Great location to explore the National Park
Lots of space to spread out for our small group. While the home needs to good update, it was spotless and well stocked with everything that we needed. It was quick and easy to get to the main road and there was no problems parking.

great location
The location is perfect for exploring the North west part of the park. The property is very private and quiet yet neighbors are close by. Felt very safe. We had a couple of issues that required a phone call to Gina and she was very responsive. When the power went out (which happens occasionally) she made sure we had firewood for heat. There is a dramatic tree covered canyon bordering the backyard that’s beautiful but not safe for small children.

Review of Rental House
This rental house was filthy, had not been cleaned for awhile. Left over food in cupboards that were opened. Could not use the oven because it was filthy, carpet was so dirty we had to walk around in footies, dust on everything, cobweds in corners, mold on shower curtains and corners of the house. Rotting porch with nails sticking out, kitchen counter taped on, sheets and bedding not clean. Would not stay here, was advised as a 4 bedroom, had 3 bedrooms and one other room with a hatd futon, no extra towels for shower. The fact it was so dirty and unclean and has not been well maintained should be reason to not have it on a web site to rent.

Adequate accommodation
Good location for visiting the region, pretty central to what we needed to see and close to a supermarket which makes it convenient for making dinners. The house was clean but could use some TLC. It was very old and weathered, the photos are quite generous in presentation but everything went well.

We stayed for a long weekend to explore the area. For the most part, it was a great stay. The main shower filled up with water as I showered and took a while to drain. The futon was very uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the couch. The couch was more comfortable to sleep on than the futon so our four bedroom rental turned into a three bedroom and couch rental. . We also had to buy trash bags for the kitchen trash can which seemed a little odd to me to have to purchase. An old alarm went off in the middle of the night but after pushing a few buttons I got it turned off. Other reviews said the house was dated and while true it really is only the main bathroom that is dated and no big deal. We enjoyed our stay at the house and would rent again but I would suggest putting in a single bed where the futon is so you can comfortably sleep in that room. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Forks Getaway
Still our favorite place to stay in Forks. Spacious house with lots of room inside and out for our whole family. Communication with the host is superb and they address everything quickly. See ya next year.

Perfect Location
Very impressed with house. LOTS of room, everything you’d need in kitchen. Quiet backyard, surrounded by woods. Close to town for shopping. Would definitely stay again!

Great launch ad to ONP
Family gathering spot for discovery to the national park. We used the kitchen, shower and bed, the rest of our time was spend outdoors. This place provided for our basic needs. We would stay again .

Convenient for Western Olympic Peninsula
We used this unit as a base for visiting the western portion of the Olympic peninsula including the Hoh Rain Forest, beaches and Cape Flattery. Host was gracious, property clean and photos accurate. Property is somewhat dated but adequately functional for our party of 5. 4th bedroom is really a bonus room with a futon.

Nice for Forks
We loved the location and the charming 70s style of the home - especially the dining room nook. It was convenient to a number of beaches and the Hoh forest. John’s Beachcombing Museum in town is wonderful. Check in was easy. I needed to communicate with the host once about an old alarm going off and she was quick to respond - this happened twice, but thankfully not while we were sleeping. Forks is a small town and I think modest accommodations should be the expectation when visiting, but this is a lovely house and a few finishing touches would make it an even better stay.

Great Stay
House was in a nice location, convenenient to town and attractions in Olympic National Park. It was quiet, had plenty of parking, and the back yard was really nice. The inside is somewhat dated but open, spacious, and clean. Absolutely no complaints there. Overall we had a great stay and would defintiely rent this house again.

great location for seeing western end of Olympic
A little dated. Had a couple of issues with the cleanliness but that wasn't owners fault, and they were very quick to respond to any communications. I am sure they will make sure their cleaning crew does better. Location is great for seeing the western side of the park. Easy drive to major attractions. Note if you are trying to go to HOH rain forest leave early!!!! Grocery in town has everything you need.

Wedding Party
We came for a wedding and all 8 of us enjoyed being able to relax, stay together and enjoy this quiet place. All was good, plenty of comfortable beds, games to play, a fire pit. Couldn't have asked for more. The only bad thing was a cobweb in the living room...if that's the worst, I'm cool with that. Thanks again, we will return someday.

Fantastic Forks getaway

Very quiet and comfortable
We took a trip to see the forks area. The rental was very clean and quiet and exactly what we were looking for. We used the fire pit and spent the night enjoying the stars.

Great stay in Forks
Property was as described and truly a gem there in the VRBO market. The property was easy to find, close to town and fit all of our needs. Max was a great communicator with quick responses. I would definitely recommend this home and Max in the Forks area.

Great Home Base
Overall, the house was very comfortable, and probably one of the nicest rentals in Forks. There are clear cuts all around, but the property itself does back up against some lovely forest. The house could use some updates, like new carpet, I really appreciated the communication with the owner. She was very open to feedback, and that’s not often the case. I also really appreciate that they don’t use scented detergents. That is a welcome change from most of the places we stay. It was a great location to explore all around the area, and the house offered the perfect space for us. The football table was fun, too! We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time, old friends and our 50th anniversary. So pretty and quiet and lots of room. We felt safe and comfortable. We hiked the Hoh rainforest and watched the sunsets on the Pacific Ocean a half hour drive away. Gina was so kind!!

Enjoy the quiet and the beauty
The house is at toward the end of the road, kind of the last house of the "developed area" where there are just a couple large parcels after, before the road peters out at a fish hatchery. The neighbor across the road waved as we were moving in. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the house is conducive for relaxation. It had more than enough room for our group of four. This is our second time back to the Forks area. It's a sweet little world there tucked in to the back of beyond.

Great Family Get Away
Perfect location for enjoying hiking in the Pacific NW. The home is very comfortable and large. The yard is beautiful. It was a great place to relax in after a long day of hiking. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we had so many places to visit.

Third time as charming!
This was our third consecutive year staying at the house for the Forks Fouth. It was as great as ever and our kids love it just as much as we do! Especially the Slamball (Foosball), as our 7 year old calls it, table in the garage.

We were only in town for one night, but it was in the perfect location close to Forks and about 25 min from the beaches. Very spacious, clean, large property. Would definitely book again if in the area!

Home Away From Home
We took two teenagers to see Twilight origins. This house is perfectly located to be a home base! Forks, La Push, Rialto Beach and the Hoh rainforest were highlights. Having a large, relaxing, well stocked house to come back to each day was perfect! We cooked and had everything we needed. It was a great trip!

The house was clean and ready for our stay. The grill mentioned in the amenities list was basically not usable but we worked around it. We had a minor issue with the door lock but Gina addressed it right away. Overall nice house.

Great house for family group
Very thoughtfully stocked with linens, cookware, cozy seating. A bit worn, but easily overlooked when you take into account it's a great location for exploring the peninsula. The neighborhood is lots of clear cut acreage and trailer homes, but it is a logging community. Our group of seven considered it a good value.
