Great vacation
Was a great and cute house, very quite great neighborhood. Great location but only down fall Was we had to leave vacation over. But we will rent this house again. Only thing I did not like was dogs can't go up stairs.

Wonderful weekend , lovely home
Great location, lots of room. Loved having all our family which includes our little dog. The only issue was no batteries in the tv remotes. The living room did have batteries, however that was the only one. Sally Pellett

Very clean and great layout. Perfect walk to the beach. Needs more plates/bowls/flatware
Very good. Will return if kitchen is stocked more. I didn’t like having to hand wash or run a half empty dishwasher after each meal.

Comfortable for teens and adults
We spent three days after Christmas in this home, 2 adults and four teens. Everyone had plenty of room. Downstairs had a bedroom, bathroom, living room with mini fridge and microwave. Also a ping pong table and dart board in the laundry room. The gas fireplace downstairs is not functional, other than that it’s a nice space. Upstairs has three more bedrooms, one master with a bathroom, also a main bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room with a taller 4 person game table and a gas fireplace. A deck wraps around the second floor and has a hot tub, the biggest disappointment of our trip since we wanted to enjoy it but it hadn’t been serviced and smelled terrible. The gutters on the west side of the home need cleaned soon, the water was cascading over as we were packing things up and down the stairs. The beach is a short walk away, very easy to navigate through the small neighborhood to the access point. Also close to shopping, outlet mall ( though we had more fun shopping the local shops on hwy 101 ). The arcade on the hwy is excellent and had every game imaginable including ski ball, carnival games, and endless pinball. We had pizza from Gallucci's Pizzeria (excellent) Chinese from Foon Hing Yuen ( huge portions, so good! ) and burgers from hwy 101 burgers ( probably the best burger ever! ). It was an excellent getaway and can’t wait to do it again!

Great spot close to the beach
We had a great time at Charlie’s place! It was exactly the vacation we were looking for. We got to go to state parks and the beach during the day and hang out in the hot tub and in front of the fire at night. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, there is so much space in the house. We went alone this time, but hope we can come back and share the experience with some friends and family.

Christmas 2020
Th house was perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of room and space to spread out. The fire place provided a cozy experience for Christmas morning.

Great weekend with friends.
Spacious comfortable clean home. Within walking distance from the beach and casino. Owners were easy to communicate with. Great spot to be with our dog. Just an over all lovely weekend getaway away with friends. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Close to everything
Charlie's place was a nice walk to the beach and out of the tsunami hazard zone. Close to casino/stores/restaurants yet in a cozy older neighborhood. The main living area is on main floor. With having small children it was nice having all 3 bedrooms on one floor (the other bedroom is on lower entry level). The flooring looked new however shortly upon arrival a cup of water was spilled and when i wiped up w paper towel it was filthy. Like floors hadn't been cleaned in months. There were dead flies in most of the windows (between window and screen) that needed attention. There were no large drinking glasses but other than that kitchen was equipped. Beds were very comfortable and bedding soft and appeared new. Plug for bathtub upstairs nonexistent so had to plug with wash cloth to bathe children. Hot tub was extremely dirty upon arrival however I messaged owners that night and a hot tub maintenance person came the next day. The owners were so incredible nice and attentive. They were extremely accomodating!! This would be a great place for two families as the lower level has a bedroom and livingroom area. Overall I would stay here again :)

HI Bethany, Thank you for the nice review! We will look into the drinking glasses, there were some large ones a few weeks ago. There are instructions on how to get the bathtub plug to work in the rental book that's located on the entry table. We look forward to seeing you again! Thank you!

Friend Retreat
Charlie’s place was just about perfect. We had a couple hiccups, but those were due to prior renters, not the Owners, and the Owner was easy to get a hold of and quick to resolve the problems. The home was clean, perfect location and perfect size for multiple families with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy without being under one another’s feet even when the storms rolled in and we were stuck inside. We had a wonderful stay and will return again!

Cute and spacious beach house
Cute, quiet neighborhood close to the beach. House is clean, spacious, with all the comforts of home. Great rental and the owners are super nice and great about communicating with you. This would be a great place to bring the whole extended family for a fun week at the beach. Or it’s great for a smaller group if you like having lots of space.

Labor Day weekend stay
We enjoyed the spaciousness of the home. The area for the dogs to go potty was very convenient. It was nice to have a safe place to be during the pandemic for our annual trip. Thank you!

Family summer fun

Beautiful and comfortable
The house was amazing and very open. The comfort of the deck out back is spacious and seats plenty. Great for friends and family to enjoy amazing time together. Close to shopping and beach access.

Great again
Our second time staying at Charlie’s place. Two blocks from the casino/ beach is hard to beat. They’ve added a bed to one of the room downstairs. We had a small issue with the cable not working for the TV. They fixed it immediately. We would stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Charlie’s Place. Plenty of space, great location, and a hot tub!
We spent the thanksgiving holiday at Charlie’s place and had a fantastic time! We loved the layout and the space it provided for our family. The kitchen provided enough space for all of our baking/cooking. We loved the location and that we were in walking distance to the beach and close to the outlet mall and grocery store! Plus the bonus of the hot tub was super fun! We would definitely recommend Charlie’s place and would stay here again!

