I bought Universal Season passes for my family, but we're from out of town so that means finding a place to stay--hopefully one we can use again and again as we use our passes. Overall, the apartment was clean and had plenty of space which we were grateful for, but we were so darn uncomfortable in the beds it made our experience staying here unpleasant.
If you like brick-firm mattresses, then this place will be great for you. For everyone else, consider a different option. No one slept well including the teenager on the futon (called a sofa pullout in the room description). Frankly, the futon and the frame it was on was the cheapest possible option and you could hear the squeak of my brother turning all night long.
Due to the sleep situation, we found other points in the room we would have been fine with except they became annoying per we weren't sleeping. 1) The toilet ran the first night we were there non-stop, very loudly. 2) There was no blow dryer (thankfully we'd brought one) and no laundry soap for the washer. 3) The furniture, the towels, the kitchenware, and the toilet paper were all the cheapest possible products you could get on the market. Again, we probably would have overlooked, but we were all so tired we were ready to leave California a day early and go back to work just so we could sleep in our own beds. The other rooms may be better. For all interested parties, avoid room 201 if you do not like sleeping on a plank.
