As paisagens ao redor do hotel são belas paisagens alpinas. O vilarejo é minúsculo. Fomos na primavera, boa época para fazer caminhadas nas montanhas. Fomos algumas semanas antes da temporada começar, portanto o transporte público era muito mais limitado e os bondinhos para subir nas montanhas estavam fechados, mas com carro isso não foi tão problemático. Durante a nossa estadia houve um problema com o aquecimento da água, o qual Alexander se prontificou a resolver. Alexandra é uma ótima anfitriã, sempre atenciosa e com dicas do que fazer. O café da manhã tem opções para veganos, é farto e gostoso. Infelizmente a hidromassagem não estava funcionando, então acabamos não usando a zona de wellness, que também é equipada com sauna. O quarto era confortável e limpo, com sacada e vista das montanhas.

Das Arlberg Stuben Team PS Die verschiedenen Saunen schalten wir zwischen 15 - 19 Uhr ein, das Jacuzzi ist ganztägig, ebenso der neue Schwimmteich, der gerade am Entstehen ist. Danke für Ihr Verständnis. Dem Jacuzzi wird ein anderer Standort zugedacht, da die Erdbewegungen nicht unerheblich sind und dieser über die Bauzeit nicht benützbar ist.

Spectacular place to stay!
The hotel is in a small village. There isn’t much to do there. Nearby is Lech, which has a lot more to do. There is a lot of hiking here in the summer, which is when we came. The staff was WONDERFUL! They treated us so nicely and were extremely attentive. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The dinners each night were outstanding. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. We would definitely come back and hike some more. There was nothing to improve. It was a little cold out and we asked the staff to start the sauna for us. It was like we had a 4 star spa all to ourselves. We had sauna, steam room, etc all to ourselves. The waiters were very professional. The area is so beautiful with waterfalls nearby. Truly this is a gem!

Great find and value!
This place is a gem! Quaint hotel in a picturesque location. Huge, clean rooms with everything you need. The staff was friendly and check-in and check-out was speedy. The food at the restaurant was amazing and so was the service. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Great stay
We just used this hotel as a place to sleep on a roadtrip, but we regretted not making more time to stay. It was comfortable and clean. We all really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Definitely worth a splurge for a fancy dinner, or the breakfast which looked amazing.

Die Buchung im Internet war irreführend. Aufgrund der Fotos, der Homepage vom Hotel und des hohen Preises haben wir uns ein Zimmer im 3*-Hotel mit Wellness vorgestellt. Unser Zimmer war aber im Kohlerhaus, einer alten "Skihütte" etwas abseits vom Hauptgebäude, ohne Wellness nur mit Sauna. Dies hätte man nur im Kleingedruckten lesen können! Zimmer waren sehr klein, Gemeinschafts-WC und -Dusche, Frühstück sehr spärlich. Kein WLAN (wo gibt's das denn heute noch?!?). Preis/Leistung schlecht.

Lieber Matthias, leider können wir auf den Buchungsportalen unser Kohlerhus im Augenblick nicht anders bewerben und es tut uns leid, dass eure Wünsche nicht erfüllt wurden. Ich hatte euch die Nutzung des Jacuzzi im Hotel angeboten. Falls ihr zum Ende der Saison nochmals zu uns kommen möchtet- meldet euch bitte! Die Skihütte ist urig und zum "Entschleunigen" gedacht. Viele Gäste lieben diese Möglichkeit!

Very old
The bathroom was shared. This was not mentioned in the advertisement. There were stitches in the sheets repairing holes. We were not in the main hotel, we were taken to an extremely old house with several rooms on several floors. The floors creaked and it was kinda creepy. Everything was old. We were on holidays for 30 days - this was the worst hotel room of the entire trip! We did not get our money's worth on this one!!

