Just wanted to let you know, that the steps are a bit steep to the 4th floor. No elevator although room was nice. Could use a few more necessities in the kitchen. Nice bath products, linens and bedding. Enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous location, Gorgeous room
Really lovely room with kitchenette and en-suite. Everything you needed, inc a fan as it was a warm night. Fantastic location and super nice hosts. Thoroughly recommend 😀

The positive: - Comfy bed - Good-looking room - Towel heater rack in the bathroom is a nice touch. - Very conveniently placed next to a train/tube/metro station and near restaurants and shops. -Staff was accommodating The negative: - No lift and narrow staircase: if you have a lot of luggage, or mobility issues (or both), you will not enjoy this - Single pane windows: you will hear any and every drunk screaming at 2 am. - No handsoap anywhere (you have to wash your hands with dishwashing soap or bodywash) - the bathroom door is a sliding door which slides one time out of 2. - Shower caddy was broken. - The coffee area is not very sanitary, considering the current pandemic (sugar cubes in a glass, coffee in a tin that previous guests used, etc.) - Some of the furniture needed repairs (missing handle, for example) - Single-ply toilet paper

Quiet and comfortable. The ONLY inconvenient thing was walking 2.5 flights of stairs. However I only had to do it twice a day. Staff was very nice and helpful. Not intrusive yet responsive and helpful. Close to Underground and St. Paul’s, the Thames and excellent shopping (Bow Lane). Not a place to expect room service but food was really good. Very nice bathroom and kitchenette. It is essentially a nice 1 room flat with all the charm you would expect. Loved my 4-day stay.

Lovely little hotel
Lovely little aparthotel - good size room, stylishly decorated, fully equipped kitchenette, comfy bed. Pillows could have been a bit softer but that's the only grumble.

Beautiful Apartment
This studio apartment was absolutely amazing. There is easy check in system and you can come and go as you please. The bed was extremely comfortable and anything you would need (e.g kettle, iron, toaster) is provided in the apartment. This is definetely where we will come back to stay when in London again.

I loved the ambience of The Three Cranes! The hotel/pub resides in The City of London which is a cool place and a tube station is just a few feet away. The rooms sit above a pub and mine was on the top floor. It was large and very well laid out. The only caution I would give is that there is no lift just a small stairway which was very easy to navigate but one must be prepared for that. The TV had Netflix and YouTube which I really enjoyed. I was in town to attend an important event and also working on final edits for a book I was writing. With that, I spent most of the time in my room and really enjoyed it. Its laid out like a small apartment with a small kitchen and all the things you would need including an umbrella. The pub and small eating area were fantastic! The best thing about the property was the staff who were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. Really enjoyed the place!

Amasing. I stayed in their studio. Much better service than in many hotels (even 4 stars) I stayed in.... All complimentary items were from very good brands. They even put dental and sleeping kits. Very clean, friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely studio flat, full of character
Very pleasant one night stay, straightforward check-in (here is the key, let me show you to your room from friendly staff), beautiful spacious room nicely decorated, nice bathroom with lovely shampoo etc, small kitchenette, all very clean. Don't think there was air conditioning (luckily it wasn't too hot), just a table fan.

Badly managed and maintained
In need of some maintenance. Glass shower door with only half the fitting on falls off if you move it. Sockets Hanging off the wall. Incredibly dangerous. Large clock with no battery in is annoying! Clean enough, but half used carton of milk in fridge. No shower gel only shampoo and conditioner. Keys in box on wall. Had someone waiting outside for the room I was in at 9am. Really not being managed or maintained very well.

The room is very confortable. Unfortunatly the bed was only a double bed and not a "very big bed"as expected. Hotel very well situated next to the train station. Cofee, tea, milk available in the room for free.

The room was an excellent size, clean and the bed comfortable. The issues were, no soap, no tea or coffee makings, things I would have expected, even at London prices. I brought this up with the chap at the bar, admittedly as he was closing the bar for that is when my informed me. He went off to, I assume find some, and in his return stated that all he could do is offer to buy us coffee and or teat the following morning. Further, the cleaning of the pub and its facilities went on into the early morning and the noise created disturbed our sleep.

Large well appointed suite with stair access only
Well appointed suite with kitchenette. Well furnished and in good condition. Comfortable place for a few nights' stay. The room was on the 3rd floor and only had access by stairs. Unfortunately the staff wasn't expecting me when I arrived but the room was ready so it wasn't a problem.

It's awesome! 3 floors above a Pub, and seconds or minutes away from an Underground station. Now, if you check in at a weird time or when they are closed you'll read the E-mail for the LOCK BOX code. I was in a hurry and didn't realize this. Until I was at the door and the bar was closed. The room, and bathroom are SUPER MODERN, Clean and cozy. Nothing run-down, and pleasantly surprised.

Hidden gem
I honestly can’t say enough about how accommodating the staff is. The location is perfect for the Underground. It isn’t the quietest of places. It’s above a pub after all. But I slept well every night, and the pub is closed on weekends if that’s a problem. It’s a fantastic little place and quite a find.

Phenomenal place
The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond. It’s barely 50 feet from the Mansion House tube stop. And you’re staying above a historic pub in old, old London in a studio apartment. I’ll never want to stay anywhere else in this city.

The service was excellent since we arrived. The staff is very kind and the location is super Centric, less than a minute from the train station. The spot have plenty of places to eat. When we get back to London, we'll pick this place again.
