Fabulous place to stay near the beach, restaurants and airport, very quaint and amazing customer service. Room is very clean and bed was comfortable. They also went the extra mile and shipped me some thing that I had left. Thank you so much.

I had a lovely week long stay at Andalucia Guest House in March 2024. Chose it because of great reviews which were all true, the owner Roberto is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. He even has beach chairs and towels for guests, which was great when we walked to the Ocean Park beach 5-10min away. The Guest House itself is not big, which was nice and quiet all the time when we were resting. We had a fridge and a microwave in the room which both came in handy during our stay. Location is good too, area is more quiet than Condado yet very walkable to good local restaurants. Also walked to Condado (30min) for dinner and gelato a few times, nice evening stroll. Overall had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend!

We are checking it today and it works perfectly: just need to set up its setting to Your comfort.Ocean Park is one of the best neighborhoods in San Juan. We suspect that the one night stay did not allow You appreciate the beauty of the neighborhood.

We are glad You had a good stay.The adjective "shady" is probably no the best one to describe a multicultural neighborhood, with one of the richest cultural backgrounds in Puerto Rico, where old generations of musicians, politicians, artists ,etc lived and developed, as well as new generations of the same ( Gilberto Santarrosa, Ismael Rivera, Angela Meyer, Tommy Torres, Arcangel, Bad Bunny,...). And the properties start at 2 million dollars,....We will say more "trendy" than the other word.Warm Regards

Our room with 2 queen beds, was well laid out, with a modern & very stylish bathroom. The kitchenette was compact, clean, & efficient, with clean cabinets, a coffee maker, pots & pans, a 2 burner electric cooktop, a microwave, a compact fridge, & dining/beverage service for 4! We could walk to several restaurants/cafes, a convince store & a grocery store. Small shops & the beach were also just a few blocks walk away. There were six on-site parking spots. The owner/manager greeted us on arrival, was very helpful with details about the property & surrounding area, & gave us several excellent dining recommendations. We would recommend this lovely guest house to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, low key property, that is a short drive to the San Juan airport & for visiting Old San Juan!

Absolutely had a wonderful experience staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of delicious food options within walking distance. Beach is a quick walk from property. They have beach towels and chairs available for use. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Roberto is a very responsive property manager, always available, and replied to our texts quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. The noise from the road can be quite loud at times during the late evening because of cars blaring their music at full volume and roaring motorcycles. They supply beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers which were clean and very convenient. The beach is a short 3-4 minute walk and there are several really good restaurants within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience. We found our room to be extremely clean with great air conditioning. Roberto the owner is onsite daily and asks whenever you encounter him if there is anything that requires his attention. He responds immediately if you contact him with questions, or for area recommendations. My wife and I felt very safe and were comfortable walking in the surrounding area which offered a bakery, a number of restaurants, a store and the beach all within a block or two. A number of beach chairs, towels, coolers etc. are available for use, and free on-site off-street parking is provided. There is a lovely interior patio area where we enjoyed relaxing and visiting with some of the other guests. If desired Uber/taxi transportation is readily available into old San Juan ranging from $10 to $20. The Andalucia guest house provided us with a very comfortable 7 day stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

The room was clean. Had a coffee maker and dishes and silverware, even a cork screw! Tons of beautiful, lush white towels. Beach was only a 5 minute walk. Beach is gorgeous! Restaurants all around and on the next block. Walgreens only a couple of blocks away. Beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers to use any time. Roberto is super nice and very helpful. Would recommend it to anyone and if we every travel back, would definitely stay there again.

Quaint guest house hotel just 2 blocks from the beach. We had a room with two double beds. It was large w/kitchen area and nice bathroom. Everything was very clean. The common open area was a nice place to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Robert was a great host, checking often to see if everything was going ok and giving recommendations for places to eat, grocery stores, etc. I also love that they have beach towels, chairs and coolers to use. Easy walk to restaurants and about a mile walk to main Candado area. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Property was 2 blocks to a beautiful public access beach. Roberto, owner was very informative about all the local offerings of which there were plenty. He was immediately responsive w/ all correspondence. Place was very clean and felt safe.

