Peaceful retreat
We stayed at Petrae vineyard with 2 families and had an amazing time. The house layout made it easy to accommodate two families while having the kids enjoy the room with the bunk beds. The location of the property is great - peaceful, quiet, and yet close to Paso Robles, wineries, and San Miguel Mission. The outdoor space is very convenient and the hot tub made evenings more fun. We really enjoyed the amount of space outdoors and had set-up various sport zones for the kids. The evenings also offered great star gazing and opportunity to unplug (and yes Wifi was very effective there). Overall, there is plenty of space which makes this property easy to recommend - especially for a larger group. The kitchen was very handy and we enjoyed many great meals at the house. We will be back :)

Wonderful Property
The house was very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay, very close to wineries and the location was secure. Coffee was a plus! Family very happy with the selection. Next time in Paso definitely will rent it again!

Great for families
We stayed here with family friends and really enjoyed it. The house was the perfect layout for us - kids in the bunk beds and each couple got a master bedroom. We were also able to bring our dog. It was clean and easy to access. Would stay again!

Loved our stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was so comfortable and functional for our family. After a day of wine tasting during an unseasonably cold spring day, it was so nice to come back to the home and enjoy the vineyard views + hot tub! We'll be back for sure!

Amazing stay
Though the location is a little bit of a drive from downtown Paso and some wineries, the sweeping views and beauty of the location made the drive worth it. The hot tub became a gathering place in the morning and evenings. The bedrooms are well laid out and very spacious. The bunk bedroom was perfect for teenagers. Overall, we highly recommend this house and location for larger gatherings.

Beautiful property ! Comfy beds. Hot tub and bbq , perfect sunsets. The drive in didn't bother us not sure what people expect in wine country. Could use a box of Kleenex though and maybe cleaning supplies other than that I would definitely book again! Quick response from managers also ! A+++

Excellent home with great views

Great getaway weekend with friends
We had a great time in Paso Robles! The Petrae Vineyard was clean and comfortable, plenty of room for 6 adults. We even had an extra bedroom that we didn’t use. The location was a short drive to the wineries. Our only negative was the long dirt road required to access the property. But nothing that would stop us from staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Lovely House
We had a great time and enough space for our group. Kids loved the bunk bed room and the kitchen island for breakfast. It is a few minutes on a dirt road to get to the property, with San Miguel close by for any last minute needs while you’re there. The hot tub looked a little murky so we did not use it, I think if we had called the property manager to ask though they would have helped. It does get windy at night but bring a hoodie and make sure you take some time to look up at the stars.

Wonderful family relaxing reunion!
We had a wonderful time with our family and we were able to visit a few wineries in Paso Robles. It was all great. The one thing I would notify or tell people is that you are in sable country especially during the hot part of the year. A rattle snake came out of a bush in backyard patio while we were out there. It was not threatening but still it was crazy to see one just roll up near us. Other than that it was great!! Very spacious place we had so much room and we loved that! Also loved the remoteness of the space. Don’t forget to get your milk or anything before staying here so you don’t have to drive 10 to 15 out to get one item. Really great stay. Thanks !!!

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing stay
Property was beautiful and held our two families and our adult kids, with no issue at all. Beds were comfortable and we never felt cramped. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking around the beautiful property. Kitchen was well stocked and suited us perfectly. We can't wait to return.

We stayed at Petrae for 2 60th birthday celebrations. This property was just as described - we had a lovely time. Fantastic views, beautiful and spacious house. It fit us 6 women perfectly. We definitely would visit again.

Beautiful, comfortable stay
The large house is well appointed and very comfortable. Everyone from my 2.5 year old son to my 70 year old mother-in-law had a great trip. The house is pretty remote, up a well-maintained dirt road, and is situated on a working vineyard. The only element of our trip that was less than ideal was that the wind picked up significantly each evening, so we couldn't eat outdoors and enjoy the spectacular setting.

Birthday trip
Loved this house and the location was amazing. I would love to get this place again maybe wait till mid April when the vines are all green and growing. We only had one night where we ran out of propane so the heat and stove went out for the night but they had space heaters up at the house within minutes and propane was delivered that next morning so everyone had hot showers and we were able to cary on are day of plans, otherwise I would vaca here again.

Amazing spot! Ok house
Nothing special about the house, older fixtures. Showers pretty terrible, plumbing in general is not kept up. Positives are the location. Many wows, views and privacy. Incredible. Outdoor dining table insane. Jacuzzi is wow. Keep in mind this property manager will hold on to your security deposit for almost a month. Not sure we would have gotten the money back if we didn’t call. Sneaky.

