Cozy Getaway
This property was the perfect size for our family of 4 and small dog. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials (kitchenware, towels, blankets). We were able to enjoy both the hot tub and fire pit, and there was lots to do nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice getaway!
Beautiful property and very clean. In a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. 5 min ride to the beach. The hot tub was a wonderful asset in winter. Suggestions to earn the 5th star: The kitchen could use improvement: in absence of a dishwasher a drying rack for dishes would be great to have. We only found 1 wine glass in the cabinets - might be good to restock to a full set of 2 :) The water pressure in the bathroom sink is very low, but in the shower it is fine. I would definitely recommend this place, and would gladly go back there for another stay.

Everything about our trip was outstanding, we got lucky for February with the weather, except our check out day( 6 inches of snow), we walked to the beach everyday. Very clean, and we didn’t need to bring anything. Our family would love to stay again!!!!

Peaceful and relaxing
The house is in a great location, clean, and very cozy. It was the perfect place to relax for a weekend away. We had a small issue with the shower but property management was easily accessible, professional, and very helpful. The beds were dreamy and we loved the hot tub!

Stayed here for Christmas Prelude
This house was in a lovely neighborhood and was close to the center of Kennebunkport and the Christmas Prelude activities. We were 2 couples and 1 dog. The house was clean with plenty of space. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen had plenty of glassware for wine and cocktails and cups for coffee. One bed was a queen bed and the other bed is a full-size bed, which is a bit small. Fortunately, one of our couples is not too tall, so they took that room. :-) The bed sizes were included in the online description, so it was no surprise. I am just mentioning so others are not surprised or assume a larger bed. We were also a big negligent in reading the instruction manual regarding the heat, and turned up the thermostat on the wall. After a couple hours with it not getting much warmer, we finally looked in the book and it said to use the remotes in each room to control the separate units and NOT to use the thermostat. Whoops! It would be helpful to have a small message at the thermostat saying not to touch it. We were there for the weekend and the house certainly suited our needs and the dog friendly aspect was a big plus for us. We did not have time to take advantage of the hot tub.

Small home in a lovely neighborhood in a great location.
The home is very comfortable and all basic supplies are provided. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals and enjoying the outdoors. The hot tub is great, and in good weather there is an outdoor table and fire pit. We loved it!

Very Comfortable
My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night's stay there. The house was located in a neighborhood with beautiful trees and charming houses. Since it was just the two of us, we had plenty of room. The backyard was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside. On a chilly night the hot tub felt good even though it had a fishy smell. Don't know what caused that. We just tried to ignore it. When we got there the garbage bins were filled with trash and some was outside the bins. It was unsightly, but fortunately it didn't smell. One morning we noticed the neighbors had their bins at the end of the driveway, so my husband pushed them out for the garbage men. For the most part the house was very clean except for a few tiny areas the cleaners missed. A mistake easy to make since it's a lot to clean in just a few hours.

Quiet neighborhood near beaches
This was my second time staying at this cute little home. I was very impressed by the beautiful new stone walkway, stairs and patio with four Adirondack chairs, a stone fireplace and hot tub! There's also a private deck with four chairs, table, umbrella and grill. The property was spotless and the kitchen was well-stocked. There's a fireplace in the living room. The only thing that could be improved someday is the couch and two sitting chairs in the living room. They just need to be reapolstered to make things fresher, but they were perfectly comfortable. I look forward to staying here again with my dog.

Beautiful footage close to the beach.
Loved this place. Very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Situated on a beautifully landscaped lot with a front porch and deck. Close to the beach. The only negative is that the management company never responded to any of my questions, either via VRBO or text. Luckily, it had everything we needed and the automated instructions were adequate so it did not negatively impact our stay at the beautiful property.

Nice location
We had a wonderful stay for two nights. Excellent property. Location was great. Property and the neighborhood are surrounded by tall pine trees. Quite street with very light traffic. House was clean with two decent sized bedrooms. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Bathroom had enough towels and there were beach towels too which we used for the beach. Beaches are just 5-7 minutes drive. Close to Rachel Carlson Wildlife Refuge. Overall a happy stay!

