We loved the pool area and the lounges on the first level. Very nice. We had a little hard time finding the main entrance at first but overall a very easy process.

The room was comfortable and suited all needs. Check in was impersonal and confusing as my email said lockbox 5473 and there were only lockboxes numbered 1-32. So I called the number, randomly tried #3 with that code. Parking took forever and was a pain as well. So is chrome tv.

I paid to have early check in and when I arrived, (only 45 mins) prior to original check in, no key fobs were in the locker. I had to call and the person there was not available and so I had to go to a different locker. So I did not get in early and then no additional communication as to how to return the key fob so I was not charged…I had to follow up.

The space was great, clean, and spacious. The bed was comfortable, provided enough coffee, soap, detergent, etc. for our entire stay. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Store was close by so we stopped there a few times for breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Easy to get to downtown and around the Phoenix area and parking was easy (recommend not prepaying, just pay when you get there and have your car’s info). Also the lounges were great, especially if you had a bigger group. The one on the second floor had an ice machine which was helpful while our freezer was making ice. Sofa bed was also comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils and plates/cups, but only one frying pan. Check-in is easy, fob was in the locker and other two were in the apartment. Yes, you can hear the person above walking around but it was quiet at night. Also you can sometimes smell the trash shoot in the hallway but that is just part of apartment life. Only compliant is the chairs/stools were too high, it should have counter height ones, so we mostly stood to eat. Also the bathroom is in the main bedroom so it was kind of awkward when my friend stayed out on the sofa bed and had to come into the room to go to the bathroom. But overall, I recommend the place and all its amenities and ability to cook your own food, make your own drinks, strong wifi and you can easily stream to chromecast for shows/movies. Also the customer support in the app is super responsive if you have questions.

Parking is a nightmare, they sell you parking pass & there are very limited amount of spots shared by the building. We rented a car since the property offered parking, ended up using Uber often and leaving the car as there isn’t much street parking as a backup. The unit was ok, bare bones furniture. Not even a dresser to put things in. It was clean but the fact the walls, trim, floors…. Are so dingy and dinged up it made it feel not so clean. Washer dryer major mildew smell. They gave us 3 towels for 3 people, we could have requested more, why should we need to? Yes there is a washer and yes we did wash and reuse and that’s ok- but I think pretty basic common sense to at least have a couple extras. I think a lot of people use 2 one for the body & one for hair. The mattress was a rock, not even exaggerating a little. It didn’t indent when your body lay down, so uncomfortable we almost left to find a hotel to sleep in. I ended up asking for anything, blankets or anything we could lay down for comfort, they sent another blanket, 1 blanket, there were no extra blankets in the unit at all. We actually ran into the person delivering the blanket to us ,on the elevator. It was nearly dragging the floor he was just carrying it in a bundle and it didn’t feel clean. We still used it, we were desperate for sleep, it was not even slightly better. The caulk and trim in the kitchen was split and looked dirty , barstools didn’t fit. Location was decent getting to food and downtown

I love the convenience of local eateries right down the street. Everything was accessible in a 5 minute walk. The property infrastructure is not the best. All day I was hearing the tenant above me and really couldn’t enjoy relaxing due to them walking hard around their apartment. Also at times, I could smell weed coming through the vents in the bathroom and main living space.

周りの部屋の足音、洗濯機の音など、音の漏れがすごく怖いくらいで休めない。 調理道具はそろっているが、そもそも食材を買ってこないと調理も出来ないわけで、歩ける範囲の周囲にはスーパーなどない。数百メートルの所にちょっとしたコンビニ的な店があるが、食材購入場所としては不十分だった（電子レンジで温めるごはんやカップ麺等、多数の食材を持って行ったので助かった）。車ありきの宿であることを改めて強く感じた。今回、1マイル程の距離にあるフェニックスコンベンションセンターでの学会参加のために宿をとったが、海外旅行者ではレンタカーなどなければ過ごすのは快適とは言い難い。 大きなモニターがあるがケーブルTVにはつながっていないので、自身のパソコンやタブレットをHMDIケーブル（これはあった）につないでネットを見ることになる。 ゴミがたまれば自分で出す（建物の入り口にゴミ出し用のコンテナあり）、タオルやシーツは替えてもらえず、滞在日数が長い方はおそらく、シーツ、バスマット、バスタオルやフェイスタオルを自分で洗うのだろう。全自動式の洗濯機は備えてあるが、日本と海外の仕様は異なっているところもあり、日本から持って行った衣類を安易に米国の全自動洗濯機にかけると衣類にも変化が生じるかもしれない（結局、私は使わなかった）。 自家用車を有する米国の方の逗留には良いかもしれないが、日本のビジネスホテルの方が全く快適だと関じた。

Good Stay
I enjoyed the stay for a business trip at sonder, i liked pretty much everything except the communication. I asked if i can park my car off the street and never got a response. I had to double check with building managmement team to figure out. Also, the sonder app is not working and you need to log in and get information through web.

