A mess
We arrived around 5 pm as previously informed. At check-in, we asked wether the upgrade was considered (Expedia gold status) and we were told that it was. The first room was undone. We arrived at the room with the luggage boy and the room was totally empty. No sheets on the beds, pillows over the sofa and smelly. The luggage boy told us to wait and got back with the keys for another similar room one floor down. We told him that we did not want a room facing the parking lot and that no upgrade had been considered as it should have. So he came back again and we finally moved to a proper room. The area of this room was very good as well as the front ocean view with a little balcony (We had stayed at this room two years ago). However no improvements were performed meanwhile. The cleanliness is poor and reckless. Everything you touch is stinky, stains on the carpets, on the beach towels and bathrobes. Sent one to wash and had to ask for its replacement. One day the toilet paper was missing, the other day it was the shower gel refills, turn down did not happen every evening… a mess. We felt that this hotel is very dated and has no adequate customer care. During the first two days of our stay it was very windy. We were at the beach at the first row of chairs when the staff started to put on one of those tents with mattresses right next to us. We could not believe they were putting the tent on so close to the other guests with such strong wind. When I complained, one of the boys

O hotel é excelente e muito bem localizado. Ficamos em um quarto também excelente. Porém, nosso voo chegou mais cedo do que o previsto e ao chegarmos no hotel e questionarmos sobre a possibilidade de um early checkin, recebemos a resposta que estavam lotados e nos devolveram os passaportes. Entendo que se o hotel está lotado, de fato não há nada a ser feito, mas estávamos com uma criança e faltou cordialidade e empatia do recepcionista.

When I arrived at that place I was surprised at the low standard of cleaning that most of the parts that I used in my room were used in. I had to clean them before because it was obvious not been cleaned suns the las person before me. .I was in that place for three days with a broken bathroom.And with a lot of dust everywhere.I called service three times and they supposedly came to repair it, but until the day I left the bathroom still didn't work. After all I can't say that I recommend this place.

My experiences in Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel exceed my expectations. The Staff members are out of this planet, any place I went they knew me and asking if I need anything. My experiences start at arrival Staff open the car door and Mr. Nico Valdes make sure you are taking care of. I special thanks to Mayelin, Maria Hermosa, Nash and Alberto from Costa Rica . What a great team. The customer services at the beach with Salvador and his team DJ and Diego from Peru, fabulous !!!! My friends and I had the best time ever. I strongly recommend Eden Roc Hotel not even for the ocean view and the food, but the Costumers services really made me feel a Queen. Thanks so much Mrs. Lunie at the changing room, what a nice lady. We will be back for more !!

It’s our fifth time here and always it’s just great. Easy for Miami, central location but quiet. Pool areas could do with an upgrade but otherwise fabulous beach restaurant , good size rooms well sound proofed and pleasant service from everyone. We will be back soon .

The property was pretty overall. Our room was ok, but not in the best shape with small issues (ie no door handle on the bathroom). You have to pay extra to have a small empty fridge brought up which I know a few guests were complaining about. The elevators were fast and the beach area was really nice. It's on par with other good hotels in the area. They do seem to host a lot of corporate functions and will close down certain areas/pools when they do. We stayed for 3 nights and there was an area shut down every day for something. Just something to be aware of. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beid er Buchung hatten wir Frühstück für alle vier Angegebenen Personen gebucht. Im Hotel erfuhren wir, dass ein Frühstück nur für zwei Personen inbegriffen ist. Dies geht so nicht aus der Buchung hervor und wurde auf der Expedia Seite so nicht geschrieben. Man könnte schon fast von (arglistiger) Täuschung sprechen.

The property is lovely- a true resort experience steps away from South Beach. The Junior Suites in the new wing are fantastic- specious, immaculate, beautiful views and balcony. Fantastic for a family of four. The staff was generally great. The Inez Cafe in the lobby is extraordinarily expensive—even for a Miami resort—and most offerings are mediators at best. The resort needs a place to get basic toiletries and not $15 waters. Overall, a positive experience.

I was severely disappointed with our stay at Eden Roc. We experienced some difficulty getting in due to weather, so we arrived at the property at 2:30 AM. We found a room with pee and hair on the toilet as well as left over food in our refrigerator (which reeked, it had been a couple of weeks). Since the front desk is only open until 3AM and our travel to the hotel was awful, we did not complain. The next day, we ordered room service. It was delayed 2 hours. We missed our scheduled appointment and had to completely rearrange our plans for the day. Next - we are a family with 2 young ones, 7 and 3. We thought Eden Roc would be a family friendly location, but none of the restaurants were accommodating and when we tried the cafe - we waited 45 minutes for a couple of paninis and salads. Finally, we were busy during the day and wanted to enjoy the beach at night - there were no beach towels to be found anywhere - 3 nights in a row. The property has an "expensive" section and a "moderate" section. While the "moderate" wing is expensive in my book, I certainly felt like a second-class citizen, getting the "lesser tier" experience, which included no beach towels. We were excited to try an "elevated" hotel experience and got the opposite. I was sincerely and deeply disappointed in the experience we received and wish I would have opted for the Fountainbleu instead.

This is a great resort! Monti was wonderful! I don’t think most of the reviews are a true reflection of the hotel! The pools are all clean, fun, and live djs. The food is great! And nothing can beat the beach! I would recommend