We've not had that feedback about the plumbing from other guests, but will review the system with a critical eye. We refunded your deposit in full within 10 days of your departure and are often able to do so more quickly. Unfortunately, we have no control over how long your credit card company takes to post the funds back into your account, which can take several additional days. Amazing property
This property is exactly as pictured. It’s one of the most beautiful VRBO’s that we have ever stayed at. My mom and I loved working out and walking through the vineyards each morning and loved taking in the spectacular views. The house itself was perfect for our group of 10. All the bedrooms were beautiful and large. The place was clean, the check in process was seamless and the property managers were amazing. There was a loss of power within the area the night we got there and we were in darkness for about a hour or two. I called the property manager right when it happened and they were up at the house within 20 minutes with lanterns and flashlights. They were so accommodating. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Gorgeous House + Beautiful Location
This house is exactly as pictured. The house sits atop a hill overlooking the property's vineyards where the sun rises at the front of the house and sets just over the hill in the back. If you like hill-walking you don't event have to leave the grounds of the property as there is a nice service trail that goes all the way around the few acres. You can also take a longer trail walk from the house down the dirt road. The interior of the home is lovely. The house is beautifully finished and the rooms are all very comfortable. The beds are all crisp and clean and the there are enough towels for the three bathrooms and the hot tub. Our only critical feedback is, if you are paying this much for overnight stays, there should be more amenities in the kitchen. There are coffee makers, but no complimentary coffee?!? There are zero spices or olive oil for guests to use, so you will need bring your own, which again, at this price should be provided. Also, the pots and pans are very low quality, and if you are family of chefs, like ours, you will be disappointed. Finally, lounge chairs for the back patio would be a nice upgrade so you could lay in the sun in the gorgeous afternoon light. We feel these are minor upgrades that the property managers could make easily. All together, we would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this property to our friends and family.

Our stay
This house was perfect for our group. It has 2 master bedrooms and a lot of space. Great for entertaining. My only complaint is the hot tube was not clean when we arrived, there was sand and leafs floating and no net to clean any of it out so we bought one and cleaned it so we could enjoy the hot tub. Other than that this house was awesome! Not too far out of town either. Great house!

Good for socially distant weekend trip
Quiet hilltop property. Ideal for a socially distant vacation. Enormous master and large guest bedrooms. Good for multiple couples. Nice views and vines. Kitchen cookware was average - some updates and additions would be useful. Hot tub was nice though also in need of some maintenance. Note that the house is accessed by a few miles of dirt roads; slow going at night.

Vineyard Hideaway
A beautiful home in the hills close to the 101 and Camp Roberts, the well-appointed and comfortable interior is surrounded by peaceful rolling hills. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals after exploring Paso Robles and the wineries. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious, and the sitting area inside and out accommodates our whole crew very nicely. The property managers quickly answered our phone calls and messages. The pictures of the view drew us to this place and reality did not disappoint.

The Grape Escape

Gorgeous San Miguel Getaway
Eight of us stayed here comfortably for 2 nights in January and we had a wonderful time. The amenities, kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, hot tub, and gorgeous views were all perfect. Check in was easy, and there was plenty of parking. The house is far away from any neighbors, so nights were quiet and dark, which was lovely. The only thing to note is that this property is located about 25 min outside of Paso Robles in San Miguel, and the last two miles are so are on a dirt road. It had rained recently, and we had to be very careful driving up as there were numerous potholes and small ravines to avoid. We would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time, but it was a small price to pay for the unparalleled views!

Great Family Hideaway
This was a great rental property. Pictures are accurate and it is well maintained. The kitchen supplies are more on the sparse side in comparison to other rentals we’ve had - but still sufficient. Our families had a great stay! Be prepared - the view is amazing... which means that you go up a decent size hill to get it. Walking the property may be difficult for small children or guests with health concerns... but it was a gorgeous property! We will definitely be back!

We stayed as a family of 7. Two of our 3 grown children brought significant others. The dual masters were a plus. All were comfy whether dining or hanging out We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen worked well. We enjoyed the wineries, esp Sculpterra. We really liked The Hatch Bar in old town . We all fit in the hot tub!

Incredible view
This property was very comfortable for three adult couples. The view from the location on top of a hill was worth the drive several miles from Paso Robles. The beds were comfortable as was the living area. The house was very clean. One problem was the lack of cooking pans. Also, there were no Kleenex, only toilet tissue. While we didn’t use the hot tub, it did look inviting and clean. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this property.

Great country house
We went with 2 other couples, and the house was perfect. It gave us plenty of room, and the views were stunning. We also enjoyed watching the sunrise from the hot tub. I’d definitely rent this home again.

Fabulous location
This property is fabulous. Very clean and spacious. Nice secluded area but close to everything which was extremely convenient. The property management team was great from the beginning to the end. I would definitely stay here again. I highly suggest this property. 5 stars all the way.
