We go over our housekeeping policy with every guest and they sign an acknowledgment of it before they can check in. We're surprised and disappointed by your comments. You're right: Over the course of a three-night stay, we do not enter a guest room unless asked to. This pandemic/post-pandemic era practice is widespread in our industry. Rooms are thoroughly and professionally cleaned between guests, so your libelous claim that we do not have "maid" service (they are housekeepers, by the way) is way off base. Our outstanding staff get excellent reviews for their professionalism, friendliness, and hospitality across all venues. We'll let those speak for us instead. We wish you safe travels.

City officials have rejected our every proposal for a retrofit solution, so we remain like nearly every other lodging on the Oregon Coast--except for providing those portable fans in every room. But for us, it's not for lack of trying. Our retrofit plans have been denied by city building officials. However, unlike other places, we do provide those portable fans which, when used along with the bathroom fan, can work quickly to bring in the cooling breezes off the nearby ocean and river.
