Perfect Mom & Daughter Getaway
My mom and I escaped to McMinnville for wine tasting and relaxation in May and I this was a perfect location! Close enough to town that wine tour guide would pick us up at the door, but far enough that we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the area. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the flower farm during a break in the rain. The large fridge and comfortable king beds were perfect for two adults on a mission to eat and drink our fill! We didn’t have the weather to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but it was a very good set up. We met the hosts in passing and they were very friendly, but the whole stay was so easy we never needed any assistance! We would definitely recommend this spot to adults or a small family staying in the area!

Comfortable and Perfect!
My friend and I came to your the wine country and this is the perfect location! The center of McMinnville is a pleasant surprise with amazing food, wine tasting rooms and beautiful town center! Hidden Hills Escape was the perfect location. We were comfortable and had everything we needed for rest and relaxation between outings. Nichole and Matt are fantastic hosts! Will definitely return!

Perfect location for Wineries, Nature, Pacific Coast, Great Food!
We stayed here for our honeymoon - great location for visiting wineries, hiking, great food, and only an hour from the Pacific coast! Apartment located on a beautiful flower farm in the country but just minutes from McMinnville. Apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Awesome, Comfortable Getaway!

Felt like home
We had a relaxing, comfortable, and fun time staying at this country retreat. It is close to town but also far enough away to feel rural. Lots of small touches to make the stay feel like home. Fun games for our kids, so they spent a lot of the time outside. We will remember this stay in McMinnville for years to come.

Quiet Retreat
Apartment was excellent, exactly what we were looking for. It was perfect for just my wife and I, but would be very comfortable for 2 couples. It was quiet, clean and well appointed. It was in the country, but still very close to downtown McMinnville and several wineries. Hosts (Nicole and Matt) were great and fun to chat with.

Perfect Place to Stay
We came to the Willamette Valley for a friends getaway weekend and this rental was perfect close and easy drive to so many of my favorite wineries, property was quiet and beautiful, 2 king beds were amazing, and the fire table was so wonderful. This rental is exactly how it is pictured and it is so well stocked. What a lovely place!

Peaceful and quant
The property is located in a rural area about 15 minutes outside of downtown McMinnville. It’s quiet, well appointed and the owners are very nice and accommodating. Lots of great wineries are nearby (within a drive of 30 minutes or less) . The downtown area is a fun place to walk around, with lots of shops, restaurants and brewpubs. All in all a great, relaxing 4 nights here…if we are in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here.

Perfect quiet country cottage
This was such a nice retreat after a day of wine tasting. Beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge upon arriving. The owners were very friendly and responsive too any questions we had. The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfy. Fire pit was great and fun games, ladder ball made it fun!

Lovely getaway outside of McMinnville
Loved the wonderful VRBO just outside of McMinnville. Great location to get to the many wineries around the McMinnville area. Enjoyed the serenity and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

A great location, perfect for family to relax after a long day
This was our second time staying at this house. Only 10 min from the kart race track (located in Mcminville down town area). Very clean and quiet, very comfortable beds. Only issue we had was a leak from shower head handle - small fix - most likely it will be fixed next time we visit Mcminville.

Quiet and Picturesque
Great place for two couples to share while in the area for wine tasting. Nichole and Matt are friendly, accessible and accommodating as hosts, even giving us a bottle of bubbly to enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the outdoor spaces very much enjoyed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great place to stay, super quiet and comfortable
We spend two nights here after Karting racing at Mac Track. All of us had great sleep and able to re-energize for race days. Waking up and listening to birds, and sipping morning coffee was a big plus for parents.

Serene retreat

We stayed at Matthew and Nichole’s property for a girls’ weekend. It is beautiful, well appointed, and very comfy. Our wine tour guide picked us up right at the house because it’s in the middle of wine country. I look forward to bringing my husband for a stay soon. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Escape
My husband and I along with our 8-year old son ended our two week vacation trip at Hidden Hills Escape. We chose McMinnville to experience the Willamette Valley wineries and we were so glad we found Matt and Nichole's property. They have a lovely setting for their guests and have really thought of everything. The beds were super comfortable and the towels were plush. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. And our hosts were fantastic to work with - Nichole is super responsive. We left a device at a previous location and needed to have it shipped to Hidden Hills and Nichole was super helpful with the process. The bottle of Argyle bubbly was a nice touch to welcome our stay. While we intended to do some wine tastings, we ended up spending more time at Hidden Hills enjoying the setting - the yard games, the firepit and the natural beauty surrounding us. We would love to come back for an extended stay. Thank you, Matt and Nichole, for a terrific experience.

Beauty and Serenity Abound At Hidden Hills
We stayed at Hidden Hills Escape for over a week, and we wished we could stay longer. Nichole and Matt have created a little slice of heaven in McMinnville for their guests, and I plan to stay there whenever I visit. They are friendly and helpful, and the accommodations are extremely comfortable. The stunning grounds are well-cared for, and we had opportunity to explore the property, pick berries, hang out at the pond, and see wildlife. The whole process was easy - from check-in to check-out. The internet access was dependable which allowed me to work as well as enjoy some tv streaming at night. My favorite part of the day was returning home in the evening and hanging out on the deck. The apartment maintained a comfortable temperature in August without needing to turn on the air conditioner, and I felt completely safe sleeping with windows wide open. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay, with amazing hosts, this is it.

Wine country weekend
Hidden Hills Escape was perfect for our wine country weekend. This property is beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations were perfect. The king size beds were very comfy. The kitchenette was well supplied. The outdoor deck was perfect for our morning cup of coffee. We saw deer, birds and beautiful flowers on the property. Found a lovely morning. hike at nearby Miller’s Woods. And, of course , so close to all that the Willamette Valley wine country has to offer.

Wonderful, relaxing stay near McMinnville
We rented Hidden Hills along with another couple. It was a great jumping off point to visit wineries in the Valley. Not far at all from McMinville, so we could easily get into town for meals and shopping. Matt and Nicole were wonderful hosts. Their property is stunning. We spent time out on the balcony and around the fire pit with wine and cheese. I enjoyed walking on their trails and looking at Nicole's beautiful garden. The apartment was perfect for our little group. It's cozy but was plenty of room for us. The bedrooms do share a wall so that might not be ideal for some groups. We'd definitely stay here again!
