Great Location
Overall the location and stay were good. The house met our needs. The gas grill was not usable and the hot tub was very dirty and needed a good cleaning. We had a great time and home met almost all our expectations. Views were amazing. Owner was very responsive to any issues we had.

Quick stay on the way home from Spring Break
We enjoyed our stay here. It is a vacation home and this is the beginning of the season, so it was missing dish soap and some other various items, but being a summer home owner myself, I completely understand how that works in the spring. We were just grateful they accommodated us last minute. We caught fish, used the hot tub, and the highlight was the neighbor dog named ClayMoore. Such a sweet well mannered pooch. Our kids were delighted by his presence. It was a wonderful place to spend our Easter. We hope to visit the home again in the future.

Great stay
The house met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable, nice layout and beautiful. The morning views were breathtaking. We had great communication with the owners. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful View!
We have fallen in love with Smith Lake, and we have stayed in multiple places. This home had the BEST view of the lake from the dining room table. There was lots of living space so that we could spread out. The beds were comfortable, and there was lots of outdoor space that allowed us to spend quality time in the fresh air. Perhaps our most favorite feature of this house was Claymore. Claymore is a black lab that lives next door, and he is the absolute sweetest. He hung out with us from sunup to sundown, and he was so good with the kids and such an added bonus to our stay. We miss you, Claymore! Some constructive feedback - - The dock is in need of repairs. There were broken boards that were covered with temporary boards that had nails/screws sticking up and out. We were pretty nervous having our small kids down on the dock, and we definitely would not have been able to let them be barefoot if we had been swimming. I spoke to Keici about this concern - she explained that they are slowly working on fixing the place up, including the dock :) - The pictures show 4 chairs on the dock, but there was only one. There were, however, kayaks that were in great condition. - There were only plastic plates and bowls, and the plastic plates were in rough shape (very scratched up). Fortunately, we brought paper plates. With regards to cookware, we had everything we needed. We had a great stay, and we would recommend this home for its beautiful views and awesome outdoor space!

I’m glad you and your family had a great time! In I appreciate your feedback, we are always working to improve our little peace of paradise. I wish we could do it all at once but little by little we will get it done. We are proud with the work we have done since we acquired the property and happy to allow family’s to enjoy it as much as we do! Relax

Great rental

Perfect Vacation Getaway
This property is absolutely beautiful. We loved the muti-tiered deck and the swimming dock was perfect for lazy afternoons. The views of the lake are absolutely amazing. Keici was so easy to work with. She answered my questions promptly and we were able to easily add a day to our visit. Jasper is a great town with a charming downtown area. We loved it so much that we decided to buy property in nearby Arley and we are building our own dream house on the lake. Thanks for helping to make our dreams come true.

Labor Day Weekend
This lake house was wonderful and spacious. There are four levels of decks (one with a hot tub and one with a lounge area). The kitchen was well appointed, and the appliances were all new. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Smith Lake is beautiful and there were rocks of the dock that were jumpable! The kids had a blast.

Beautiful Lake House In A Great Location
We stayed here for 3 nights. The lake house is every bit as beautiful and scenic as the pictures make it seem. The home was spacious enough to accomodate our large group of 10, with plenty of sleeping locations for everyone. The property was very clean and well cared for. Check-in process was incredibly smooth and painless, and Keici (property owner) was incredibly helpful with any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway located right on the very beautiful and serene Smith Lake.

Great trip with family
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had plenty of room for our family and was very comfortable, the kids loved the game room, and the location of the house was great. Perfect weather and beautiful sunsets too! Wonderful vacation!

Absolutely wonderful!
What a wonderful week at the lake! The owners were responsive and kind. I had their cellphone number to call directly. The place was wonderful! Great views of the sunset while we hung out in the hot tub. We used everything! The fire pit. The dock. The kayaks. We rented a pontoon boat and used the boat slip as well. (We used squirrels boat rental, really nice guy, he’ll give you a discount if you rent during the week!) Constructive feedback: The ping pong table was broken but we were still able to use it. I would consider replacing it with an industrial ping pong table. A crock pot would be nice to have in the cabinet. So we could set our dinner meals and head out to the lake without leaving the oven going. A crockpot is safer. The fireplace ash needs to be cleaned out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. We will return!

Great cabin on the Lake
We enjoyed the cabin so much. Loved the close proximity to town and marina to rent a boat. The cabin was set in the perfect location amd can’t wait to go again.

