Hotel bem novo. Quando ficamos em novembro disseram que tinha menos de 1 mês de funcionamento e ainda era possível ver pessoas trabalhando na reforma. O quarto é bastante confortável e os funcionários bastante atenciosos. A internet funciona em quase todo lugar, mas no quarto pode ter certa dificuldade para conectar. Alguns pontos negativos foram o preço da alimentação no restaurante (no segundo dia achamos um "take out" bem bom e barato perto do hotel) e a praia em frente ao Hotel, que não é muito boa (sugiro alugar um carro para ir para as melhores praias). O acesso à praia passa por uma propriedade vizinha ao hotel, cujo dono não é uma pessoa muito agradável e, inclusive, reclamou conosco em uma oportunidade e disse que colocaria uma cerca para evitar a passagem.

Péssima experiência! Chegamos pelas 14h ao hotel depois da reserva feita há mais de 7 meses e dizem nos que não temos quarto! Acabamos por esperar por um suposto quarto "melhor" até as 19h, ao qual, estava mal limpo e inapropriado para efectuar um check in a qualquer que fosse o cliente!

O hotel é agradável, o acesso a praia é o ponto forte e é tudo bem cuidado e bonito. O restaurante é bom, mas deixa a desejar nas opções, mas nada que comprometa. Bom atendimento.

O Hotel é bem moderno e bonito. No entanto nos deram um quarto de deficiente que não tinha box, portanto, molhava todo o banheiro. O serviço do hotel no geral é ruim, comida não é boa, o atendimento é lento, tem toalhas de piscina e resto de comidas acumulados por toda a área da piscina. Falta organização e um bom atendimento para ser um hotel 5 estrelas. Poderia fornecer translado do hotel até o aeroporto, já que fica bastante distante.

Hotel de custo benefício excelente, muito confortável, adoramos o spa e o restaurante. Só tivemos problemas com a reserva do restaurante a la carte. Pela manhã, fomos à recepção e solicitamos ao funcionário que fizesse a reserva para nós. Quando chegamos no local à noite, não havia reserva para o nosso quarto. Fomos atendidos mesmo assim, mas não deixa de ser um inconveniente. Tirando isso, tudo excelente!

C'est un établissement bien placé et au calme. Il y a deux arrêts de bus à proximité et deux superstores. ll y a eu un moment où l’hôtel était plein et on ne s'est pas senti à l'étroit. L'accès à la piscine reste fluide et la plage à coté donne la possibilité de rester sur place. On a été au spa et l'équipe est vraiment très professionnelle et chaleureuse. On a testé deux des trois restaurants (tamarind et le buffet). C'est bon mais un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Le petit déjeuner est parfait et bien varié. Le personnel très agréable même si on n'est pas toujours bien compris. Ils n'osent pas nous faire répéter que ce soit en anglais ou en français. Le petit truc qui m'a un peu déplu c'est la literie. Le matelas est bien mais la couette trop épaisse et pourtant indispensable pour le souffle de la clim. Puis l'odeur des oreillers : un petit relent d'humidité sur certains...

Good: The Hotel is located right at the Beach, the Restaurant seating is very good. The rooms are very good. Bad: The Air Conditioning is not good, we felt hot through the night.

Séjour exceptionnel en amoureux, literie confortable, belle chambre, nourriture excellente et varié, superbe piscine le tout face à la mer Seul 2 points négatif : aucune boisson de comprise dans l’offre 1/2 pension ! Nous avons prix extra boisson pour le dîner et même les serveurs et le barman n’était pas au clair avec et avons finalement dû payer une boisson alors que normalement c’était compris dans l’offre ! Et le second point est le bruit de la climatisation ! Maintenant tout le monde est aux petits soins merci à philisca pour son Acceuil !

Ok til prisen. Trænger til istandsættelse.
Meget slidt hotel. Lever ikke op til billederne og lidt sløv service. Værelset var først klar kl 15 ved ankomst. Når det så er sagt, så er der en dejlig strand med mulighed for at snorkle. Der er en restaurant på hotellet, udover den med buffeten, og den var god og hyggelig.

Resort is beautifully located on the west shore so sunsets are amazing! Resort has a fantastic large pool that is great for laps. Ocean swimming isn't great anywhere in the Seychelles because of changing currents and rip tides, but this resort has a lovely ocean pocket for relaxing in the 84 F water. Hotel is comfortable but does need refurbishing, The rooms are a little tired but overall fine. People in the Seychelles are pretty laid pack, Steve, the Concierge was wonderfully hospitable.

Took 3 requests to get room cleaned. Benjamin Seidel is front desk manager that promised to get it done on the second request. Terrible management. Tamarind Restaurant was excellent but buffet and lunch were terrible. Great massage therapist, Kadek.

