Perfect location for easy access to Utah ski resorts!
The location was a perfect spot to access the UTA local shuttle to access places such as Snowbird or Brighton. As far as the place itself, it has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay - unique property.
Even though the room is in the attic of a house, it has been very well thought out. The host had a problem with the turn over crew, so it wasnt ready for check in, but the host was very communicative and even gave us a partial refund for the trouble. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great ski crash pad
Very clean, great location, comfortable bed. Easy access to 215 and short drive to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Good restaurants close by. Thai Spoon was a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant and Prohibition was great for a nice meal. Both recommended by Marcel. This was the perfect place for ski weekend. The only thing that would make this better would have been a toaster oven or toaster. Will be back!

This place was cute but small which really isn’t a complaint because I expected that. The most notable thing is that we had issue getting back into the room pretty late at night because there was some kind of issue with the pad lock. The host was responsive and told us where to find the emergency key and how to prevent that issue from happening again.

Perfect little crash pad-Super Clean
This place is huge value for the price!! I highly recommend for a stay in the Salt Lake City Area. I was in town for the Big Cottonwood Marathon and this could not have been a better choice. A small space very well thought out and extremely clean. It was great to have a fridge and cooking options. Every conceivable store is nearby. Coffee shop and restaurants within walking distance. I could have paid 3-4x more for a lesser hotel room. Host was fantastic and super responsive. Thank you for hosting me!!

In spite of a failed check in, the stay was pleasant, the room large and comfortable, the little kitchen handy. The walls are thin, so the place is not very quiet.

Fantastic Host
My boyfriend and I are moving across the country and needed a place to stay in Utah. Marcel was amazing and was incredibly accommodating concerning our situation. We had everything we own in and on top of our car and Marcel provided us with a safe place to park our vehicle so we can rest easy. If you have the opportunity, I would strongly recommend staying here! Nothing less of excellence.

Phenomenal
Marcel was the most incredible person to work with! We were having airport issues and he went above and out of his way to help us, even though he didn’t know us at all! He is the sweetest and his little home is the perfect cozy stay. If I could give this review more than 5 stars, I would!!

Skier's crash pad!
This worked well for us as one stay (6 nights) of a multi-week ski trip. It is conveniently located between the Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons so was perfect for our Brighton, Alta and Snowbird skiing. The ski bus is a short drive away and worked well for us. Owner was very responsive--we did have a few issues. Owner was also super helpful regarding recommendations for stuff nearby. Property is a bit quirky as it is in an attic (sloped ceilings) and has some unusual floor transitions.

I was just passing through town so this was a great place to crash for the night. Property was clean and well appointed. The owner was very responsive. The neighborhood was quiet and almost anything you need or want is within a few blocks including the mall. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place for "Work From Home"
This place had fast reliable internet. Host provided everything I could possibly need. It was actually a ton of space for one person and a dog; therefore, I didn't have any issues with the slanted ceiling.

Great location. Very clean.
Our host Marcel was very helpful, especially with questions prior to our stay. He even had a humidifier on when he knew we were coming from a humid climate to a much drier one. It was appreciated Marcel! The AC is great and no issues being too warm at night. Would definitely recommend. But there are fairly high set of outside steps heading to the door. Be sure you’re in sufficient shape to carry your luggage etc. up the steps. However, it does take a day to get use to the attic ceiling so as to not bump your head a few times :)

Was great , close to shopping eating everything. Only thing I’d say is that it’s super hot and AC doesn’t cool the place down enough. Had a fussy pregnant daughter & a fussy 3mth old daughter and it was just very uncomfortable. But besides that it’s perfect & we would definitely rent this unit again.

Vrbo had messed up on the reservation and notifying the owner but the owner was quick and got us a room at a near by hotel. Owner was extremely nice and diligent highly recommend.

Spring Ski Spot
Super awesome spot for a Spring trip to shred Snowbird! Stopped on our way through as travel ICU RN’s and thankful for the spot to enjoy some time off the job. Everything presented as promised. Quiet and quaint neighborhood. Would stay again! Thanks a bunch!

Utility property as advertised. 3 skiers, easy access to interstate, airport and right next to large shopping mall. Good Mexican on corner, 1 min walk. Low ceilings, tight for tall guys but manageable after couple bumps. Clean and convenient, perfect crash pad for 3 ski bums.

Great location. Easy and off the 215. Nice and warm. Great place to stay for skiing Big and Little Cottonwood canyons. There were a couple of little glitches. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was responsive and accommodating.

Great place for ski trip
This is an ideal location near lots of shops and places to eat, not too far from the ski hills. We used as our base camp, suitable for two to three skiers. Very reasonable and the owner was quite responsive.

This property was great for a friend and myself during our weekend ski trip. Easy to get to the public bus to the mountains and more than enough space to be comfortable. Great price as well!

First Time to SLC
It was a rough check in process. Never received email that told how to check in. Contacted Marcel and he did his best. I couldn't do stairs well and still can't find stairs listed in the description on the apt I rented. He did go out of his way to switch me with a downstairs apt by the 3rd day of my rental. I think Marcel is fine as a property manager, however, the Home Away app I downloaded on my phone is a joke.

The experience was good just a couple of things the mirror in the bathroom was way too high we need a full length mirror a clock would be nice in there the one on the wall didn't work we put a battery in it and it still doesn't work otherwise our stay was fine

Oh Darla! Im so sorry those things inconvenience your stay to a point to make this not a very good experience! Since then I have lowered the mirror and place the right size battery in the clock. I hope we can make your next stay a 5 stars experience.

Perfect for what it is
It's exactly what it says it is. A "crash pad," but that's all we needed. Everything as was described in the listing. The only suggestion I would make is to bring a chromecast because even though it is a smart TV. You are limited to Netflix, Amazon and hulu. YouTube is not available. Marcel was great with information about the stay and gave us a great recommendation for a bar called Prohibition within walking distance. Just look up the password before you go or they will toy with you for a little bit before they let you in. We would all stay again if we come out this way.

Thanks for the feedback Chad. YouTube is available, the only reason it was missing was because I just had gone through a firmaware update and YouTube didn’t populated automatically. We have also ditched the cable because guests had very low interest in it. Without the overhead we can keep the unit rates below average, thus giving a chance to people that travel on a budget to enjoy the Utah powder.

This was probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Marcel is an amazing host and made sure we had all pertinent information up front. This was the perfect place for my husband, dog and I to stay for skiing in the cottonwood canyons.