Great time -- together and apart
My husband and I took 8 high school guys to this cabin. We easily parked 4 cars and could have had more. The various living/sleeping areas allowed us to spend time together and as groups. I loved that we could all eat together. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of basics and more than enough plates, bowls, and utensils. The oven was great--we used it a lot! The two pantries were wonderful for all of our food and snacks. The trip to Walmart/eating areas/antique stores was an easy 20 minute drive. There was also a grocery store and a couple of restaurants less than 3 miles away. I personally loved the covered deck with propane fire pit, as well as the floating dock. The guys fished, kayaked, and had corn hole (we brought) and ping pong tournaments. They also brought a gaming system which they could play on the basement tv, leaving the upstairs tv free to watch. The laundry machines were great. I will say that the locations of the bathrooms made it where the majority of the people were sharing a small bathroom---which is no fault of the owner. It could be a drawback for others, but we were fine. Be prepared to get in a workout with all of the stairs, but it was honestly one of the BEST trips we have ever taken. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Large home in a quiet relaxing neighborhood! They have all you need for a fun peaceful lake vacation
My Husband and I booked this home as a last minute vacation (3 days notice) with our infant (1.5y/o). The owners were very kind and had everything we could have needed! It was a little cold and rainy when we stayed but the owners have a game room/ hot tub/ and water toys at the boat deck that can accommodate any weather. The home is large enough to fit a very large family or group of friends! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and a perfect place to get away and relax. We hope to stay again in the future when it’s warm and bright outside and when our little one can enjoy the water activities!!

Making Memories!
This Lake Shore Home was the perfect place for our trip. My granddaughter, my great grands and myself stayed here over a long weekend. What a lovely place to make family memories! The home is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood with the most amazing lake views. There is a view of the lake in almost every room. This is a well -appointed home with lots of space for everyone. My great-grand daughter who is 6 years old really enjoyed the upper level bedroom and the spiral stairs. Everything was very clean even the many outside areas. There were many games made available for lots of family fun. Lots of amenities for water sports as well. Our Host was very kind and always there if need. We will remember the beautiful sunsets over the lake and memories made in your lovely home.

Bad weather but great stay
We had a bad storm blow through while we were staying at the house. It knocked out the power for a while. The owners were great they checked on us right away to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. The house and lake are awesome and we hope we get a chance to come back

Fall Break Get-a-way
We had a great time! Everything we needed was provided. The room downstairs with the pool table and foose ball table was great for my children. The decks and boat dock was great for sitting and looking at the water and watching the boats. I would advise that there are a lot of stairs if that is an issue for you, but we did not mind. The driveway is steep and a little hard to back a boat trailer down but we were able to manage it. The owner is very sweet and responded in a very timely manner. We had a great time and I would recommend this property.

Great Lake Front Home on Smith Lake
Our family really enjoyed our stay at this. lake front home on Smith Lake in Jasper, Alabama. The house was great. The beds were super comfortable. The view was amazing! The boat dock was perfect for our boat and the marina to launch our boat was not far from the house. Definitely would recommend this home for anyone looking for a lake getaway.

Lake birthday weekend
This was a beautiful peaceful spot to spend a birthday weekend. Keici was very responsive and easy to communicate with and was kind enough to accommodate a later check out for our family. We stayed here with another couple with a small child and our family has a 6 year old and an infant so we primary utilized the main floor. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, the views as mentioned were amazing. I did have to clean out up the outdoor areas before we could use. The decks all needed to be swept and the lower level lounge furniture had to be swept off as well. I would imagine this would be hard to maintain in a lakeside environment and I personally didn't mind cleaning it up for our use (cleaning is my love language) but it would have definitely been a bit easier/quicker with a leaf blower. We really enjoyed all the supplies available down at the dock, reclining outdoor chairs, water toys, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a basinette (which we used) a toddler bed, high chair, etc.

Fantastic spot to be away from it all
This was a terrific trip. The host’s descriptions were spot on. The property has a beautiful view of the lake with plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy company. The walk down to the dock was sturdy and lit well. There are neighbors nearby, but you can hardly even notice. Quiet, isolated, beautiful, even has solid Wi-Fi internet as advertised. Great all-around, and I highly recommend them.

Wonderful weekend
This place is fantastic. We celebrated our son's first week of school and it was perfect! I'm a fan of all of the outdoor levels and seating options. The screened in porch was a dreamy spot to enjoy breakfast and dinner. The gazebo is gorgeous. The view from the hot tub of the sunset was unreal. Our son loved the beautiful rock ledges. The home itself is just lovely with everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Oh and it's so easy to get to which is a huge plus!!

Amazing
For most of us, it was our first time to Smith Lake, and it was everything we envisioned and more. The Lakeshore Getaway was perfect. Keici was more than accommodating when it came to questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
