Vista perfeita!
Muito boa! Muito barulho à noite, mas eu já estava ciente. O quarto tem um pouco de cheiro de modo, mas a vista pro Coliseu compensa!

Surpresa desagradável
Cheguei super cansada de viagem e antes do horário de check in. Deixaram eu deizar minhas malas na recepção e aguardar o horário de check in. Voltei no horário combinado, já cansadíssina e me disseram que aconteceu um problema e não teriam mais nenhum quarto disponível para mim!!!!!! Muito legal né? E aí me indicaram um outro hotel duas quadras pra cima e que não era de frente para o Coliseu, e detalhe... Tive que pagar a mesma fortuna! Nunca mais!

Just steps to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and the Metro station. Restaurant"s abound nearby, but the restaurant of this hotel is Uniquely Fabulous full of Art. Great breakfast and Friendly staff. Royally gorgeous room and bathroom and also spacious.

Hotel is located in the perfect spot. Trains, buses and hop on hop off buses. We reserved a room thats window shows the Coliseum. It was a great stay.

NEVER coming here again
Housekeeping stole personal belongings from our room after we asked them NOT to clean the room. Immense amounts of noise during the night.

Amazing Coliseum view.
The hotel was amazing, the breakfast in the morning included a meat plate with cheese and ham, a handcrafted coffee and juice. The staff was friendly and even though we arrived late they gave us the keys and let us finish check in the morning. The best part was waking up to the coliseum in our window.

I was nervous after reading many reviews of rude staff and horrible noise. I had zero issues with either. The staff was unbelievable!!!! They made sure we had breakfast each day. The lady at the desk showed us several places to go and how to get there as well as what scams and traps to stay away from. The staff at the restaurant was magnificent as well. Our room was beautiful and looked right out at the colosseum and it was fairly quiet for the most part. I don't know if I'd want to stay anywhere else.

Ho scelto questa struttura perché di fronte al Colosseo punto di partenza e arrivo della maratona che ho corso.mi sono trovato benissimo per questo motivo ma anche per la pulizia.

Impossible to park near, no restaurant!
Nice hotel but no parking and it’s not the easiest area to find a space, had to park 10mins away. Can’t imagine what it’s like in summer as I was there in November on a Wednesday night! No restaurant at all with a few places local to eat and one recommended by the restaurant but I couldn’t find it. Lovely girl on reception who would be even prettier if she smiled and showed an interest.

The hotel staffs was very friendly and professional at all time. The only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to install a heater I didin't see one in the room.

Don't stay here.
Place is great if you don't like sleep. The breakfast that comes with the room is also great if you like stale bread, whole tomatoes and lettuce covered in flies. Seriously look elsewhere. You've been warned.

Noisy and annoying
Room that we stayed at was located right to the upstairs bar. We could not sleep at all. There was a club under our room, absolutely loud. My husband and I are not picky about places to stay at but this place was horrible. We tried to close the door and window that faces right into the upstairs restaurant and servers would keep opening the doors and being loud. The breakfast was ok. Really nothing fancy. Only Good thing was capuccino but thats about it. So if you are willing to stay up until 3:00am after a long day at Rome then book it . But i would not recommend this place at all. My and I are 25 and 27 and it was a nightmare . You get what you pay for

Unbeatable location - Modern Hotel
The location cannot be beat for the Colloseum. The place has a modern style, and the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. However, the area is well-traveled, day and night, so just know that it will be noisy at night.

Great place to stay when visiting Rome.
Great place just across the road from the Colosseum. Restuarant below severed great food. We planned to stay there one night and ended up staying 3. Good value room, clean and serviced each day. Good size room for two adults and two kids. Fold out bed is comfortable for kids.

Gorgeous view of the Colosseum
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Royal House. Our room had a grand view of the Colosseum and for that alone I would recommend staying here. The hotel is located about a mile or so away from the main tourist attractions (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona); however, if you are an active individual, the walk isn't bad at all. If you are a light sleeper, you may have an issue with the location because there is a lot of traffic that passes by (especially ambulances and police cars) since the hotel is located on a busy street and the locals congregated on the corner at night by a local bar on the side street, but it did not bother my husband and I. The only complaints that we had were that our room was a bit dated, the shower flooded, and the wifi on the second floor did not work so we had a very weak signal from the first floor's wifi. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast in the morning always left us satisfied.

We had a wonderful stay at the royal house. Our room looked at the coliseum directly across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their restaurant was great. A large menu and all the food was sensational. All in all a great stay!