Our second stay: Still no Red Sox games or live FOX news that we could find, and feel those elements should be included in the Spectrum pckg. If you don't care to watch, so be it, but if you wish to and can't, its disappointing.

As Advertised
We had an excellent stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving. We really appreciated the super clean house, extra linens, and washer/dryer since we stayed for a few weeks. Everything was just like the descriptions. We loved the setup. The only drawback of being there in November was the ability to keep the house warm. But we are excited to visit again in warmer weather.

This was a well appointed home in a great location.
My husband, dog and I had a wonderful time. Because of the well appointed kitchen, we were able to cook all our meals and found the home very comfortable. The location is near to nature reserves and beaches.

Food for thought
The house had the overall appearance, as advertised, and while we were essentially comfortable, the two arm chairs were worn, the TV was fairly small and the viewing 'package' appeared painfully minimal. There is no dish washer, and all the window sills were filthy. Our dog felt much at home. In summary, a nice little property, but consequently overpriced.

As advertised
Good location, quiet neighborhood. Nice area. Main floor was clean. Basement had some water in it and what looked like mouse droppings - really not surprising for the area, backed up to woods, however feel that they shouldn’t ask renters to give them a head start by throwing in a load of towels. We did that and were not happy to see the basement. Unsure if we would stay there again as a result.

Nicole, thank you for staying with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. The basement is not advertised in the listing as space where guests would dwell. It has a washer and dryer and is not an area where guests would spend time. We apologize for any confusion. Our check-out instructions ask that if guests have time and would like to start a load of towels it is helpful to housekeeping. It does not say that guests are required to do this task. We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future.

Short but Sweet
We rented this home for our weekend family getaway. We would spend the day out exploring the local area and we would return cleanup and snuggle by the fireplace to end the evening. Overall this place was perfect for us with our 3-year-old. He had plenty of toys to play with and fell asleep just fine in the crib provided.

Perfect for families!
This home away from home was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean and family friendly. In a quiet neighborhood that my son could ride his bike in. Quiet back yard to grill after a long day at the beach. Close to down town and the beach yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Super clean and comfortable. Will definitely book again!

Relaxing Retreat
This house was a great place for my sister & me to have a relaxing sisters vacation. We were able to cook our meals, enjoy time on the deck, and also go to the beach easily. Perfect location!
My Mother and I were celebrating her 85th birthday, and this home was perfect for her for several reasons. One, we could bring our little Yorkshire Terrier with us. Two, we were off the beaten path, nestled in the woods but minutes to the beach and Kennebunkport. Three, her one request was to have a deck where she could sip her morning coffee, and we lingered for 3 hours Saturday morning, soaking in the sun, chatting, and listening to crooners on the Bluetooth speaker. The house was immaculate, we had everything we needed and more. The owners took great care to provide a book answering all questions related to the house, who to call when, emergency numbers, etc. The decor is tasteful beachy, painted in relaxing natural colors and tones. As a matter of fact, we made it a point to stop on the way home at the art studio where the owners had shopped for a lot of their pieces--my bathroom now has a wooden seastar and a block print of a mermaid hanging on the wall--a reminder of our fabulous weekend away from it all. My only comment is we would have preferred having window blinds/shades in the crib bedroom. If a baby were to sleep in that room, naps and/or sleeping through dawn might be a problem. My mother was wide awake once the sun was up--not a big deal but curious as to why there are shades in the front bedroom, but not the other. We had a wonderful meal at The Hurricane! We usually go to Joshua's in Wells, but didn't want to drive south. We shopped a bit before dinner and enjoyed the 'Port as we always do. Thanks for hosting all three of us, we had a delightful weekend and hope to return next season! All the best for a wonderful summer, Cathleen Gable North Andover, MA

Clean and relaxing