I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the Tamarind restaurant and the massage from our Spa Manager Kadek. We highly regret to hear of your dissatisfaction with the buffet, lunch and the room cleaning attempts. As per our personal conversation at the reception, I did apologise that the room cleaning was not done immediately after you have requested it. At the same time it was not necessary from our side to explain to you in detail where the miscommunication happened as it did not change the situation. As a team we are learning from service shortfalls and investigate each incident to improve our offerings. However, our management team refrains from highlighting or blaming single team members or departments in front of our guest as processes are too complex to pinpoint individuals. We exactly know where the failure happened and did the necessary to avoid the same in the future. It was good. Barbarons beach is public beach but it feels like a private beach when you stay at Avani. The service was excellent; and the food was okay. However Avani is quite far from all the action.

Chilled, great scenery, views from restaurant stunning. Eating on the beach. Pool is lovely. It’s changing though- becoming a family centric hotel- so great if bring the kids. Not so great for a romantic honeymoon or anniversary treat. On the edge of becoming too “plastic” -rooftop bar has gone - replaced by unused mega expensive restaurant. Lines of floats in the sea don’t say Seychelles - more Costa Del Sol. Glad I was coming over past 20 years. Still fabulous though.

The previous upper floor bean bag bar has been replaced with a memorable dining experience outlet called The Terrace offering a fabulous 4 course meal cooked right next to your table. Due to its private dining nature, it is usually frequented for romantic dinners and special occasions. The floats in the water are based on an initiative from the local authorities and the hotel to ensure a good and safe swimming experience on this public beach which is welcomed by locals and tourists alike. Bel hôtel mais les chambres ne valent pas ce prix
Tout d’un 4 étoiles récent, belles installations, petit-déjeuner vraiment complet, personnel au petit soin... hormis la chambre en rdc : très sombre, mauvaise odeur d'humidité continue malgré le déshumidificateur constamment branché; la nuit c’est parfait pour dormir avec le ronronnement de l’appareil. La chambre standard à ce prix est trop chère pour la qualité de la chambre. Je ne recommanderai pas, surtout à ce prix là.

L’hôtel nous a appris quelques jours avant notre arrivée qu’ils avaient fait du surbooking et du coup ils n’étaient plus en mesure de nous accueillir. Cependant aucun problème ils se sont occupés de nous trouver un autre logement aux mêmes conditions et cela a été totalement transparent pour nous.

We booked this hotel because we missed our connecting flight to praslin. The hotel is beautiful and the beach and pool area is amazing. The rooms are ok. Nothing special and outdated as people say. My complaint would be the air conditioner. The room was HOT and HUMID all night. The service was amazing. We left at 5am the next morning and the front desk was up to greet us goodbye with special to go breakfast. We didn’t really try any hot food so I have no review. I would recommend but just take note of no real air conditioning.... after all you are in the Seychelles. Go to the beach!!!

Great hotel and great service
Not the best beach part for swimming with all the waves but hotel staff is excellent in service, compassion and solutionoriented!

Loved the restaurant right on the beach...I just wish there were some activities by the pool in the day eg: water aerobics, cocktail demos or at least some music playing some of the day in the pool area.

Great vacation and hospitality experience at Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa. The value and the price what we expected as a 4 star hotel. Our Beach front room was clean and net with extemly comfortable bed, the view from the room and the balconi was amazing. The pool, spa well maintained, at the garden and at beach front hardworking staff were consistently cleaning the area. Very comfortable to stay at the beach front. Staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly also advising highlight excursion. The restaurant was well arranged with breakfast and dinner selection. All food was delicious and tasty. Great omelette, fresh fruits and smoody station in the morning, at night the barbecue garden was great especially fish selection. Restaurant Manager and Ex-Chef were consistently checking guests experience during any meal. Friendly and hardworking staff were looking for any opportunity to have our stay enjoyable and memorable. We thorougly enjoyed our 6 days at Avani.

Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Pasti discreti (quindi molto buoni per lo standard delle Seychelles). Area della piscina molto piacevole. Stanze nella media. Spiaggia bellissima (anche se spesso con acque piuttosto mosse). Splendido il panorama, la struttura è incastonata in un’ansa formata da un monte ricoperto di vegetazione tropicale. In generale ci siamo trovati molto bene, considerate però che i prezzi dei servizi (transfert/bevande/ristorante) sono piuttosto alti)

Vu incroyable dès le hall ! Le personnel s'est montré absolument adorable et très attentif auprès des enfants. Buffet de qualité par élaboré par un chef investi et adorable (il est passé nous voir pendant chaque service matin et soir !!) Un grand merci à toute l'équipe et particulièrement à Angela pour ce séjour de rêve qui a conclu apothéose nos formidables vacances au Seychelles !