Tutto bene sia all'arrivo che a pranzo l'accoglienza è stata ottima. Unico neo la sera a cena quando cambiato il personale siamo stati trattati come persone esterne e non ci è stato neppure praticato lo sconto del 10% come previsto. Credo comunque che sarebbe corretto permettere a chi ha anche il pernottamento la possibilità di cenare in terrazza anche se mangia solo una pizza. Memori di ciò gli altri pasti abbiamo preferito consumarli altrove.

go somewhere else.
The only positive about this hotel is the view of the colosseum (only 2 of the rooms) the staff is inexistent we have to ask for basic things, shower cramped and not functioning. Very noisy hotel: blasting disco music from the bar until 2.00 am. Not a pleasant experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Great location, directly opposite the Colosseum. Comfortable, good sized room with safe for valuables. Our room was at the side with sideways view of the Colosseum, some rooms face it. Some noise from road and bar downstairs, but bedroom double-glazed, so no problems sleeping. Good continental, buffet breakfast served in Restaurant downstairs, lots of sliced meats, cheese, bread and pastries, orange juice and good coffee. Staff very friendly and Catia at reception during the day made us very welcome, spoke excellent English and gave us lots of information where to go and how to get there. Would definitely stay again.

was an awesome stay, nightview overlooking colloseum was breathtaking.. breakfast by de window lookin over colloseum was maginificent.. v friendly staff.. Catia was de best! Gave us all the info u need as a 1st timer in Rome.. Was really impressed by her service.. Left our stuffs in the room n she tracked us all de way to our Florence hotel to inform us.. 5 star for her!

Gebuchtes Zimmer war nicht verfügbar, es wurde ein anderes im Nebenhaus angeboten. Dieses war leider oberhalb einer Bar und dementsprechend war es sehr laut. Föhn war kaputt, ist beinahe abgebrannt, Dusche eine KATASTROPHE, Duschköpfe (alle) waren unbrauchbar. Frühstück für Italien ganz ok, Das Brot aber war vom Vortag.

Perfect location
Fantastic location right by the Colloseum and very helpful staff. The room was spacious and very nice. Nightmare to find parking in the area if you are arriving by car, but that seems to be the problem everywhere in Rome.

No View at all - don't stay here!
Horrible Stay. They didn't hold the room, sent us to a back up hotel around the corner with no view of the Colliseum of course. Back up hotel turned out to be a Gay hotel. Nothing againts that, just not what we wanted. Then rooftop terrace access was denied, they said only for dinner, not even to get a drink. Bottom line, don't be fooled by the pictures, you will not have a view to the Colliseum or access to the terrace. Don't stay here. Food was bad too!

worst place we stayed in Italy and ironically the
We booked in and was suddenly told the city tax went up to €3.50 and apparently the site we booked through supposedly told us-no they didn't. It went down hill from there. The downstairs restaurant is modern and clearly no money has been spent in years upstairs. The beds are rock hard and uncomfortable with the world's smallest pillows-you are better off sleeping on a park bench. The room wallpaper is peeling off everywhere and the toilet struggled to flush and the reservoir wouldn't stop running. It therefore dripped all night. The advertising said free wifi but we probably connected for 10 minutes in total over 3 days as we couldn't connect due to poor signal im our room. The downstairs was a club till 3am im the morning which lead you to wish it was morning so you could get away.The pasta portions are small and the prices are high in the restaurant. Only plus is that it is across from the colloseum. After a long day out and about in the city-all you want to do is rest and sadly you won't get any rest here...stay far away

The service and the stab in hotel was not very serviceminded The room, the cleaning up was ok, but everything was expenciv and f.eks ouer breakfast includet just one cup of te and coffey Never before have i tryed to pay ekstra for an extra coffey or tee. Emplacement exceptionnel, à côté du Colysée, petit-déjeuner copieux, chambre extrêmement propre et agréable, au décor très actuel. Tout serait quasiment parfait avec toutefois un bémol important : les très fortes odeurs et les fumées venant des différents extracteurs des cuisines des restaurants situées juste au-dessous ; l'air devient tout à fait irrespirable le soir et il faut d'urgence fermer les fenêtres et utiliser la climatisation, ce qui résout fort heureusement le problème.

We arrived 20 minutes prior to check and were told that we couldnt wait in the lobby. When we came back, the front desk clerk told us that they have plumbing issues and no room for us.

Amazing location, lovely hotel.
Weekend break to Rome, really lovely views, would tell any one to go, but walk everywhere there are so many beautiful side roads with lovely restaurant and churches.

Worst Service
The Hotel room was really nice, although it was not the room that I booked. It was difficult to find the place to check in as it is down the block from where the rooms are located and in the back of a restaurant. The front desk staff were very disorganized and seemed to have no clue what was going on. I paid the extra money for 2 double beds and got a room that was just a queen bed. They did not even see what I booked, they just put us in a queen room because there were only 2 of us. This was very uncomfortable for us as I was traveling with my friend and her boyfriend was not on the trip with us. The restaurant was nice but a bit over priced and had some of the worst service ever.

Läget är bra mittemot Coloseum. Det är inget "riktigt" hotell utan en restaurang med några rum ovanpå. I beskrivningen står det att frukostbuffe ingår, det gör det inte !! Man får en crossiant en kopp kaffe o ett glas juice vilket innebär att man får gå ut o äta frukost, o alltså betala för något man tror att man betalt i rumspriset ! Inte ok

Great view but ..
The hotel location is spectacular. The colosseum is across the street, which is great. Moreover, the staff are friendly. In general if you are practical person that you will spend most of the day outdoors, this is the place for you. The flaws are not many; the A/C was not working properly, the room is understated with ants, and visits of cockroaches. I think it is a good hotel, but they should reconsider pricing to reflect what is actually there.
