Wow! Thanks for leaving my camp so clean after your stay.

Glad you had a nice stay. The screened in porch is the best room in the house. I do the cleaning and take pride in keeping my place clean. For some reason I do forget to check the refrigerator! I keep it empty so it's easy to wipe out. I'll try to remember for future cleans. Not sure what you saw in the living room. I always wipe down tables, vacuum and mop. I'll check for cobwebs in the corners. Thanks for the heads up. A clean camp is my top priority.

Wow! That’s the first non 5 star review I’ve had in years! I take issue with you on the cleaning. I do the cleaning. I’ll give you the spider webs. They form fast and I can miss them. My floors are not dirty. I sweep and mop after every guest. That’s once a week at a minimum during summer, and more than that during the off season when shorter stays are allowed. I don’t turn on the stove so I missed it being dirty. We don’t lock doors in the north country. I haven’t seen a key for that side door in over 50 years! I will install a slide bolt to put city people at ease. I make it very clear in the website that I have an apartment underneath the camp. It’s well insulated so I can’t hear you and you can’t hear me. I do use the dishwasher and not sure why it backed up into the sink. Making sure to use lots of water with the garbage disposal is important. I’ll have my plumber look at it. Thank you for the review. Jonathan

Sorry to read that you felt you didn't have a 5 star stay at my camp! All the information about the motorboat is clearly stated on the website. I do charge, but I'm just asking for fuel costs, and yes, I am the captain. You guys were lucky and caught a beautiful calm day and we were able to cross the lake, 12 miles, and have lunch in Burlington. Something you wouldn't have been able to do if I wasn't on board! Beds are always an issue. They're either too soft or too hard! Hard to find the sweet spot. A bit of an exaggeration about the train. Yes there is a crossing and he blows the whistle. 2 long, 1 short, 1 long. Most people get used to it after a night or two. A very random schedule. Some days no train at all. You should have asked me about the washer and dryer. It's downstairs and you're welcome to use it. Yes I live on the lower level. Also clearly stated on the website. I leave in the morning and back afternoons. A good time for you to do laundry. I reccomend all people read through the website listing so that they have a clear picture of what they're getting. The leaves have changed and winter is in the air. It's time to pull the dock and put the boats away. Headed to Tahoe soon. Think snow, Jonathan

Mona, thank you for your review. It was a fun week for me too. I love taking my guests out on the boat. It sounds like you had a great time at the camp. I'm curious as to why you didn't give me 5 stars? I enjoy feedback from my guests and try to address any issues they might have had.