This place was absolutely perfect for us! Very clean and had everything that we needed. Our host was very kind and gave us lots of local recommendations and suggestions. There are lots of restaurants, bars, stores within walking distance. Old San Juan is 10-15 min away by car. We rented a car but Uber would be about $20 round trip. We always felt safe at this location. I would absolutely stay here again and I would also bring my children the next time.

Roberto is very kind and communicative. There is parking off street, easy beach access, the property is safe with a locked gate in the evenings (code access for guests), rooms are clean and have the amenities needed, and there is a sweet garden courtyard. It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and I would book a room again whenever I come back.

Very enjoyable guest house
I had a great stay at Andalucia Guest House. The foyer with all the plants is very calming, and the guest room was clean and comfortable. This is in a great location near coffee shops, restaurants, and Loiza with a lot going on. Roberto was very accommodating during my trip.

Can’t wait to come back!
Great proximity to beach and so many great restaurants! We were greeted and made to feel welcomed immediately! There was parking right out front. Safe and vibrant neighborhood. 10 minutes from the airport. This place was perfect!

Roberto is a wonderful host who provided excellent restaurant recommendations and communication. We were sick the first part of our stay and he was very kinda and brought us extra towels and blanket. We are used to a quiet neighborhood where we live and the main issue we had here was the noise (music blasting, loud motorcycles and cars) from the nearby street that went on late into the night and disturbed our sleep - it was also 3 Kings weekend, so maybe extra celebration due to that too. McLeary Ave seems to be a main "cruising" street before you get to the gated areas near the beach. From other reviews, we were glad we brought earplugs and they helped some but the noise is endemic to the culture and neighborhood. Unfortunately moving rooms would not have changed anything. The area around had many wonderful restaurants, walgreens and a quick walk to the beach. However, sorry to say, we will look for someplace quieter next visit to PR and pay the extra $$. This was a good deal if not sensitive to noise.

Thank You for Your review and kind words about our service. We are just shocked about the noise issue: we were communicating all the time during Your stay and You never mentioned any noise issue. So sorry You were sick a few days and it may something to do with Your issue. We could had transfer You to an interior room without any problems but You did not give us that opportunity.....if You are used to a quiet neighborhood, You may be open to other cultural expressions wherever You travel. You came to Puerto Rico where latin culture is lively and during the New Years celebrations. It is noise wherever You go! You won't find a noise isolated place in San Juan during the holidays.We installed many years ago double windows with noise cancelling glass: no other Guests expressed any problems with noise. and Calle McLeary is not a "cruising street", sorryWe hope You have a noise free vacation in a latin environment in the middle of the holidays. And we are sorry You did not communicated Your concern during Your stay; we missed that opportunity.

This was a simple but very comfortable place. The beach is a very short walk, and there are lots of restaurants close by. We enjoyed Kasalta bakery for breakfast and Numero Uno beach house for evening cocktails on the beach!

This is a nice, small, and welcoming hotel. It’s very close to the beach, and they provide beach towels, chairs, and toys. And snacks and water for purchase. Very comfortable bed, and a clean and relaxing room.

I chose this location based on the positive reviews and they do not disappoint. Roberto was amazing and attentive to our needs. The location is super convenient to the beach, dining, airport, and Viejo San Juan…all that you need to do is no more than 10-15 min Uber ride away. The property provides beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler. The location appears to be surrounded with tourists and locals I felt very safe and comfortable walking around at any time. Will definitely recommend and return on my next trip to Puerto Rico.

I really enjoyed my stay. The property owner is helpful and kind and I didn’t want to leave. Great location 5 min walk to a wonderful beach. Great food everywhere you turn. Felt like a home away from home.
