Relaxing get away
This was our 2nd stay in this cabin. It was clean, well stocked and quiet. We did some hiking in the area, lots of sight seeing, we went to the local winery and most importantly we relaxed! This cabin will always be our choice when heading to the Black hills area.

Ideal
Completely loved this cabin and the area. Stayed for five days and were able to visit all the sites we planned with ease. (Our host recommended Sylvan Lake for a hike - so awesome!) This cozy cabin was the perfect place to return to in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was great and the mattress and pillows were the best - we slept so well! Loved the minimalist decor - tasteful, comfortable and exquisitely clean. Highly recommend Big Mountain Cabins♥️

Quiet location
Clean cabin and quiet location. The biggest negative was that the lights inside the cabin were all connected and very bright. It made for difficulty while sitting on the couch and the other person was in bed.

Thank you for your kind words about the cabin. I’m sorry we did not know this was an issue for you, as you are the first to vocalize this issue. I had asked you in the middle of your stay as I do with all my guests, how was your stay in the cabin and you did not vocalize there was any issues. Now that we know, we will put a lamp in the cabin so it won’t be an issue for others.

Perfection
From checking in (zero hassles) to cleanliness, amenities, location and communication, this was a phenomenal place to stay! My wife and I met owner on a walk, so so much fun to chat with. During stay, several texts to make sure we had all we needed! Location was perfect for our needs daily! I would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cute little cabin. Very clean, well equipped with everything we needed and more. Centrally located between all the sites we planned on visiting while in the area. The owner communicated well throughout our stay and was so friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Black Hills.

This cabin was beautiful and a great location. It is within 10 miles of all activities that we completed. Thank you Jennifer for keeping touch when WIFI went down even though it did not affect us too much.

Beautiful cabin, Great location
The Cabin was beautiful, functional, and very clean. We loved the rustic design. The property and facilities are well maintained. The surrounding scenery was perfect and allows you to take in the beauty of the Black Hills. The hospitality of our host was top notch ! Our host was accessible and able to handle questions or requests promptly. My wife and I were in the Black Hills for vacation and this location was a perfect place to access points of interest in the Black Hills area. I would definitely recommend Big Mountain Cabins !

Wonderful place to stay!
Jenn was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed! The cabin was clean and beautifully made with amenities that made it feel a little more like home. Very convenient to stay here with it being a central location for all the touristy things in the area. We loved having this home away from home to make our breakfast in the mornings and come back to our cabin in the woods after a day of adventuring!

Relaxing Getaway
My husband I enjoyed our stay in cabin 1. We did lots of sight seeing and did one 4.25 mile hike. We loved to come back each day and use the grill for our supper and enjoyed some famous Prairie Berry wine! We loved everything about the cabin especially how clean and quiet it was. We definitely will be back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful cottage
This cottage was perfect for us. We stayed for six nights. The location is just ideal. We were able to have most of our breakfasts and dinners there because of the kitchenette, which is just how we wanted it. Jude and Jennifer communicated regularly, making sure we had everything we needed.

Absolutely quaint and adorable cabin. Quiet. Far enough away from campsites yet close to attractions. Didn’t even need to leave to enjoy our time in South Dakota.

The cabin was clean and accessible to local roads.
The bed was amazing and it was close to lots of attractions. Beautiful cabin. Only drawback is if you're unsteady on your feet as some rocks are used as steps and they are uneven.

Super clean and unique!
Loved this cabin — it was very clean and well maintained. It’s just off the beaten path but perfect spot to travel to do all the tourist things. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here in the Black Hills. The cabin is beautiful and built with impressive craftsmanship. It was so clean and welcoming, we looked forward to relaxing there at the end of a long day. This cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. All you need for a great trip. Host not so nice and only had minimal dishes which isn’t a game changer

I know because we did stand by our very clear policy that there is no changing of guests after checking had made us seem not so nice. However this policy is very clearly stated on VRBO. We did provide everything we agreed to when you made your reservation and were very transparent on VRBO.

Last minute booking
We booked this property within two days of staying there. We were the second booking of this new property. It was beautiful. We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. Jennifer was available for any questions we had and was even kind enough to let us tour one of the bigger cabins. It was hard to leave! We will hopefully get to be repeat visitors to this beautiful property!
