Great place!
We stayed her for our son's graduation. Very comfortable and well maintained property. We greatly enjoyed having the outdoor space when we needed a little down time on a very busy weekend.

Lovely spacious and relaxing main floor apartment
We had an excellent stay. The property is very central and we were able to walk everywhere. All rooms have generous proportions and are very tastefully decorated. The bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped. It really felt like we were staying in someone's house. We loved it!

Attention to detail
This property is a lovingly restored home with a mix of antiques and modern furniture. Lots of light, information on local attractions, everything we needed and then some (washer / dryer, umbrellas, etc), labelled with instructions. Beautiful private back yard with grill, fire pit, and places to eat outside. Flowers on the table when we arrived. Near restaurants and grocery stores. Beds, including foldout couch, were comfortable. Owner lives nearby and is very responsive. It was a terrific experience.

Weekend Visit
We had a quick, but wonderful trip to Ithaca and Cornell for a concert weekend and could not have had a better trip and stay the home. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, responsive and accommodating and the home was wonderfully prepared for us. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking to stay in Ithaca to consider staying at this home. It was ideally located and in great condition.

Perfectly Appointed
Such a great property - perfectly appointed with anything you may need; spacious living area adjoining to kitchen with plenty of seating. Beautiful outdoor garden area with places to sit and enjoy. Good location - close to Cornell and Ithaca proper.

Lovely and comfortable
We were in Ithaca for a small family reunion. This home was perfect. It was a lovely place for us to gather with relatives for some of our meals, and it was clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable for winding down and sleeping. The hosts thought of everything, including excellent directions for using the house and its amenities. We especially enjoyed the back garden. And thanks for providing Trivial Pursuit (fun to play in the evening).

Perfect location to explore Itheca
Very clean, comfortable, quiet two bedroom home. The two children slept well in the den. The beds were very comfortable, the living area relaxing and the kitchen had all necessary supplies. We walked a lot of the town, enjoyed the restaurants and hiked the many trails in the area. Would highly recommend this home.

Charming and clean!
This place is perfect for anyone needing a two bedroom that feels like home. The family room offers tv/privacy and even extra sleep room. Decorated beautifully and with a backyard. All the basics of home provided by the landlord. All good eats and local attractions in walking distance or less than 5-10 minutes and the lake beaches and parks all within 10-20 minutes. Highly recommend.

Great weekend in Ithaca, New York!
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautiful, clean and had a wonderful backyard. We even decided to stay in on our Saturday night, we grilled, ate and played backyard games! We had a great stay.... and it's a nice walk to Ithaca Falls!

Wonderful base for a week in Ithaca
This property is ideally located and beautiful inside and out. We took full advantage of the location, walking to the Commons or to the Farmers Market or Ithaca Bakery. The bike trail was a few blocks away. The owners were extremely thoughtful-- fresh flowers and a basket with treats and coffee greeted us. The house was fully furnished, and we even used the gas grill one night. The gardens are stunning and we spent a lot of time reading outside. The air conditioning and plumbing worked fine, and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you!

Summer getaway
The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is a multiple family house but the tenants are very quiet. There is a nice fenced in back yard where you can enjoy a fire in the evening and bbq for dinner. Off street parking is a big plus too. The apartment is very nice. It is decorated nicely and the woodwork is beautiful. We really enjoyed the place and highly recommend renting it n

Perfect Downtown Ithaca Rental
Looked just like the pictures. Great space, felt warm and cozy but also very spacious. The garden was even better than I expected. Felt very secluded and private. Perfect location for walking to places downtown while still being close to Cornell, Collegetown, Lake Cayuga and surrounding areas. Very convenient home base for my husband, eight month old daughter, as we revisited some of our favorite Ithaca spots.

Wonderful place to stay!
My family-my husband and I and our two adult sons—stayed here for two nights while in Ithaca for my niece’s wedding. I wish we could have stayed longer-the ‘great room’ was so inviting-comfortable furnishings with books and games available. There was a lovely secluded garden which I enjoyed sitting in early yesterday morning. It was nice to have the two bathrooms particularly with four people getting ready for the wedding-plenty of fluffy towels. The shower was large and the water pressure was very good. We ate meals out or at the wedding so we didn’t really use the kitchen but it was very well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable-the futon as expected- a little less so. The pillows on our bed were softer than we liked but realized after the fact that firmer pillows were available. Check in and check out were so easy! I hope to have another reason to visit Ithaca soon so we can stay here again. It was lovely!

