The area is bit noisy outside which is understandable as it is within Taksim square. The hotel cleaning staff can be loud in the morning while working or knocking on doors requesting for room service. They have cleaning services until 4pm which is inconvenient, the rooms are also beyond small. We experienced a strange rotten egg smell after turning on the AC. The electricity also turned off twice for a couple of seconds which was odd to us. Not to mention when we initially checked in, we were told to wait approximately 2 hours. Expect a deposit on top of what u have paid for your stay in our case it was $200.

Hotel is located smack in the middle of Taxim square, conveniently located by lots of commercial stores and eateries. Breakfast was very good although at an extra charge. Regular rooms extremely small, so I asked for a bigger room; I was given a suite which was at an extra charge. Most employees speak English and are very cordial.rooms were modern and clean. Spa downstairs was a disappointment; it’s leased out to people that are not professional and do not speak English.the hotel lobby charges one rate and the spa itself has other rates.spa personal trying to get away by charging more… I would pass on that. But overall, pleasant stay!

The stay at this hotel was one of my worst experiences ever. 1. the hotel is not stroller accessible there is no ramp at the entrance 2. The room is beyond small once they put the crib there was literally no place to walk and when I went to the reception and asked if we can have a bigger room they said u need to pay 175€ extra per night 3. Almost all plugs were broken and that caused a safety hazard for someone coming on a family vacation 4. The rooms are not sound proof as claimed since we were hearing everything from the room next door and even if they bang against the wall i could feel the wall moving 5. On day one the water bottle served was open 6. On day 2 they put shampoo for 1 7. There was a broken mirror which ia another safety hazard 8. Most of the furniture was burnt with cigarettes although the hotel is smoke free After stating all those facts this hotel star rating should be revised because this hotel maximum deserves to be a 2* hotel

I want to thank everyone at CVK they offered incredible service on the day we arrived and were very gentle and professional throughout our stay , will definitely recommend them in terms of where the hotel is situated and its proximity to the great attractions in istanbul

Didn't like it s all
Arrived very late, around midnight. The guy in the reception was not nice at all. Location is terrible. Very noisy and doesn't help even if you close the window. The location is also bad as it's in front of the square, doesn't feel safe, lots of suspicious people. Hotel is old and inside the room you see it. Bath needs urgent makeover. Sometimes no hot water as well. Very hard mattress.
