missing several items listed on the booking. No grill, no ceiling fans, no beach towels, 2 beach chairs only, and hairdryer was broken. This unit should be listed as appropriate for 2 guests only as it is very small for me, my husband, and teen daughter. Only 2 bath towels available. No blanket or pillows available for pullout couch. Salt, pepper, coffee filters were available but no other seasonings or supplies. No detergent for washer. All of this being said, the view and location were lovely. Close to beach, ferry, and el yunque. Carmen was responsive and brought beach and bath towels, a new hair dryer, and offered to pay for the pillows we had to purchase.

Very clean
The apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was great! The only thing I did not like was that the apartment is on the 9th floor there’s 2 elevators, 1 for even numbers and 1 for odd numbers. When we arrived the only one working was the even numbers one. So each time we had to take the elevator to the 10th floor and walk down. When the other elevator was fixed they didn’t tell us. We noticed when we were leaving that the even numbers elevator was broken and the odd numbers were fix.

Dissatisfied bc Pool was out of service for a few days. Also they close the pool too early (7:00 pm) Information about the apartment is out of date regarding the things that are supposed to be in the apartment.

This property was not good because they didn’t have utensils for us to eat. The washer and dryer smelt like old mildew. The sink in the kitchen was stop up so only one side was working. The pool was close for the first two days that we was there and the elevator was not working so only one of them was working. Also it’s so hard to get an Uber or taxi in that area. I would never recommend that place to anyone to stay. After 8pm there isn’t no Uber it was ridiculous.

View and beach were beautiful. Condo is dark and worn. Floors were dirty. No real help from Host about useful info in regards to where anything is located, ex. Stores, restaurants. We got there too early to check in and nothing was opened close by. One elevator completely broken and the other one not too far behind.

Quick trip
The condo was beautiful and the view was even better. The condo was fully stocked for cooking and a beach day. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Luquillo area. I would suggest updating the check in instructions, as some things have changed and it was a little confusing.

Great place to stay
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much! The condo is just as pictured with the exception of blue paint in the bedroom. Lovely, quiet balcony with fantastic views. 5 minute walk to the beach or pool. Gated entrance/exit to beach with a shower at gate to rinse off. Brass Cactus Grill is within walking distance and has great food. The food kiosks are about a mile away but we drove there. Rain forest is 15 minutes and is amazing! You need a $2 ticket to get in which you can purchase on the website. You must purchase in advance. Grocery and drugstore are across the street from the condo. Great place to stay and close to everything in Luquillo.

Convenient location, steps from beautiful beach
Perfect location for lazy beach days, exactly one mile from awesome kiosks (we ate there for dinner each night), quick drive to El Yunque. Can’t beat the location. Great value.

Birthday in Luquillo
This was an amazing birthday getaway. In addition to the great location, Carmen made sure everything was taken care of before our visit. It was a close walk to eateries, the beach and a quick drive to a local Kiosko. I have nothing but great things to say about my trip. It was well worth it.

The view is lovely but I was disappointed with there not being an electric grill or fans in the apartment as were listed in the property guide. I also was unable to sleep for the majority of the trip due to the bed being way over worn out where you are basically falling out of it and the couch being no better so I actually resorted to the the tile floor for periods of time to sleep to make my back feel better. I'm 28 with no history of back pain so it was directly associated with the poor mattress. The kitchen has all of the equipment you could need but is very limited in regards to seasonings ect. The elevator for the odd numbers was broken for my entire stay but it was not detrimental. The pool is still being repaired as to be expected. Cleanliness was not to my level but I am an overly clean person. Walking barefoot turned my feet brown on the very first night in the apartment, the throw blankets smell as though they have not been washed for some time, the shower liner has mold growing on the lower part of it, and the coffee maker was coated with a thick brown coating where the water could not pass through so I cleaned it. Over all these are all minor things that did not ruin my trip. The view is nice, location is okay (not a fan of the restaurants in the kiosks-serious tourist traps. Highly recommend Bistro Del Mar food truck), and the apartment is as the pictures represent it. The guards are pleasant as were the parking entrance employees. Several stray cats on the property that happily greet you to be pet. Over a decent stay.

It was very clean and in a great location. It was a tropical paradise. I have one little issue with the tv, but it was promptly resolve ! The owners have great communication with the guest. Overoll, it was a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this apartment !

Luquillo Beach Vacation
I have stayed at Playa Azul II before but in a different unit and this one by far was the nicest. The large patio/balcony is wonderful, TVs and internet worked great, and kitchen was well stocked. Place looks just like the photos. Only disappointment was that there were only two beach chairs and one was broken and no beach towels.

Beautiful view
Nice stay. A little construction going on during the week so you can’t sleep in but it’s expected during the rebuild. The pools aren’t functioning and two of the elevators which isn’t horrible. The private feel of the beach is nice and it’s not far from everything. I will be coming back looking for this place to stay. Carmen was also able to assist in my check out when something came up.

Amazing place
Beautiful place , apartment had everything u would need in oder to have a good time . There’s tons of places to eat in the area and the waters are beautiful. 2 minute drive from Gringos jet skis wich was a ton of fun . I had a blast and looking forward to rent this apartment again . The BEST view every...
This apartment was very cozy and comfortable. The apartment has been remodeled very nicely and has almost everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. It is very central to everything. The view is more beautiful than this picture can ever demonstrate. Waking up to the sounds of the beach and the beautiful views was tremendously special. I can't wait to go again. Luquillo has great people, and we made good friends.

Nice apartment, perfect location
Post 2017 Hurricane review: General: Our vacation was a success because we had managed expectations. We knew there was going to be storm damage everywhere, traffic lights out, restricted access to destinations and restaurants. There was all of that, but we were pleasantly suprised at everything we could do. Luquillo has many restaurants open and the surrounding area had more restaurants and destinations that were open and ready for our patronage. Another pleasant suprise, the power went out once for 1 hour. We were expecting more outages. Apartment: The apartment interior is basically as you see it in the pictures. Its nice. It looks like there was some water damage at one point but it was remediated. The apartment exterior looked like it was hit by a major hurricane 4 months ago. There were people working on the property every day. I am sure it wont be long until the pool is working and all ammenities are restored. Please note: back up power, by generator will kick on but only at 3 time periods per day (morning, afternoon, night) in the event of power failure. We did not spend too much time in the apartment so it was easy to plan around the time that one could potentially be stuck inside an elevator without back up power... Managment: The owner was very helpful and responsive in having the modem fixed for fast internet access. We were very happy with the experience in this apartment, Luquillo, and PR in general. There is much to do and many to help. We recommend going and would recommend anyone to this apartment.

This place was amazing! We will definitely be returning to Ouerto Rico. The view was amazing, the local attractions and food excellent. The condo was clean and all the necessary amenities. We didn't want to leave.

Awesome place
The View is awesome! The apartment is perfectly located. Decoration very modern clean look and the couch has a pull out bed. Large balcony overlooking the blue ocean water, nice large pool and recreational areas, 2 A/C units. I will rent this place again for sure!

Nice property on a beautiful beach!
Carmen and Hector have done a great job with this property! Everything, for the most part was easy and carefree. The grounds and facilities were clean and safe! Carmen was easy to get a hold of and wonderful to work with! We only ran into one issue. When we arrived there was hair in the bed! I think that the sheets were clean and most likely when cleaning the floor or changing the sheets, the hair was just trapped. This was easily remedied by washing the sheets. Otherwise, it was a great and lovely stay!