Nice house, the property manager is amazing!
The property is lovely. You can hear the ocean from the house which is an excellent experience while you're soaking in the hot tub. As of right now, the listing has no photos if the downstairs, which was a little confusing upon arrival. With any questions, comments or concerns I was at to txt Kathy , the property manager, and get a response usually within the hour which was a huge plus to me as I ask a lot.of questions. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recomend Charlie's place to our friends and family.

Very Nice
Great property. Only two blocks from a great part of the beach. Home was clean and well maintained. Hot tub was also very clean and well taken care of. Parking is a little tight, but we also have two large trucks. We would stay here again.

Great Home-Wonderful Layout
The home was in an excellent location and the split level worked well for our family weekend! The space on each level was used well (the remodel is looking fantastic). Kids could play ping pong and relax downstywhile adults were upstairs! The scenery is beautiful as well from the deck! The owners were responsive from the time of the booking through my little additional questions throughout my stay. I’ll definitely recommend to others and stay again!

We had a Blast!
Our Lincoln City yearly tradition is still the highlight of or year, weather seems to always be perfect while we are there. Charlie’s place was the perfect getaway for our family this year as we finally were able to bring the dogs along with us on our adventure!

Fantastic getaway
Me and my family loved this place so much room very clean great scenery. We are defenitly looking forward to come back. The beds are super comfortable all the furniture is very nice. And the pictures don't do justice of how nice this place is. The only down side was no a/c or even a fan. It was 76 degrees in the house. Surprisingly not a lot of air flow with the windows open But other than that it was such and amazing place. Can't wait to come back with my family.

Great vacation was had
I recently signed up to play in the APA pool tournament held at the Chinook Winds Casino. Last minute we decided it would a great spring break opportunity for the wife and kids. We arrived and the house was exactly what we needed. Well kept, clean, close to beach and also to the casino. We definitely look to stay here again on future visits to LC.

Spring Break
Nice house, relaxing deck and great location. We had a great time thanks so much! We loved having the space outside ( hot tub/sitting area) and a second table for games. We would have liked having a BBQ to cook on and an arm chair would make the living room area more comfortable. It was difficult for everyone to sit and watch a movie. We would stay again for sure.

Truly a home away from home!

This home was filled with everything us and our friends needed for the best beach experience. The only thing I wish we would have had more of, was time. Nice house, poor customer service
There were 8 of us (all adults) that went to stay at this house for my birthday weekend. August 2nd-5th, 2018. Upon first pulling up to the house, the trash can sitting in front of the garage was overflowing, and additional trash bags were sitting beside the trash can. First impression was not off to a great start. Upon entering the house, it had been beautifully renovated, especially the kitchen. One of the reasons I chose this location was for the hot tub. When we arrived, the hot tub was a whopping 64 degrees. Unusable to say the least. I contacted the rental company who said a repair man was supposed to have fixed it that day, which did not happen, and that they would have someone out to look at it the next morning. The next morning we found that the couch was covered in dog hair, there was a moldy applesauce cup and crumbled cookies under the couch, and there were various items still under the beds and end tables from not being cleaned, i.e.: building blocks, used q-tips, confetti, and more food containers. Friday at 10am the house owner came by (very nice man), checked the hot tub, took most of the trash from the front of the house, said he would look into the hot tub issue, and left. As we were getting ready to go into town, a different man came up the stairs, went straight to the back deck, unannounced, and was very unpleasant when approached. Turns out he was the hot tub repair man. Without dragging this out too much further, the hot tub was unusable our entire stay. The location and house itself, were nice. The kitchen has dishes/utensils, but no basic cooking necessities (salt, vegetable oil, seasonings, etc.). I wish I could have left a more favorable review, as I had high hopes for this house. We will not be returning.

Very nice place to spend a relaxing weekend as a family at the Oregon coast!
we loved staying here! This is a very roomy house with lots of amenities. There is a well stocked, full kitchen if you choose to cook dinner. The whole house has a classy but homey feel to it that is perfect for enjoying family time at the beach without the 'hotel' feel. The beds are very comfortable and pretty. it's awesome that there are three bathrooms. The lower story is nice for if the kids want to be more noisy than maybe the adults are wanting. My kids enjoyed the ping pong table and darts. The beach is not very far away and is a nice beach. My kids went boogie boarding and we even saw one whale. It's nice afterwards that there is a washing machine and clothes dryer to not have to take wet clothes home with you. we enjoyed quite time on the roomy upper deck with beautiful vegetation and flowering plants. The deck chairs are very comfortable. We also enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi at the end of the day before bed. Leaving here at the end of our stay was really hard. Would definitely love to come back
