Great location
For us was perfect. Location and the apartment was great we will definitely book again. Blake was on top of everything and a super host. I can 100% recommend it.

Did not go well
On our check-in we were unable to get into the apartment. We tried the code many times. I have the same electronic lock on my door at home so I know how to use it. We texted, emailed and called our host multiple times from the hallway of the apartment with no response. Contacted VRBO and didn’t receive any assistance. We finally left and checked into a hotel. The host finally reached out 5 hours later after 9:00 pm. The next day he left the door unlocked and we were able to get in. The place was nice, beds comfortable, and clean. Don’t expect extra blankets or pillows, very basic in the amenities. The third night we were locked out again. When he gave the code for the key to the lockbox he didn’t give a location so once again we were locked out. Fortunately he responded right away and was able to unlock it through wi-fi. The walls are thin so the noisy neighbors upstairs kept us up as did the brewery behind the apartment and the trains going through blowing their horns. The host never apologized or tried to figure out a way to rectify the situation. Not sure what the issue was with the door code but hoping to get a refund for the first night.

Hi Katie - please note that I responded to you in less than 60 minutes and unlocked the door. The door lock was working perfectly and I tested it personally. You messaged me once at 4:50pm and I responded to you by 5:40pm (same day). At that point you told me you already booked a hotel and you wanted a refund. I'm sorry that you experienced this but it was self-inflicted.

Great local stay
This was my second time staying here and I recommend it highly. Unit has everything that you could need and was very clean. The owners have made updates to the furniture since the last time I stayed here and TVs have been added to the bedrooms. There is accessible parking and it is in walking distance of a lot destinations.

Great stay in Durham!
This was a great property in a perfect location. Very clean and everything was as advertised. Communication with the host was easy and responses came quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity ever arose.

Great location!
Really enjoyed with this place. You could walk to DPAC. It’s next to a great brewery and tap room and a few little restaurants. Off Street parking. Walkable to a lot of things downtown. Will most likely be back!

Nice place
Very clean updated comfy beds. Only complaint is the description says the couch is a pull out bed but it’s not. Just made it a little less comfortable for our 4th person. Location was great a bit noisy but that comes with a great location.

Modern Downtown Oasis
We stayed six nights here while some work was being done on our house. This is a great property! Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Beds are very comfortable. Only thing different from listing is that the couch in the living room is not a sleeper sofa, it’s just a regular sofa. The apartment was clean with plenty of natural light during the day. Nicely decorated. Do not skip visiting Ponysaurus Brewery which is just around the corner - the pizza is phenomenal! Parking is plentiful; there’s a small gravel lot right next to the property as well as street parking. We enjoyed walking to the main downtown area (about a 10-15 min walk) and visiting some of our favorite Durham spots! Access to 147 is so close, which makes this apt very convenient to RTP area. Blake was a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had!

Comfortable, clean, and a great location.
We were visiting my son at college, the home was clean, and comfortable. Great amenities in the home, well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect to walk to surrounding restaurants. Parking available. Contact with the host with easy, with fast response to any questions we had. We would stay here again when in Durham.

Great location in downtown Durham with everything you need!!!
The location in downtown Durham can’t be beat. It is right next to a handful of restaurants/bars/distilleries which were fantastic, but also walking distance to the main downtown area of Durham. Also Duke was only a few miles away for a short commute. The only pitfall of the location was it was near train tracks, which at night did wake us up a couple times. This though I feel would happen anywhere you stay near downtown Durham, so not really too much of a negative for us, but they are there. The apartment itself was fantastic! The updates made it feel modern but still had classic original touches. It had plenty of space for my wife and I. Everything was provided in abundance in the kitchen, with plenty of silverware, utensils, dishware/etc for the stay, and was all very clean. The couch in the living room was comfy to chill and watch tv. The outdoor deck was great to relax and take in the views of downtown Durham. The bed we used in the back bedroom was comfy and the linens were great. There is onsite parking off to the side of the building which was nice. It was secure, having a building access separate from the apartment entrance, both secured by keypad access. All and all a great stay for us while were were in town looking for a new house. It made the stay the last thing we had to worry about while under the stress of trying to find a new home, which was very appreciated. If we ever need another stay in the Triangle area, this will be our first pick.

Great Spot in Durham!
My husband and I had a blast staying at this property. It was very clean, convenient to many fun Durham spots and a great overall vibe! We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. Thanks for a great stay!
