It is a quiet peaceful village and is home to the beautiful blue flag beach of Kells Bay. It is an ideal location for families as it has soft fine sand and many rock pools for children to explore.

Golden's of Kells located on the N70 Ring of Kerry road is a a 5 minute drive away. This fantastic facility has a craft shop, restaurant, food store and petrol station. The Quarry Restaurant serves delicious food serving breakfast, lunch and snacks. The menu includes fresh locally-caught fish. Kells Bay House and GardensKells Bay House and Gardens is a fantastic local amenity and attraction. Here you can expolore 17 hectares of various tropical plants and forestry. The Kells Bay Gardens Plant Centre is an enthusiast-owned nursery that specialises in the import of Tree Ferns and other rare and unusual exotics from around the world. The current plant range is comprised largely of unusual and rare plants from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil, China, India, Mexico and Chile.

The gardens boast magnificent views of Dingle Bay and have a variety of different walks and themes throughout. While at Kells Bay House and Gardens enjoy a Skywalk along the longest rope bridge in Ireland. 12ft in length the rope bridge is suspended at around 36ft over the Delligeennagh river.

Onsite there is a Delligeenagh River Café named after the river which tumbles spectacularly through the grounds. The name had fallen from use locally, until a recent visitor to the gardens recovered it from 19th Century maps in the County Library. There is also a Thai restaurant at Kells Bay House and Gardens, Sala Thai with spectacular views over Dingle Bay.Local Amenities and Attraction close to Kells BayEnjoy a game of golf at Dooks Golf Links which is just a 20km drive away from Radharc Na Cealla Holiday Home. Dooks Golf Links is one of Irelands oldest golf links and boasts magnificent views of the Wild Atlantic Ocean and the nearby Reeks Mountain range.