Excellent hotel close to St Anton and Lech
A wonderful small hotel 5km west of St Anton, with easy access to the ski areas of Zirl and Lech (11km). I visited in summer off-season, unfortunately the weather was terrible so was unable to gain an appreciation of the local area. The town I figured it would be very quiet at the best of times (off-season), in all honesty a destination only for starting and ending hikes and cycling tours. But it served me very well as a one-night stop on my drive from Salzburg to Zurich. Room was to a high standard, although the toilet had a see-through door which I would not have appreciated if I was travelling with company. However the internet was very fast, a welcome rarity in this part of Austria. What makes this place special is the restaurant and its manager Ivo. Don't be fooled by his Manuel-from-Faulty-Towers appearance (every time I saw him I could not help be reminded of the TV comedy), he will overwhelm you with his warm welcome, efficient service and detailed local knowledge. Not to mention the sumptuous breakfast, with its many varieties of granola, honey and local jams, it would take several days to try them all.

Not ski in ski out no hot tub
Hotel was very quaint and well suited. Comfortable for certain. However they false advertise as this is not ski in/ski out. Have 5 minute walk to the lift. Also, says outdoor hot tub and this is not true as there is no hot tub. Staff is helpful when you directly approach them but don't even offer smiles as you pass by--possibly the culture not certain. Otherwise really was a wonderful place--would never return as so many choices there--pick larger hotel with more amenities and ski in ski out if I return

Zu dem Thema "ski in and ski out" informieren wir sehr gerne, dass wir neben einem anderen Haus das einzige, direkt an 2 Liften liegende Haus in Stuben sind, wo die Gästen bis vor die Haustüre fahren! Wahrscheinlich ist das Ihrer Aufmerksamkeit entgangen - sehr gut über unsere Webcamps überprüfbar :D. Auch Geländeabfahrten von Zürs aus führen direkt zu unserem Hotel. Für Skifahrer, die auf die Albona fahren, kann von keinem Ski in and ski out die Rede sein; in diesem Punkt haben Sie recht. Unser Whirlpool befindet sich unter freiem Himmel und ist über den Ruheraum ins Freie gut erreichbar. Unsere Gäste lieben diesen hotespot! Schade, dass Sie dieses nicht entdecken konnten, zumal wir ein sehr kleines Haus sind. Wir legen größten Wert auf richtige Aussagen unsere Dienstleistung und Ausstattung im Hauses betreffend - bitte scheuen Sie nicht das Team an der Reception oder im Service zu fragen; die Mitarbeiter führen Sie gerne direkt hin. Gerne bewirten wir Sie ein andermal und wünschen Ihnen einen angenehmen Sommer. :D

Tolle Lage
Das Hotel liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Sessellift Albona-1 entfernt, mit dem man in die Skiwelt Arlberg einsteigt, entweder in Richtung St. Anton oder Richtungen Lech/Zürs. Auf dem Rückweg fährt mit den Ski fast direkt bis zum Hotel. Die Skipässe können im Hotel ausgestellt werden. Das Hotel selber bietet ein sehr umfangreiches und leckeres Frühstück ab 7:30h. Nachmittags gibt es eine Jause mit Kuchen, Suppe, Wurst, Käse und Brot. Abends gibt es ein schmackhaftes 4-Gang Menü, mit Salatbuffet, Suppe, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch, dabei kann man zwischen 2 Suppen und 4 Hauptgerichte wählen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Skiraum mit Skischuhwärmer, Hotelbar im Kaminraum und einen Wellnessbereich mit finnischer Sauna, Dampfbad, Infarotkabine und Outdoor-Whirlpool. Im Ruheraum sind allerdings etwas wenig Liegen. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden. Die Zimmer haben neue Bäder und bequeme Betten, das restliche Mobiliar war schon etwas älter. Volle Weiterempfehlung!

Gemytligt boende i kohlerhaus
Väldigt gemytligt boende i Kohlerhaus. Enkel standard, men mysiga och rena rum samt en trevlig stube. Mycket bra mat ingår vid halvpension, bl.a fondueafton en gång i veckan. I huvudbyggnaden finns en trevlig spaavdelning med jacuzzi utomhus. Vid boende i Kohlerhaus fick man dock inte använda den fritt utan fick betala en extra slant.

