Thank you for spending time reviewing our place. We are sorry to hear that you expected to park the car in the driveway and your impression was not quite what you expected. However, it is clearly posted and unambiguous what the parking situation is like and there are numerous, accurate pictures on the website. So there should be no surprises from our guest if one spends a moment to look at the listing. We do have a driveway in front of the garage, and we do not wish to inconvenience our guests to move their vehicles whenever we have to drive our cars out of the garage. Therefore, we purchase visitor parking permits from the city, and we provide them free to our guests. Moreover, we are situated in the most historic neighborhood in Portland; our house including the apartment is neither new nor bright & modern, but warm and cozy. And, the apartment has a large bay window that is east facing which brings in bright sun shine into the bedroom. Unfortunately, you stayed one night and left very early; your stay was too short to see it. We hope you had a comfortable stay, and thank you for staying with us.
