Very nice location in London, very convenient. The space was plenty large enough for our party of 5. However the check-in lock box was difficult to find (picture provided was not up to date.) We checked in to find the property needed emergency plumbing (toilet was unacceptable.) Ceiling leaked and water pooled outside of the master bedroom.

plumber nightmare
asked to give keys up so the plumber could fix the toilet then couldn't get in at the agreed time - code not working at the key drop. great location but ...

Mayfair Bargain
Perfect location: just behind Marble Arch and close to both Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street restaurants and shops. Wonderful to have 2 1/2 baths with 2 bedrooms-- perfect for us and our daughter. Kitchen small but useable. Furniture, fixings and general apartment in fair to good condition. Only downsides were: (1) a noisy next door neighbor who- despite our polite requests- insisted on playing his music and having loud conversations with friends at 2 in the morning throughout our weeklong stay. As a result, we effectively had to use the living room couch-bed as our second bedroom; and (2) rather shabby (but clean) entrance area and staircases to the apartment .

Horrible first experience with VRBO and Hostmaker
Rented a 2 Bed, 2 Bath flat in the Marble Arch district of London and the experience was absolutely horrible. One of the bathrooms never worked the whole time we were there and the 2nd bathroom finally got the shower working the last night we were in town. They locked us out of the flat the first night and we had to call a locksmith at midnight to get back into the flat because one of their maintenance personnel improperly locked the flat. So in the end the 2 bedroom, 2 bath plan never happened and the experience truly took away from our trip to London. I would not recommend VRBO or Hostmaker to anyone!!!