Fab 2021 Graduation Weekend
We were absolutely delighted to be able to host our son's friends with their families for a casual barbecue/party in the lovely spacious garden! It had multiple grouping areas (firepit, bbq, dining areas), and we put a hammock in the tree. Due to COVID restrictions, the complete lack of official events, and restaurant constraints, this was literally the only opportunity we had to celebrate these special graduates with families after a very challenging senior year. Being able to host something this year was a real gift to everyone there! We invited guests from 6-8 pm, but they all were enjoying themselves so much that the party didn't break up until 10 pm (which also happens to be when the neighborhood starts quiet hours). We used Wegmans catering to go to simplify the food. Ann, our host, was in communication with us throughout the party and our stay, to ensure that things went smoothly. The home was perfect for us with its simple kitchen, 3 comfortable bedrooms, and 1 1/2 baths. It also seemed to be wheelchair accessible, including light switches at waist level and a straightforward floorplan. The location was very convenient to the commons and the farmers market. I only wish the sun didn't wait until we were leaving to shine, but Ann couldn't control that! Very appreciative to have had such a lovely setup after a really difficult year. Thank you so much, Ann!!

This place is all good things: superbly designed, comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen, nice patio. And it's a short walk to Purity Ice cream. Excellent communication with hosts.

Girls trip
Mother-daughter girls trip to beautiful Ithaca. We were so very comfortable in this Delightful Downtown Ithaca Home & Garden! We made full use of the cozy home and even had a fire in the garden on Saturday night. Such a welcoming home for the three of us. Clean and comfortable and full of absolutely everything we needed for a weekend trip to this beautiful place. Ann was very responsive to messages leading up to our trip! Provided great suggestions for us and even left us some gluten-free treats since we expressed we had a gluten intolerance and were looking for gluten-friendly dining. Love this place - will definitely come back!

Fantastic stay again - our favourite rental in Ithaca ! Super clean, cosy, lovely beds too!

Immaculate, spacious and cozy!
Friends and I enjoyed a long weekend in this lovely space - everything was spotless and beautifully appointed - we felt right at home! Our hostess, Ann, was easily accessible and gladly offered hiking and dining suggestions. The entire rental process was simple and seamless. If you're looking for a place close to downtown Ithaca and the surrounding beauty where you can relax in a cozy and roomy space with all the amenities you'll need, this is the place for you! I highly recommend at stay at Ann and Chad's place!

Ithaca family thanksgiving

The ramp and wide hall do make this ideal for those who need to use a walker or wheelchair. I'm glad you took advantage of the fireplace, too. Thank you for staying for the holiday!

Just what we needed
This house was perfect for three of us. Having the extra half bath makes sharing a main bath much easier. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on a cold evening. Kitchen is very functional and the dining area very nice. The back yard would be enjoyable in warmer weather. Suggestions to make it even better: more detailed instructions on how to regulate heat, new bath towels (they were a bit crunchy).

Thanks for staying! Glad you enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen. Come back in the Summer when you can enjoy the back yard, too. Sorry the towels were not their fluffy best! We will improve and take care of both towels and heating instructions, as you suggest.

A perfect home for visiting local family in Ithaca!
Ann and Chad were extremely helpful and attentive while booking and during our stay, and their property was perfect for our family visit. We have stayed at a number of properties in and around Ithaca and this is one of our favorites. The home was very suitable for the 6 of us, ranging in age from 5-89. The entire home is well-equipped with everything we could have needed and more. All features indoors and out are maintained well, the house was clean, tastefully decorated, with plenty of extra bedding and towels should we need them. The kitchen had every item we could need for any kind of cooking/baking/entertaining, and was stocked with cleaning supplies. The garbage/recycling process was organized and easy to follow, and the washer dryer is clean and works well and supplied with laundry soap. We enjoyed having a few local family members over for grilling a few nights and also enjoyed the fire pit. We look forward to our next visit to this Ithaca property!

Second time staying here still lovely
Nice space, extremely clean and owners are very responsive. We had room to host friends for dinners and enjoyed the backyard too. Only a few minutes up to Cornell campus.

Beautiful, clean, great location
This was a perfect rental for our college reunion. The location is great - in a charming, quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the wonderful Ithaca Farmers Market, Purity Ice Cream, Ithaca Bakery, Gimme Coffee, Moosewood Restaurant, downtown Collegetown Bagels, Ithaca Commons and other restaurants and stores. The apt is spacious, light, stylish and clean, with a lovely yard, comfortable beds, and good shower. The owners provided everything we could want - a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of bath towels, fresh flowers on the table, a welcome basket of tasty goodies, and they even adjusted the arrival and checkout times to suit our needs. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Ithaca.
The apartment is the downstairs of a house convenient to downtown, but in quiet residential area with easy parking. We were five on a family visit and it worked great for that number. We especially liked the living room; even in inclement weather, its large doors opening to fenced yard made it a pleasant gathering place to enjoy each other's company.

A great apartment within a lovely house. The small touches really add to a great property such as flowers waiting on our arrival, extra kitchen and bathroom products available plus very comfortable beds and a lovely shower. We couldn't have wanted for more and the hosts were very communicative and responsive. We would highly recommend this great property.

Excellent on all accounts!
This was the perfect spot for our girls weeekend. Every detail was accounted for. The location is perfect and the rental extremely clean. There were fresh flowers on the table and lots of brochures to aid us with our weekend adventures. The beds were most comfortable, even the sleeper couch. The reservation process simple and communication clear and thorough. Our entire group of five raved about this property. The house is beautiful. Don’t even think twice, book it!