The place was amazing probably the biggest unit I've ever gotten to stay in so far. Everything was amazing I think it was just the check in & trying to get the code for fobs in locker, but all in all it was amazing & I look Forward to stay again with sonder, thank you again for amazing trip!

The 1bedroom we stayed at was quite dated. Carpet not clean, the shower drains very slowly and without handle. So for any elderly traveling, this may not be the place to choose. Not sure why it had such high rating before. One good thing about it is the communication was excellent on the app. Once I told them items not working, they immediately sent over people to fix, and even moved us to another location.

Sonder is a good idea with poor execution. To book a Sonder, I have to develop an app profile, which requires multiple scanning of my driver's license. That was odd and made me uncomfortable. I attempted to back out but Sonder said that they would charge me full price if I didn't show. That made me disappointed in Expedia and Sonder. A few days before my arrival, I received an entry code and then received another the day of arrival. Sadly, neither worked. Standing outside my apartment, I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes until the door programmed for the third code. Finally, I get in. The place itself was nice with a full sized washer / dryer. However, there was no door to the bedroom so I could here the washer / dryer all night. I had no other option as this was the reason I booked this type of place, as I was in between two west coast business trips for over two weeks and needed to clean clothing. At 5:45AM, the garbage arrived and banged around for 15 minutes. Well, that is just bad luck on top of the experience. The place is safe and in a walkable area, but, overall, I wish that I had stayed elsewhere.

Made a request for a pack and play for our 10 month old baby and they said it would take 12-24hrs to accommodate our need. Our baby ended up having to sleep on the floor which was not clean. The apartment overall is not in great condition, floors are stained, walls are banged up. Bed had dirty smudges on it, hair in the bed. Pubic hair in the bathroom. Overall the worst hotels.com stay we’ve had.

This is not a hotel!
This is not a hotel. When you arrive you’re on your own, except for a hotline they you can call. That said, there is no concierge to welcome you. However, if you’re looking for an ‘apartment’ and independent experience, this place is for you. You will literally be in an apartment like environment.

I thought this property was very nice. Perfect space for 4 people. Park near by! Went to Chase field for bowl game, was just 1 1/2 away. The only problem I had was I paid for parking. First night was fine but other nights no parking. I figured they would just sell the exact number of spaces. However, I did call to let them know and they refund all nights so I shouldn’t complain. Would definitely stay there again.

I made sure the check in online was completed before we arrived to the Sonder. So that was fine. Upon arrival and entering the suite… it was surface clean but the walls in the unit are disgusting. Smudges and stains everywhere. It really made the place feel unsanitary. I purchased sanitary wipes and recleaned the entire Sonder. I didn’t want to touch the walls then touch my face accidentally. In addition the couch is sooo worn out. You cannot sit on the couch comfortably. You’re better off sitting on the bed. Which is weird if other people are visiting you. The TV was fine for me to set up since Netflix is so user friendly. This TV on the other hand is not. The cost for this Sonder is quite high considering how run down it is. I’m sure with all the money they gain from ripping guests off they can afford a new layer of paint, and couch and a smart TV. 2 towels provided only. The biggest deal breaker for me was our 2 fobs didn’t have access to building B where the hot tub is located. I reached out to their customer service whom responded quickly but such a waste of time. They had me running between the 2 buildings trying my fobs on every door. Even sent me to the underground lockers at 930pm at night to retrieve another fob. Which still didn’t have access to building B. I’ve lived in many condos back home in Vancouver simply the fobs didn’t have access and needed to be reset. Customer service said they cannot do anything, unresolved. Sticking to hotels from now on.

Horrible carpet, great location and folks.
We love this property and have stayed here before. I was shocked at the condition of the carpet in the master. They responded quickly but there were no other rooms as an option

I loved the location of the flat, the amenities at the bulding are also great. I would have loved some streaming options or other forms of entertainment but the overall experience was quite a delight, it definately has a homey feel to it.

Great business trip or family trip location.
We stayed here for a conference and had pretty easy access the entire time. Had an issue with one of the keys and used the chat system, was rectified immediately. Place is very clean.

We were moved to a new room due to the carpet being extremely filthy and stained. The second room also had lots of stains. The walls were pretty dirty and a splash like stain on the ceiling. The bed was not comfortable at all. A little too firm. This is second time staying a a Sonder site and fo plan on visiting different locations, however, hoping to have a more pleasant experience.

Loved this stay! The space was clean and very modern. Only downside was not that great sleep throughout the stay due to the mattress being very firm. It felt like a concrete slab that was padded. But other than that, everything else was amazing!

Checking in was confusing, and I really hated that parking on premise was thrown on me as an extra charge after booking. The room had weird scuffs in the the wall as well. It also bothers me conceptually, since short term rentals in a building that has permanent residents destroys the local culture and prices people out of the area.