Good morning Sir We are very sorry that you felt cheated. In this certain case it would be the same to us too. Your booking was based on the services and corresponding prices of our skihut the Kohlerhus and not of the corresponding services and prices of the hotel Arlberg Stuben. Our hotel Arlberg Stuben is based on 3 stars and our skihut the Kohlerhus is based on no stars. So we do understand that we could not meet your desired services even though the given upgrade to the hotel were based on the smallest prices for the biggest room with 50 qm left. Again, we are very sorry because holidays are important for the whole family and everyone is looking forward to every year great joy.

Einzigartig!
Es war mal was ganz neues: wir waren im Kohlerhaus, hier ist alles sehr schön. Auch das Frühstück und die Bedienung ist super! Den Abend in der Sauna ausklinken kann man hier auch im Keller. Einzige was wir nicht zu toll fanden ist, das es keine Toiletten oder Duschen auf den Zimmern gibt.

Hallo ihr Lieben Danke für die erfrischende Rückmeldung. Wir freuen uns natürlich immer über grosses Lob. Das lieben wir an diesem Beruf so sehr. Ja, die Skihütte hat ihren Charme und den behalten wir uns bei, indem wir mit dem Hüttencharakter wie zu Omas Zeiten punkten. Das bringt natürlich Dusche und WC auf der Etage mit sich. Drum haben wir uns damals entschieden als highlight eine Sauna hineinzubauen, was übrigens nicht üblich ist, für eine Hütte. Nochmals vielen Dank und gerne bis zum nächsten mal.

Der Aufenthalt im Kohlerhaus des Hotels Alberg Stuben ist eine Reise in die Vergangenheit. Das Personal im Kohlerhaus sehr nett und aufmerksam. Der Zustand der Zimmer und Sanitäreinrichtungen ist dem Preis nicht angemessen. Frühstück und Halbpension ausgezeichnet. Zum Abendessen geht man drei Minuten, das muss man wissen ist dann ok.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Rückmeldung. Wir warden vergangenheitsgetreu in die Vergangenheit reisen und dementsprechend nachrüsten. Der Impuls noch bessere Beschreibungen bei den Partnern der Buchungsmaschinen einpflegen zu lassen, finden wir sehr gut. Dankeschön und mit den besten Grüssen aus dem Kohlerhaus

Really nice place and service out of the winter season. We didn't noticed that we booked to stay in the ski house (only 150 mts from the hotel), but as we have two kids of 4 years old, we were easily upgraded to stay in the hotel at a fine extra price. Amazing view, all very nice and we would definitely come back!

A three-day stay in an Alpine hotel
A nice stay in a clean and modern hotel. Views are amazing. Wi-Fi connection was quite bad in our room but worked fine otherwise. Breakfast was good. Quite fancy restaurant downstairs, kitchen was open until 9 pm.

I need to clarify that I chose to upgrade the room i had booked online and paid for the difference. In short: - Very friendly personnel with problem-solving approach. - Very nice, spacious room. - A bit noisy at times because all traffic was directed through the Pass (tunnel was closed).

The host prepared breakfast in the eve ing as we had to leave very early. The host carried refrigerator from base floor and prepared meal.

Rustig dorp. Vlak bij skilift.
Wij verbleven in Kohlenhaus, een dependance van Hotel Arlberg Stuben. Uitstekend ontbijt daar. Voor de avondmaaltijd, die ook uitstekend, was liepen we in drie minuten naar het hoofdverblijf. de kamer in het Kohlenhaus was eenvoudig. Geen eigen toilet en douche. Keurige skiraum met verwarmde elementen om de skischoenen te drogen. Sauna aanwezig. In de middag 16.00-17.00 uur was er in de ontbijtzaal een onthaal met gratis soep en zoetigheden.
